There is nowhere to cancel your subscription!!!!! I sent an email to their sales indicating dissatisfaction with the service and they still charged my card in the following month. Easy to subscribe but no way to unsubscribe.

Hard to cancel... use at own risk
Used it for 10 minutes cos of the advertising, but it didnt quite produce what i wanted. Went to cancel, and like many, I can confirm 100% that the "help" page they provide to cancel is a lie... the page has a video showing a manage button, however, this button doesn't seem to exist in real life (i have screenshots etc).
their chat bot was pretty useless, as it said the same thing, but then said something similar to "email them directly". Googling the cancelation process, it appears many have struggled to cancel A FREE TRIAL, and still get charged later for their "trial".
while its nice to have the "owner" reply to some of these saying...
1:"there is a button to cancel."... if its there, at best its well hidden and not in line with the documentation on their site and at worst, its just not there (aligned to the many comments already stated, including my experience)
2: "you are charged cos you used over the allowed ai credits" (which seems to be other feedback), then maybe block user and say "you are out of credit, would you want to buy some credits?" rather then just chew and bill... they say in their terms of services "We are responsible for communicating those fees to you clearly and accurately, and letting you know well in advance if those prices change", but clearly they havent done well on this front....
3: TOS - "We will immediately bill you when you upgrade from the free plan to any paying plan." - i havent tried this but im assuming if you switch the plan even though you are 14 days free trial, you start paying straight away... if so, choose your trial plan carefully
The whole thing just seems to be a bit misleading, it wasnt a good experiene, i didnt get what i wanted as a design out of it (the output was really rough, bad routing etc, the schematic were not clear etc felt like a 10 year old kid scribbled to make it)
ive had to resort to cancelling credit card so i can feel confident i wont have other issues / charges later for my trial.
Sign up at own risk, be prepared to change credit cards (or use a disposable one)

Scam and fraud
I wanted to try their free trial.
But just after registration, they charged me on $142.
Customer support said that they don't see any transactions in my account, and what that can be "may be a pre-authorization."
Why should I be pre-auth while I want to try the Free Trial?
DON'T SEND THEM ANY CARD DETAILS!!!

Scam
Scam. Don't put in your card details. I can't cancel, contact customer service and all they say is can't find account. Im resorting to cancelling my bank account just for this stupid app.
I emptied my bank account and I get email saying there was insufficient funds. Then they start charging again, I use same email to contact support, give them transaction ID with Flux.AI showing on statement and they just close ticket after saying I'll have to cancel bank account then.
Absolutely superb waste of time.

I already contacted you on ticket #85311005
I have you guys all info and sending the support email on the account that had multiple emails for the unable to charge.
What more do you need. Just tell me.
If I could upload a photo I'd screenshot the wall of emails saying you weren't able to charge my account.
Then when charges are succesfull you can't find my account? Please explain in your reply how that works.

It's a scam
It's a well made scam. I signed for a trial and there is no way to cancel your subscription in the user interface. Nowhere. The good thing is that i used a Revolut to register and now I can just deny payment when they try to charge me!
I wish I could attach a picture with my communication to an AI bot, that answered my questions with the very same email no matter what I ask.

They refused to refund my money
They refused to refund my money, but after pressure from Stripe and Link Wallet, I will finally receive my money after 10 days. Thank you, Link, thank you, Stripe. Note: The FLUX team told me that a refund was not possible at first. #3173-6160 #3826-1315
You say in the comment below that I meant another company. This is a cover-up. I meant you. Today I received the amount you deducted, even though they refused to refund it after pressure from Stripe. It's good that I used Link's wallet as an intermediary between us. I'm very restricted; I was about to be scammed out of $65.

Despite canceling my trial subscription. They are charging $15.42.
This is an unauthorized charge and I will be taking legal action.
Edit:
After contacting support, I have not received a response within 48 hours.

TRUSTPILOT REVIEW
TRUSTPILOT REVIEW — flux.ai
Rating: 1/5 (veya 2/5)
Title: AI Copilot cannot actually place components — only generates text instructions
Review:
I tested Flux.ai with a real industrial PCB project (LLC V3 — 180 components, 18 ICs, isolated power supply, CAN/RS485 communication, impedance measurement). Here is my honest experience:
What worked:
- Knowledge Base: Successfully stored design rules, pin maps, and component specs
- Copilot understands complex designs and generates well-structured analysis tables
What completely failed:
- Copilot CANNOT place components on the schematic. After 45 minutes and ~7 ACUs spent, zero components were placed on the canvas.
- When asked to "build the power supply section," Copilot replied: "I can't execute that whole section in one shot" and demanded atomic steps.
- When given atomic steps ("Add a 2-pin terminal block for J1"), Copilot replied: "I can't directly place J1 from this chat runtime."
- Even Copilot's own "Generate implementation prompt" feature produced a prompt that Copilot itself couldn't execute.
- The Schematic editor's Chat has the same limitation — "execution tools not available in this runtime."
The marketing says "Design PCBs with AI" and "From idea to schematic." In reality, the AI is a text advisor that tells you what to do but cannot do it. It's like hiring an architect who describes walls and doors but refuses to pick up a pencil.
For the same project, KiCad (free) or EasyEDA Pro (free) would have been far more productive. I cannot recommend Flux.ai for any project beyond the simplest LED-blink boards.
Plan: Starter (Pro Free Trial)
Project: Industrial liquid level controller, 10 schematic sheets
Test date: March 2026

Avoid at all costs
Signed up for the free trial and disabled auto renewal. It autorenewed anyways and charged me $15. I decided to give the tool a try since I had paid for it already. A single prompt used all my credits and without warning charged me another $26. I asked for a refund and they refused to give me one.
I urge everyone with a bad experience to contact the competition bureau with a complaint, what Defy Gravity Inc. (Flux.ai) is doing violates consumer protection laws. As of writing this review there are 16 other one star reviews which mention deceptive business practices.

To begin with
To begin with, the product sounded genuinely promising. That’s why I engaged with it in good faith under what was presented as a free trial.
But what followed is unacceptable.
I was hit with a $50 charge in "AI credits" used IN A FREE TRIAL!
This wasn’t just unexpected—it was alarming. The distinction between a fixed subscription and usage-based billing was not made clear in any meaningful way.
I need to be very direct about my situation.
I am a pre-revenue startup founder. I do not have disposable income. I am currently struggling to cover basic living costs, including food. If that $50 charge had gone through on an active card, it would not have been an inconvenience—it would have had a real, immediate impact on my ability to eat.
That is not a minor billing issue. That is a system failure in how costs are communicated and enforced.
A free trial should not carry the risk of silently converting into a significant financial charge, especially through mechanisms that are not clearly understood by the user at the point of entry. This kind of structure disproportionately harms people in exactly my position—those trying to build something from nothing.
I accepted the idea of a modest, predictable subscription. I did not consent to, nor was I adequately informed about, an additional $50 in usage-based charges.
This needs to be addressed immediately.
I've put two stars because I think this programme has great potential. I want to be sold, it's It looks amazing. The features, in theory, are incredible, but just severely unacceptable billing.

I never authorized this payment. I had clearly opted out before any charge could apply. This is unacceptable and I am requesting a refund.
Be very careful with your payment details if you sign up — make sure to document every cancellation step.
Edit: Flux.ai issued a full refund quickly. I’m leaving the original post up as a heads-up for others.

They stole money from my account
Follow up review 03/09/26: I gave two more stars based solely on their response. If extra charged items, such as Co-Pilot credits, are so easily overlooked, a revamp of the presentation should be pursued. There's still no way I'd recommend the platform, though. There's definitely potential, so maybe one day.
First Review 03/04/26: They stole money from my account. All I signed up for was a trial. I didn't upgrade anything, yet they stole money from my account. I didn't upgrade anything because their system is absolute trash. Nobody should waste their time or money on flux.ai.

Super quick and easy refund
Didn't realize I had accidentally signed up to a plan. Messaged their customer support AI and it was smart enough to immediately recognize I needed a human for this situation. As soon as Eli (the human support) read my message, he refunded me immediately

Delivered a Working PCB and Unblocked Project Delivery — Great Community Support
The Flux team have clearly worked hard to deliver not only a great browser based PCB design tool that cuts through the noise, but a great community for genius level hardware designers and newbies alike.
Their focus on community has definitively paid off, as plenty of great folk are willing to help you along the way. If you need something - just ask.
The AI Tooling is immature as it stands, but it's worth considering that there are few tools attempting this and having a realistic expectation is important. I've had mixed results however I think with time it will become a useful addition.
Flux has managed to help me deliver a PCB project from inception to delivery. I am not a hardware engineer. It makes me _feel_ like one.
