What can I say had a brilliant time in the 6th birth motorhome down in Dorset. It was brilliant from start to finish.Mike goes above and beyond to make sure everything is in tip top condition,we wouldn't hire off anyone else . From beginning to end, our experience with the service was nothing short of exceptional. Mike's warm and attentive approach—from our initial inquiry to finalizing the purchase—made the process smooth and enjoyable. His cheerful demeanor was truly a delight.The moment we laid eyes on the motorhome, we were captivated. It exceeded our expectations on our journey, providing a cozy home on wheels. The motorhome was in immaculate condition, and converting it from a vehicle to a living space was a breeze, taking only minutes.Mike took the time to walk me through the setup with an easy-to-follow explanation, complemented by a picture book of instructions that even my 4-year-old could understand. First thing first and cards on the table, we have been friends with Fleck and Jane for more years than I care to think about (never mind mention)

So if my experience of Flecks Motorhome was pants, I would keep it to myself, but it wasn't so I feel I need to do this.

We have been away with Fleck (Mike if you have read other reviews) and Jane in his vans, as guests, so turning up at the very secure compound to collect the van, I wasn't expecting the whole handover talk.
Mike (Fleck, keep up) is thorough if nothing else, it turns out I knew nothing about the motorhome.

The handover was ever so easy to take in but extremely thorough (bit like Fleck), do read the manual that is supplied though, not only will it remind you of the things you forget, but is funny as well, actually worth the read just for the humour.

The home is spotless and has everything you require, including, really nice toilet and kitchen roll, better than we have at home!!

The camper was a pleasure to drive, once you have relaxed it's dead easy.

Our car was left in a super safe compound, and oh yes we got treats.

Ps Waving at other motorhomes on your journey is a must

I really wish we could give you 10 stars! From our very first meeting with Mike we knew we had found someone very special, he thinks of everything to make an utterly trouble free experience, and is determined to make the hire of his vans the very best it can be!
We were more than happy with his previous 6 berth but now he has upgraded, our 7th hire for the Glastonbury festival-we were blown away!! Spacious, comfy, immaculate, automatic transmission for an easy drive (good on fuel too!), WiFi (how happy were the kids?) I could go on (& on, an on!).
If you've been tempted to take a trip but feel a bit unsure, Mike's your man, this isn't a business to him, it's a passion, he doesn't even increase his hire charge for Glasto like others do, and I would recommend him to anyone!!

Having never had any previous experience with a motorhome or caravan we found Mike's tutorial when we picked up the motorhome very informative and easy to understand. Mike made us feel very relaxed and couldn't emphasise enough that he was at the end of the phone should we have any queries or concerns.. which he was.. Thank you.
Off we went in the 6 berth, just the two of us. I found driving the motorhome similar to driving a van and I was soon confident both on town roads and on the motorway.
This was a long weekend taster for our 1st adventure. We will definitely be hiring again (for a longer period) from Flecks (Mike) and highly recommend to anyone considering hiring one for a motorhome holiday. Just to add, the vehicle was spotlessly clean, with a full supply of gas, fuel and water. It had everything we needed including some 'welcome' fizz and chocolates 😊

To start the friendliness from Mike from the first enquiry all the way to the purchase was so reassuring and helpful to what we required. Such a nice happy man and a pleasure to meet.

The motorhome… what can I say, we fell in love from the 1st viewing of her and she did not disappoint at all on our trip. Making our holiday a home and a home on wheels at that. The motorhome was in superb condition and so easy to tramsform from vehicle to living/sleeping area with in minutes.
The setup of the motorhome was explained to me by Mike and so easy really to understand and to mention he has made a picture book with all the instructions in on what and when to do that even my 4 year old daughter could of done it. There simply isn’t enough words to describe how happy we was even in some of the windiest rainy conditions we felt safe warm and At home on our trip thanks to Mike and the motorhome. Our whole round trip was so special and the sights, waterfalls, caves and beaches were just made better knowing that the motorhome and Mike had us in good hands.
1 billion % would recommend and we will be using his service again.

The 6 birth van is a dream 😍. Fully stocked with everything you need, comfy beds and full instructions for all aspects of van life.
With 3 adults, 2 kids (11 and 13) and 2 dogs it was 'snug' but we loved the whole adventure.

So, this was our fourth hire from Mike and Flecks motorhome hire. If that doesn’t say enough, then read on!

We have hired the six berth “beast” on each hire and have throughly enjoyed each and every hire. The van itself is versatile, modern and less itself to any trip. On this hire we took her to Kendal calling festival and she was awesome. Mike keeps her well stocked with accessories to keep the stay well accommodated. We did have a glitch where the leisure battery gave up the ghost (completely unavailable and unpredictable) on the Friday night, I messaged Mike and he answered immediately and assured us that he would attend the following morning with a new battery and did so without fail. New battery fitted the next morning with a smile and laughter throughout. Thanks again Mike!

What an experience!
Fleck is the ultimate gentleman and host. All the information and the induction was second to none. Fleck also attended my home twice after hours to ensure that there were no stone unturned and that our time with the motor home was 1st class. All the accessories worked and everything was easy to use and if there were any issues fleck was just on the end of the phone.
We were incredibly happy with the service and will be booking again very soon.

From start to finish, the service that Mike has given has been second to none! His attention to detail and overall willing to help no matter the issue, has been outstanding.
The 6-berth motorhome was very clean, all essentials were provided and the beds were very comfy. The overall drive, despite the size, becomes quiet effortless after you have a couple of hours under your belt.

Just had a fantastic holiday in one of Flecks Motor Homes, the 4 berth Autotrail, extremely well equipped, everything you will ever need and more for your trip and yes even the kitchen sink, exceptionally clean and a thorough run down as to how to use all the van has to offer was given by Mike which put us (as first time Motor Home users) very much at ease, backed up with a self explanatory manual which we didn't need as Mike is only a phone call away, headed up towards Northumberland staying at Barnard Castle, Alnwick and Dunbar then back towards home via Scarborough and lastly York, loved the experience in our home from home and greatly appreciated the complimentary Wine and chocs., once again thanks Mike for an unforgettable experience have recommended to friends and family already, hope to see you soon

We have just got back from our second trip in Fleck’s motorhome (6 berth). We can’t recommend Mike and the motorhome enough - from the second we speak to Mike about hiring the motorhome, right to us dropping it back off, the experience is second to none. The motorhome came with everything we could have imagined we could have needed, including prosecco for us and sweets for the kids! We would recommend Mike every time - he can’t do enough for you to make your trip as seamless as possible. We look forward to our next trip!!

Mike is extremely professional - on it right from the start! Responsive and competitively priced. We have rented both motorhomes with Flecks in the past few years and each time the experience has been top notch. Everything clearly explained in a thorough handover, backed up with detailed instructions inside the vehicle (there’s a lot to remember!).

Just spent a fantastic week in Scotland in Flecks 6 berth Motorhome and had a brilliant time from start to finish. It’s our third time of hiring from Mike but first time in six berth and the Motorhome was excellent, Mike did his usual thorough handover even though we had hired before, because he doesn’t leave anything to chance. The Motorhome was spotless on collection and has everything you need including a bottle of Prosecco and doggy treats which is a really nice touch. The customer service Mike provides is second to none, nothing is an issue and he genuinely wants you to have a great holiday which is why he goes the extra mile with everything, I had to message him on our first day and happened to mention I had forgot to bring an expensive bottle of wine I had been saving since Christmas, but hold that thought for a moment. We had a slight issue and broke one of the wing mirrors completely, after speaking to Mike he decided to make the trip up to Aviemore, approx 750 mile round trip, to replace the mirror as it was difficult to drive without it and guess what, he brought my bottle of wine with him. Mike and his wife made that trip, in one day, just to ensure it didn’t spoil our holiday and that is the measure of the man your dealing with, absolute legend, you will not get this sort of service anywhere else, look forward to our next motorhome adventure.

Excellent condition of vehicle, excellent explanation of how to use things, first time mobile home user, so we knew very little about how things work, just returned from a 12 day trip doing NC500, nothing phased Mike, would definitely hire from this company again, so knowledgeable, so friendly, if we was not sure about anything, quick text and he would answer straight away, the homes had everything needed for a most stress free trip, thank you Mike

Just got back from a 2 week trip in the 6 birth motorhome and what an adventure it was travelling the full length of the uk just under 1600 miles! From the get go Mike was so professional, explaining every single last thing that needs to be known making sure we had the perfect holiday. The motorhome was short of nothing and had everything 4 adults and 2 children and a dog needed. We all slept very very comfortably. Any time I forgot anything or came across something I was unsure about Mike was either on the end of the phone or a very quick reply away on WhatsApp.. for anyone wanting to hire a motorhome I would highly recommend flecks motorhome hire! My partner and i hired through Flecks Motor Home Hire a 6 Berth in July of 2023. We travelled for 8 days throughout Scotland and had a ball. The Motor Home was such a success mainly due to Mike's professionalism and care that he took. From our first enquiry Mike was always straight back to us and the communication was one on one, we were conversing with someone who cared and knew his stuff.
When Mike handed the spotless motor home over to Alison he went through everything with her plus has the best tailor made manual with photos etc, if there was anything we couldn't work out on the journey Mike was only a phone call away.
The quality of the motor home is immaculate, it drove so well, we slept so well especially with the sound of the rain on the roof! It was great to be able to tour at our pace, pull over for a snooze and a cup of tea at will. While travelling we both got sick of restaurant and take away meals not to mention the cost so utilised the kitchen no end. Saved some money and ate well for the 8 days.
I cannot recommend Fleck's highly enough.

We hired the 6 birth motorhome last week to travel round London. We were first time motorhome users but Mike gave a through handover and showed us how to use everything. I don't have the best of memories so his how-to guides in the cupboard came in very handy. We enjoyed the week so much we'll be hiring again next year. I don't think the tent will see a field again. We are converted. 10/10
