Just be honest with your rep about your situation and the funding amount you are looking for. Everything is relationship building. That’s what Rob did by getting to know my situation and we were able get the program that was the best fit for me. Good example: When I first reached out to Rob, I probably sounded like I needed the longest term possible, smallest payment, etc. Of course, when he came back with exactly that and I looked at the total interest I had to pay back. I actually hesitated, Rob looked at my cash flow and analyzed my situation and thought I probably only needed the money for a shorter term than I think. With the cash flow my business had, I could handle a bigger daily payment and pay less in interest overall and re-borrow if I needed to. So far very good experience, but do be prepared to do some work. They can’t just give us the money without putting our efforts to gather what they need. I hope this it will be easier each time.
