The cups are not holding heat. Don't bother buying it. The ones I bought at Decathlon or Anaconda for much cheaper were more efficient. Very disappointing. I had bought 2 for my husband and I because I was very pleased with the bottles. I contacted the customers service to let them know that I wanted to return the cups because they were not keeping the drinks warm long enough and on top of that they were leaking-it stained one of my nice bag... The customer service though they could see that I had purchased several bottles as Christmas presents, did not accept to take back the cups. So I will not buy again. The drinking bottles are very good though. The bad review is for the cups and for the customer service

I bought a gradient water bottle for $55. Within FOUR DAYS the colour was significantly chipping off. I contacted them and was told, hey, you can still drink from it, hooray!! $55 for a bottle that starts deteriorating within days of arriving. They still won’t admit that it’s poor quality after constant back and forth. Never again.

I strongly advise against purchasing their water bottle. I had to discard two lids due to a flawed design that makes it impossible to thoroughly clean beneath the flip-top, allowing mold to develop. Despite trying every possible cleaning method and investing a lot of time, I couldn't resolve the issue. I deeply regret this purchase—it’s far from environmentally friendly. Very disappointed.

Bought three of the bottles for my daughters. They are v difficult to clean and the straw collected black mould easily. Had to throw away these bottles after 2 months costing over £100. Would NOT replace with this product. The design looks cool but not practical - would not recommend.

This product is so bad it doesn’t fulfil its single purpose of holding water - two lids now and it leaks whenever in my bag and not upright

$80 for a water bottle that can’t fulfill its basic function - you pay $80 because it’s fashion statement but f me Frank green - how hard is it to make a water tight water bottle.

Would defo hire their marketing team though as to sell this garage is truly impressive marketing.

Car cup holder doesn’t fit - the measurements provided would have fitted my car, unfortunately the item isn’t describing what’s actually sold - it’s in two tiers - second tier wider than what is advertised…therefore doesn’t fit. Then long winded emails to customer service where they try to defend their product not being advertised properly, then finally not being able to return as I’m not an AU customer.

Difficult to clean, doesn't keep drinks cold

Terrible quality, paint scratches off easily. We have water bottles that are 2+ years that look far better than 3 week old frank green bottles that have paint scratches. Frank Green support are refusing to admit this as a fault.

Sadly these bottles are a fashion item, and not made to last. Disappointing when my two girls used their savings to purchase a bottle each - that on the third use looks terrible. Scratched paint - and they were very careful and bought bumpers to go with them. Customer service is useless, seem to think it’s expected the paint will come away very quickly. We’ve had other branded bottles for years with no scratches. I would not recommend this product, or brand in general.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Frank Green. I purchased a 1L reusable ceramic water bottle for £48, which now has significant scratch marks and dents on it after using it for only 3 days. The bottle has not been dropped, mishandled or washed incorrectly. I contacted customer service with pictures of the bottle and asked for a replacement stating that I didn’t expect such an expensive product to become damaged after such minimal use. The customer service response was awful, extremely condescending as they told me “The good news is this doesn’t affect the functionality of your bottle in anyway!” I replied to them expressing how I was unhappy with this response, for them to say they are refusing to send me a replacement bottle because they are a company focused on sustainability and my bottle is still functioning despite the cosmetic damage.

I really wish I had’ve bought from another brand. These products are overpriced and terrible quality. They look beautiful, but this will only last for a day as they quickly become scratched and dented just from being in your bag with your other belongings. I would strongly advise anyone to not purchase from this company.

I was attracted by its design and eco-friendly concept. But bottle developed scuff marks after just a few uses, and the water had an unpleasant taste, even after thorough cleaning. Not impressed with the quality considering the high price point.

Purchased the push button ceramic reusable cup at the end of 2023 for £30 and have been battling with the metallic taste ever since. The so-called "innovative ceramic lining" that ensures your "coffee will taste like coffee (no nasty metallic flavoured water here)" is a farce. I cannot shift the odour. Hot soapy water, white vinegar, citrus cleaners, baking soda - I've tried it all. It makes my coffee taste metallic. The smell of coffee also lingers after use, despite being odour-resistant.

One positive though (earning it 2-stars) is that it genuinely is leak proof in my experience, I throw it in my bag beside my laptop with no issues.

I purchased the 1L Ceramic Reusable Bottle in Mint Gelato with the Flip Straw Lid... honestly it lasted a month. Everytime I drank out of the straw, it made a terrible squeaky noise and barely any water was coming through, and no amount of cleaning or adjusting of the straw or lid itself fixed it. I now just have a water bottle that I don't use due to the lid...
For £40... it's a huge waste.

I bought my daughter a Frank Green bottle for Christmas because I’ve had mine for three years, and it has held up incredibly well. Despite a few drops over the years, my bottle only has minor scratches and dents.
However, my daughter’s bottle didn’t live up to the same standard. Within a week of use, she accidentally dropped it from the kitchen counter, and the dent it sustained was significant, making the bottle look badly damaged.

It seems the quality of the materials has changed, and the durability isn’t what it used to be. For the price, I expected much better. I regret not choosing a Yeti bottle, as they’re known for their robust design.
When dealing with customer service and their manager they just kept repeating the same line, as if it was rehearsed: “our bottles are not indestructible when dropped and can be susceptible to dents, scratches, and other forms of cosmetic damage if this is to happen.“ It was as if they weren’t listening to anything I said about the product having a flaw for it to dent after such a small fall!

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing purchase, and I wouldn’t recommend it based on the current quality.

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing!
I bought a reusable ceramic lined coffee cup which is really expensive compared to most decent brands here in the UK (Chilly’s, Yeti etc) and it doesn’t retain any heat whatsoever! You have to drink what you made asap as it is stone cold very very quickly! It is not fit for purpose and Dean in the pointless “customer service” department is nothing short of condescending! Twice I have been told the following:
“As mentioned within the above email, a good way to check if the insulating layer is working is to fill the base with lots of ice and water and see if it develops condensation. If you notice this occurring please send through a photo of the condensation so we can make an assessment. Please note, as the lid is not insulated it's perfectly normal for condensation to form on top if the water is very cold.“
I know its not working, I even “preheated” the cup with boiling water before making my coffee to see if that would help & it didn’t!
Dean also said: “We don't guarantee a fixed length of time that the temperature of the beverage will be controlled”.
The lid design makes it very difficult to clean too! Paint has already chipped and have only used it twice!
In short, their cups are over priced and gimmicky, not fit for purpose and customer service is pointless, unhelpful and sarcastic. Do not waste your money! Thankfully I purchased on my credit card so I shall try to claim the money back from them!

Within 2 days of use the paint was damaged and chipping off so now a very expensive drink bottle looks terrible. We have a Yeti which has lasted over a year without a dent or scratch. Additionally, the customer service language is quite condescending and they accept no responsibility for the poor quality of their product.

The push button lid does not work, I had to get a replacement twice and for the price, I would not buy it again. Kmart has better bottles than this.
The second time I had to resend the evidence of that it does not work twice because they can't even read the email history. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Purchased water bottle, mouthpiece is way too short and wide, makes drinking from it uncomfortable and noisy. Total waste of money - customer services non-existent.

I spent over $100 on your website, should I experience disappointment with the delivery of the goods? No! I ordered the water bottle as a Xmas Gift, and then it is sitting at the courier's depot for more than 10 days and I have not yet received it!!!!!!!!!!
I have contacted your customer experience team, guess what? 3 days later, nothing happened! I have to keep chasing up the courier company to locate my parcel and they keep telling me to let their delivery team to deliver it urgently! That was 5 days ago!!!!! I'm requesting a refund, you guys go and find your missing parcel, it should not be my job to find my order which you should have made sure it is delivered to me!!!!!!

Dreadful customer service. The website is awful to use. Be aware that they sell a travel cup in a “regular” size. Unfortunately, there are 2 different sizes of “regular” so it’s easy to order the wrong one. Customer service won’t do anything because I got it monogrammed. I’ll be sticking to Chillys from now on (their products are higher quality as well). We’ve had Chillys bottles last for years and they are very hard wearing. The Frank Green ones look a mess after 2 months (scratches/dents etc).

UPDATE

The coffee cup leaks everywhere. Poor products, overpriced, and poor customer service.
