Flooring Village Avis 

Went for the Berry Alloc herringbone laminate and I am really pleased with the end result!! I was very happy with delivery (timelines and protective packaging) and my fitter says it’s one of the best laminates he has ever laid!! Really great finish!!
My only problem was that initially I didn’t order enough - don’t know if the calculator needs to be adjusted for herringbone flooring, or if the advice needs to be made clearer to ensure you have more than 10% “wastage” but either way, I had to go back to them for 2 more packs (can’t buy single packs for herringbone, but that’s the manufacturer, not FV!). When I did go back, customer service were really helpful and the packs arrived in a couple of days!!

Very good on price and flooring well packaged and protected on a pallet. Problem was that it was the wrong product. This was quickly addressed by the friendly customer service who arranged for the wrong order to be picked up and the correct one replaced. My issue is with communication, I wasn't informed of the pickup of the wrong items, luckily my wife was at home so was able to assist and I had to ring up to confirm the delivery of the correct flooring. A bit more attention to informing the customer is needed. Otherwise very happy and would recommend.

Extremely pleased with the whole process from order through to delivery.
I placed the order and fully expected to wait for 2-3 weeks for delivery. Within a week I received notification from the courier that the delivery had been scheduled.
The goods were delivered in perfect condition.

I purchased my parquet flooring and trim from Flooring Village at the beginning of the pandemic. They delivered it just as they shut down. The service and helpful staff were excellent. My flooring is now down and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and finish. I will be back when another room gets done. Well done.

I shopped around and Flooring Village was the cheapest option for the product we wanted.
After placing the order, I realised that the delivery would be scheduled for the following Monday which meant I would miss the opportunity to lay it over the weekend. I was cheeky enough to ask if it could be delivered on the Friday and they completed as requested.
I have now laid the LVT flooring and it looks great.

Everything went well up until the point of Delivery. Not only was our order mismanaged, we were then blamed for what transpired. An offer to 'compensate' us was given by refunding delivery cost, problem is the delivery was supposed to be FREE. We were given a few reasons that were rather contradictory for why our order could not be delivered. We are now out of pocket by almost a third of the cost of the flooring itself. The only person worth any salt that we have dealt with is their junior e-commerce assistant. She was courteous, helpful, responsive and the only reason why this company gets one star at all. Perhaps their flooring sales manager could learn a thing or two from her.

Ordered one pack of Vinyl Flooring (order number 594172 in case their customer service team happens to see this) and two planks arrived damaged / unusable. This was Coretec Flooring where one pack costs approximately £160 so I wasn’t happy with this. Tried to phone and couldn’t get passed the hold line, so I then sent an email with pictures of the damaged flooring which wasn’t responded to. I use and recommend companies with good customer service. With Flooring Village it has thus far been appalling. Avoid.

Update: Following this initial review I was contacted by the company and given a refund greater than the cost of the damaged planks and an apology. That was appreciated and I have changed the review from one star to four star.

Great product at a great price - customer services were a little difficult to get hold of when I needed to return some unused flooring but understandable in current climate - all good in the end - Jemma was very helpful

Zero customer service
Had the wrong products delivered, tried to get them collected and refunded with absolutely no joy. Over 30 phone calls on hold over an hour each time, endless emails and not one response.
Allegedly pride themselves on customer service!

...2nd order placed with them, so far so good, no hassles. A quality product topped with a top delivery service👍

Ordered the grey dry back planks vinyl flooring, boxes arrived wet like they had been stored outside in the rain, CustomerService very cocky and didn’t care.

Excellent service, delivery arrived quicker than expected. Not laid flooring yet but packaging was immaculate so don’t expect any problems.

Ordered some laminate flooring that has been discontinued elsewhere to match another room. Brilliant price. Had to wait due to Covid but they have been brilliant, even managing to deliver early because I was going on holiday. Would recommend.

Absolute Cowboys - please avoid at all costs and save yourself some time and money!
They are selling product as 'in stock' on thier website, which is very clearly not in stock (Balterio Sepia Oak specifically - don't bother ordering).
They are ignoring emails, mis-leading the customer (me) about timelines and have cost me money in x2 delays with my floor fitters.
Poorest Customer Service I have encountered in a long time. Let's hope the promised refund (after 3 weeks of being led on) comes, so I can re-purchase with a reputable supplier instead of these jokers!

EDIT: And before you give me the 'Pandemic has swept across the world line' - Manners, callbacks when promised and genuine updates on order status cost nothing. A Global pandemic is not an excuse for out and out crap customer service! If you'd have been honest up front with me we wouldn't be in this situation.

Absolutely fantastic company.

I received a call to say I finally had the keys to my new home, I had no flooring down and with two girls and a dog I needed new flooring rather quickly. I rang these guys and they helped me choose flooring for each room and gave me advise on which is better for my family. Within 2 weeks the fitters came out and flooring was laid. Staff are friendly and very prompt :) highly recommend
