Took a few days to get adjusted correctly and figure out how to walk with it. But now I walk everywhere. Only thing I don’t like is the rubber foot on the bottom has a slit in the top. I wear my freedom leg to feed animals outside in corrals and that slit fills up with dirt.

Great leg brace!! Despite having unusually thin thighs, the brace fit well and was very comfortable. It was easy to walk in it and definitely it is an enormous aid to mobility. Very high quality construction as well. Customer service was excellent. We returned the brace for reasons unrelated to the brace itself, and the return process was smooth and easy. FYI many insurances cover this as a medical device - please check with them!

I had an ankle arthrodesis in early November and the first 4 weeks were brutal. I was told 12 weeks of non-weight bearing was minimum. I am very active and immobility doesn’t work well for me. I came across the Freedom Leg and decided to ask my surgeon if I could try it. He told me yes and to let him know so he can refer others. It arrived very quickly. I’m delighted that I decided to get this equipment. It’s easy for me to use. I’m able to go up and down stairs and can carry items in hand. I can also bend down, walk nice distances and resume daily activities without major limitations. If I could change one thing it would be the uncovered velcro pieces that stick to clothing. I ruined a pair of my favorite leggings but it is what it is. Highly recommend!

Our 15-year old son broke his tibia in jiu jitsu and had to have emergency surgery. The doctor said no weight-bearing for six weeks, which sounded like an eternity. I showed him Freedom Leg and they were agreeable to trying it.

At week two our son felt comfortable enough to give it a shot. He took to it almost immediately and is going on two weeks with it now. It is great to get him out and about, socializing with friends again and he even was able to get to the chiropractor for an adjustment.

I submitted for insurance reimbursement but even if that is denied, this is an affordable solution to improve quality of life dramatically during recovery.

This brace is the best! Think of it as the superior alternative to using crutches.
I am an active, 60 year old lady who is 5’2, who just had foot surgery and will be off my foot (non-weight bearing) for at least the next 2 months. I used a scooter, not the Freedom leg for the first 2 weeks because things needed to heal first and I fell over a least three times on the scooter (hurting my surgery area in the process).
But once I started wearing my Freedom Leg 3.0 I have had no problems. I can walk up and down the stairs, do laundry, vacuum, do dishes, etc. I do use a cane when walking long distances or difficult situations like the stairs or crowds) going into the yard or getting into the car while my husband drives me. It is slippery on a wet floor. I found this out while steam mopping the floor with it, so be careful. I love this thing and highly recommend it!! I have actually felt comfortable going to Costco on a Saturday and to a crowded dinner reception with it on.
I do recommend you get it before your surgery if at all possible. That way you can adjust it to fit correctly before the real event AND you can practice walking with it with confidence before you no longer can. I found that to be a huge benefit for me and my situation. Also, after I got it, I had two questions about the product at two different times before my surgery and when I called they were always available and helpful. During my first visit to my foot doctor after surgery he asked me about it. He had not heard of it. At my second visit the doctor said they were so impressed that they are recommending it to other patients. And as I walked out of the building another one of his patients just stared at it in wonder and asked what it was and where to get it cause thats what she needed, lol. She was on a knee scooter. Yes, I truly recommend this thing. Also, I don’t EVER use social media but I wrote a review on the Freedom Leg 3.0 because it has changed my life for the better for the last few weeks while I heal. They send you a item but it didn’t work for me they have a no questions ask policy if you call to return it within 14 days we were calling every day multiple times a day didn’t get an answer till multiple days later we returned the item in perfect condition now 4-6 weeks later we still haven’t received a refund
