Our family had a great experience with Flippin Awesome Adventures. We had to reschedule due to rain, but Captain Chris was very flexible and excited to take us out on the water! We saw dolphins, LOTS of sea turtles, sand dollars, crabs, urchins, snails, clams, fish and more! The creature corner was a great educational time to see what's in the local area before we did some snorkeling. It was great to see Shell Island, a little remote spot with lots of shells and beautiful water. We recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxed pace, adventurous, and educational time!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Captain Chris made this such an incredible experience for our family, and it’s something my kids still talk about long after the trip is over. This was our second year in a row booking with him, and we already know we’ll be back again.

From the moment you step on the boat, Captain Chris makes you feel completely comfortable and welcome. He’s genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll meet, and his passion and knowledge for what he does really stand out. Every trip feels personal, relaxed, and fun — more like spending the day on the water with a friend than going on a typical tour.

One of the things we love most is how private the experience is. Having just our group on the boat makes everything feel so much more special and enjoyable. The boat itself is spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

Captain Chris also does an amazing job making the trip educational and interactive. We learned so much throughout the adventure, and he was fantastic with our kids. My daughter is only 6 years old and had an amazing time snorkeling. She has literally talked about Captain Chris since our first trip last year and was beyond excited to go out with him again.

What really sets this experience apart is how much effort he puts into making sure everyone has a great time and gets to see something memorable. You can tell he truly cares about giving families an amazing experience.

I honestly cannot recommend Captain Chris enough. This was easily one of the highlights of our Florida trip, and we will absolutely continue making this part of our family vacations every year.

For the second year in a row, Flippin Awesome Adventures did not disappoint. Captain Chris, a marine biologist, is extremely knowledgeable about the sea creatures we found on our outting. While seeing wildlife is never guaranteed, we've always seen something cool. Dolphins, exotic fish that I would never see in Minnesota, giant snails, there's so much. The water may have been too chilly for some, but for this Midwestern girl it was wonderful! We got to snorkel, walk the beaches, have snacks on the boat and collect treasures to take home with us, along with great memories. Our dog even got to join us. She was one tired pup at the end of the day. We will 100% book this trip again next year when we're back in PCB.

What a perfect day out on the water!! Saw dolphins in the first 10 minutes. Chris knows right where to find them. We saw several different pods, it was super cool. Then Chris jumps in and comes out of the water with a freakin puffer fish!! Like whatttt, who else does that? You have got to book with Flippin Awesome, you simply can’t get an experience like that anywhere else. Then we got to snorkel and saw all sorts of critters. Chris knows everything there is to know about all of them too. I just can’t express enough how magical it was being out there. Please, do yourself a favor and take this tour!

Chris was not only knowledgeable and professional, but he was so much fun!! He truly has a love for creation and all things in it! I learned so much today and had so much fun!! Shell island was beautiful and we saw a sea turtle!!! I will definitely be back!! Thanks Capt Chris!!!

This was the best shell island tour we've been on. We loved that it was a private tour and how informative and fun it was for the family, kids, and even us adults. The snorkeling portion was a lot of fun too. 10 out 10, we will be back.

We had an amazing time out today with Captain Chris! He was so knowledgable and also funny as well as a patient teacher and made our girls trip was so much fun! We saw dolphins, got experience a “critter corner” and learn about urchins, sea stars, crabs and more plus got to snorkel and find some goodies ourselves. Great day and I absolutely recommend if you’re anywhere near PCB to try them out! You won’t be dissapointed!

We just got back from a 3-hr trip and had the best time with Capt Chris. Our toddler was blown away by the sea stars and sea urchin he brought to the boat for us to see. Highly recommend!

This is more than just a boat tour. Its like tagging along with your happiest, most ocean obsessed friend. And even if you start out not knowing him, you will feel like you always have after. He doesn’t just love the water, he lives it. My trip was an adventure, a comedy show, and a National Geographic documentary. Marine life feels exciting and unforgettable with him. So whether he is sharing jokes, grabbing sea creatures, or just celebrating the water like it’s the best day of his life(for him, it probably is), Captain Chris will leave you smiling and talking about when you are coming back for your next adventure with your new best friend.
