Francesco Hair Salon Avis 

I have been coming to the Bodmin Avenue, Stafford salon for a few years ago after being quite upset about the state of my hair after illness. I have my cut with Becky the owner and with colourists (now Ben) for some time. I always come out really pleased and always enjoying the experience. All staff are lovely and Becky can always tell my health by my hair. I would recommend 100% and even though i travel to the salon as i dont live close, i would always go back to the same place even if we moved, my trust is that good and they always keep the tea coming as i drink a gallon lol

I've been going to Francesco Hair Salon for a while now, and I honestly can't recommend them enough.

The whole team are so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is lovely. I've always found going to the hairdressers quite anxiety-inducing, but this is the first salon where I've genuinely felt comfortable and relaxed from the moment I walk through the door. It's such a friendly, down-to-earth environment, and everyone makes you feel at ease.

Jade does my colour, and she's absolutely fantastic. She always listens to what I want, gives honest advice, and I completely trust her. My colour is always exactly how I hoped it would be.

I've also had other members of the team wash and style my hair, and every experience has been brilliant. Nothing ever feels rushed, and everyone clearly takes pride in what they do.

If you're looking for a salon where you'll leave with great hair and actually enjoy the experience too, I'd highly recommend Francesco Hair Salon. Five stars from me!

New to the area and booked cut & blow dry with Jade at a Stafford salon. Kept waiting until 15 mins after my appt time for my hair to be washed by member of staff, then left another 5 mins just sitting waiting for Jade. She spent less time cutting my hair than drying and styling. Back was such a mess with straggly bits of different lengths, I had to get it put right by another hairdresser a few days later. Maybe if I had long hair it would have been a different experience - all staff and customers I saw had long hair. Won't be returning.

I went in there for my appointment scared as I’ve never had bangs before and the other person I saw in this branch isn’t on the website anymore, and Lacey was so sweet and reassured me, asking for my opinion on length and how wispy I wanted my bangs. She also went through the best ways to style my hair. She was so lovely and easy to chat to. Very good service :)

Cried for hours and dreaded going to work, it’ll take 6 months for it to grow

I'd be very careful going here, they ended up charging me twice for a service and I had to jump through so many hoops to get a refund. You could tell that the care and attention just wasn't there, in terms of the service, cleanliness and dated facilities.

If I could give minus stars I would. I agreed a style with the stylist, who, having looked at my hair should have realised my fine straight hair would not hold the shape. By the time I had walked 100 yards to my car, my head looked like a dish mop. I have washed and tried to style it, but it lacks shape, and looks like it was cut by a 5 year old.
I should really go back, but there is no way I’m going near the place again.

I had an exceptional experience at Francesco in Westbourne. Maise created a beautiful, seamless balayage that looks both natural and radiant, while Anthony perfected the cut and style with precision and creativity. Booked online paid in full. On the day of my appointment my son had an accident so I was in A&E. I contacted the salon the next day and they told me I have lost my money as didn't turn up to the appointment. This was after I explained what happend with my son. After I complained I was advised the stylist had agreed to refund me £17 - I told them to keep it and I wont be using you again. No compassion just money hungry!

This was my second visit today for a cut and blow dry with Claire . She is absolutely brilliant !!!. I have thick wavy hair so difficult to cut ,not a problem to Claire. I am so pleased with the cut .
The salon has a lovely welcoming and relaxed feel .Had a lovely coffee I would highly recommend a visit.

I went to the Winton salon but was very disappointed with my experience. I wanted a really good cut on my hair so I went with the most expensive stylist thinking that they would be experienced. Although nice enough she really did not seem to know what I wanted despite explaining thoroughly. She did not seem to know how to layer my hair and whilst she did cut my hair to the length I wanted, after I got home and looked again the ends were uneven and I have ended up with a pretty standard generic bob. There is no way that this stylist is worth £70! she seemed very basic and I wasn't given or offered a head massage. I will not be complaining but I will not use them or any of their salons again as they are clearly overcharging for underqualified stylists.

Scarlett in the Shrewsbury salon really listened to what I wanted, and gave my hair a lovely shape and style. Staff at the salon generally very welcoming and friendly.

This was a visit to the salon to enquire about pricing for hair colour services.
The receptionist was not very friendly and helpful.
She quoted me prices for hair colour which were overpriced and not at all competitive or realistic. When I mentioned how expensive it seemed up to other quotes in the City, she replied "Well, that's the price"
I was quite shocked the way in which she addressed me and her manner was certainly not was expected.
I had been a customer over a year ago but due to not being able to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame, I decided to find another salon.
I returned today with hope that things had changed but in fact it appeared worst.
It's such a shame after having a positive experience and great results previously.
I would not recommend the salon anymore as it appears more for training purposes than a salon which the receptionist confirmed.

I had a very disappointing experience at Franchesko Salon in Bournemouth- Westbourne during my visit in March. I booked an appointment for a toner and root treatment but was charged for a full balayage instead, which was not what I had requested or agreed upon. When I called to express my concern, I was met with rude and dismissive behavior from the receptionist, who claimed to be unaware of the situation.

Today, I spoke with the manager, who was not only unhelpful but extremely unprofessional. He rudely told me not to return to the salon and falsely claimed to have sent me an email that I never received. Despite my willingness to pay for the services rendered, the manager refused to address the issue or offer a solution.

As per consumer law, I am entitled to a service that matches what I was promised. Franchesko Salon is legally obligated to either fix the problem or refund me the money I was overcharged. I am now left with a hair color I am unhappy with and have paid more than I was quoted, all while being treated poorly throughout the process.

I would not recommend this salon due to their lack of professionalism, poor customer care, and failure to meet legal obligations.

Used Francesco three times in the past 12 months and I don’t know if they have dumped me as a client or if I have dumped them 😂😂

1st App - I turned up on the day of the appointment to find out the hairdresser hadn’t turned up for work, manager apologised and advised that no one else was able to carry out the service that day, after travelling 35 mile round trip for a skin test afew days before and to then to travel another 35 miles on the day it was not the best service, the salon explained they couldn’t call me as I was the hairdressers first client of the day, and they had only just found out themselves the girl wasn’t coming up that day which I understood, FG kindly compensated me at my next appointment for the wasted fuel and time.

2nd App - During the consultation I was pushed into having a root tap that I said I didn’t want on two occasions during the consultation, it looked nice for a few weeks but now I have an extra band of colour in my hair, overall lovely looking for a few weeks but now it looks really grown out, which I explained was my main concern. Also when I booked to have the service I was quoted one price but got charged a higher price at check out.

3rd App - Decided to change to another Francesco Salon, great service when booking in, they explained to come in for a skin test and a consultation which was booked in a few weeks before my appointment, I was advised they would take a clipping of my hair to ensure the bleach was suitable for my hair type and that I would hear back shortly if not, 7 days later received a phone call to advise my hair wasn’t suitable for the bleach they use, no explanation to why, as had my hair coloured at another Francesco branch the previous two occasions, sadly the call took me off guard, no explanation why, had the previous two colours at FG done damage to my hair ? The receptionist advised they wouldn’t be able to carry out the colour service, no explanation and no alternative options offered just a simple no we can’t colour you’re hair. Due to this my appointment was cancelled, but why did this take 7 days to tell me.

I have since gone back to another high end salon who have managed to do my hair with no issues.

I visited Stafford academy were I spoke to molly who advised me about my hair. I booked in with Molly who is extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic hairdresser. My hair has never looks as fantastic as it does. I’m now a regular with Molly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else .

I went to the Lilliput salon for a few weeks while my hairdresser was poorly.
Had a very warm welcome & chat about what I was after.
My blow dry was exactly how I wanted it!
The salon itself is lovely & all the staff there including Mia & Caroline who blow dried my hair are very friendly.
They listen to what you say and produce fantastic results!

This is a lovely restaurant. Lovely staff and the food it's really good. So get yourself their to taste for yourselves!

I have been going to see the wonderfully talented Gemma at Francesco Birmingham for years (Gem is so good that even though I live an hour away, I travel to get my hair looked after by her!). All of the stylists always come across as very friendly, and the salon has a nice chilled vibe. I think you can tell I 110% recommend these gals and guys. Thank you Gem and team for continual fab service. 🙏🏽❤️
