I have two dogs, both are fed mainly on raw meat but the young labrador has a more sensitive tummy and so I have now split his food into half Forthglade cold pressed and half raw and his tummy is now settled and he is doing very well on the mixture. I have also put my older dog on the same mixture and she too is enjoying it. The cold pressed food is really convenient for travelling too.

Please stop asking for reviews about the taste of this food- I’m not a dog. My dog seems to really like it and it arrives quickly- so I’m willing to pay a slight premium, but I have no idea what it tastes like!

Our dogs did not take to this cold pressed food. It is very a hard and dry texture indeed. Well beyond crunchie. They clearly did not enjoy the texture at all. I added it over a few days. But then reverted to their old food as they clearly disliked the texture and began eating around it.

Our Airedale pup (that generally loves all food) really did not like this at all (duck). The appearance of the pellets is enough to put any dog off let alone the hard texture, lack of any smell and anything that would otherwise excite the dog to eat them. We were genuinely shocked that the claims made for the food quality are represented, in real life by these unpalatable, uninteresting, hard pellets. Even adding moisture to the pellets did nothing to encourage our dog to try them. Sorry, but my dog deserves better than this. However, I cannot fault the customer service who advised on the returns and refund. I suppose you don't how your dog will react to the food until you try... Thank you.

Forthglade food is fantastic. Spaniels sometimes have funny tummies but Forthglade has completely suited my dog and she thrives on it. Her coat is shiny and healthy and she LOVES mealtimes

We are still on the changing over to Forthglade but so far our dog is enjoying the food. Eating her dinner as soon as it's down (she used to ask for her food but would walk away - now she asks and then eats!). It's still early days but early signs are good.

Transitioned my boxer onto the cold pressed dry food from raw, he's took to it really well. The price even after the initial discount is very reasonable. No complaints at all.
