I was extremely pleased with the service provided by David Vaughan at Fortress Fire Door Specialists.

David visited my apartment to assess a fire door that had previously been identified as requiring remedial work. Rather than recommending an expensive replacement or removing the door frame, he carefully assessed the door against the required tolerances and determined that it could be brought up to standard with a simple adjustment.

He explained exactly what he was doing, showed me that all the materials he was using were approved for fire door compliance, and gave me complete confidence in his approach. David also explained that he is a qualified fire door assessor and works to the same standards as the assessor who had originally inspected the door.

On completion, he took photographs of all the work carried out and sent them to me for my records, which was extremely helpful and provided reassurance that the work had been completed correctly.

David was friendly, professional, efficient, and, by taking a practical and knowledgeable approach, probably saved me a considerable amount of money.

I would have no hesitation in recommending David and Fortress Fire Door Specialists and would certainly use their services again.
