Freestyle Vinyl Avis 6

I'm a music guy, have been my whole life. Playing music, doing live music, running sound at gigs, recording music and most importantly listening to music. I also happen to be a vinyl guy. All in I'm thousands into my collection outside of audio equipment. When I came across this service I was thrilled. My package arrived and I tore into it minutes after it was delivered. Looks amazing. The records noticeably more squared and the vinyl itself looks stranger than your typical vinyl record. As I sat the needle onto the record it all became.. Well noticeably NOT clear. There's a card included in the package stating it may be "more noisey and distorted" boy that'd be the understatement of the year. Absolutely unplayable, quiet, 80% noise, sounds like it was cut with a dull butter knife while aboard a metro train in Chicago. Stereo image of a tornado. BUYER BEWARE

Sound quality was EXCELLENT. I provided some files from my own recordings as well as files I purchased. Figured it'd be 'ok' but really is amazing. I couldn't recommend this service enough!

The record came and had garbage sound quality - it also skips over tracks. We paid extra to get it in time for an event with our very limited band fund. When we tried to explain to David what the record sounded like to us (It sounded super compressed, as if someone applied a limiter) and asked if he could help us get another one that works in time for the event - he was extremely defensive and condescending and lacked empathy to our situation. He basically said we should have just know that a lathe-cut record would not sound like the wav files we sent as everyone knows that apparently - even though his website is covered with guarantees about sound quality. See screenshots of convo. After talking it over with the band we decided it wasnt even worth trying to send it back for assessment - as its clear it would be a waste of our time with that guy. We had a friend of a friend in the area that came through ans was willing to actually listen to it and hear our concerns and was able to come up with a version that didn't sound horrendous. We are suppose to look out for each other in the music industry as we are all out here trying our best - David could try and remember that.

They charge HELLA fees, don’t tell you where it’s coming from, then if you don’t pay their absurd fees they just cancel the order on you leaving you dry having waited several days and now missing deadlines of when you were supposed to have it…

Excellent customer service, and a great sounding record. Really made for a great Christmas present!

Recording sounded like a cat straining to have a shit. Avoid this lot like the plague, paid a lot of money and now they don't return calls or emails, absolute scammers..
