Delivery all got here in one piece (unlike other subscriptions I've used) the food is packaged in compostable trays and is really easy to cook. The food is super tasty without being over spiced (again like other subscriptions) and the portions of fish/prawns you get is excellent! Am definitely keeping the subscription going after this first delivery!

Save me time , nice quality

The delivery was done well and arranged on time. The package was prepared amazingly, with all 24 meals correctly given with ice included to keep the food chilled! All the food tasted delicious, loved the Thai Basil Beef and Prawn Panang Curry!

Received my first time order last week. I was sceptical at first but have not been disappointed.
The meals are so appetising, very tasty and filling.
Very surprised at how much food was in one portion.
Really pleased and looking forward to receiving my 2nd order.

The meals are excellent. Have tried a few different meal prep services, these are by far the best. Highly recommend.

The meals are all great but I would really like more vegetarian options and not processed fake meat and tofu but beans and greens and pulses etc.

Had an issue with a missing delivery but James at customer service was an absolute star helping with booking a new delivery and arranging a refund. Thanks so much for your help!

IMO the meals aren’t the best. Looks all mushed together on arrival very unappealing. Use cheap meat, mainly chicken thighs with most of the meat looking grey in places. I would prefer to pay more and have all meals breast meat. As usual with all prep companies, over loaded with herbs and spices to disguise the poor quality ingredients. Thank god I ordered with a discount code as I won’t be re ordering. I also didn’t realise it was lions prep re-branded. I had a bad experience with them a couple years back where my first order arrived with half the meals open and leaking. Wouldn’t have bothered in hindsight. Ending thoughts, if your used to more premium produce I wouldn’t bother ordering from frive.

I haven’t got time to keep chasing this, to be honest.

The pause period isn’t long enough and the whole cancellation process is confusing. I was already charged nearly £100 before, so this time I made sure I cancelled it properly — I even screen recorded it — and it clearly showed my next delivery was cancelled.

I was told I’d hear back within 24 hours and, as usual, nothing.

It just feels like my time doesn’t matter here, but yours clearly does. I’m busy and don’t have time to keep going round in circles over something that should be straightforward.

I want this sorted — either refund what’s been taken or send the food that was paid for. If this isn’t resolved quickly, I’ll be raising a chargeback through my credit card.

Amazing meals. Delicious. And so easy to prep. The only ready meals that I’ve not been able to fully eat due to the volume of food in each meal.

Keeps me feeling fulling and good. Would 100% reccomend!!!

Prawn Masamala is a game changer!

I’ve been really impressed with Frive meals. The food is delicious with a great range of choices, and the quality is consistently superb. I chose the extra‑protein range, which has been excellent and very satisfying.
The only downside for me is the website, which feels a little over‑fussy and not as user‑friendly as it could be. That said, the meals themselves more than make up for it, and I’d happily recommend Frive for the quality and variety alone.

I wanted to come back and update my experience because the way this was handled in the end genuinely impressed me. After the issues I faced, I was personally contacted by George, the CEO of Frive, and Fiona, who both took the time to call me directly and sort everything out. That level of accountability and willingness to listen is something you don’t see often, and I really appreciate them being open to feedback and actually acting on it.

Since getting back on track with my deliveries, I’ve been consistently impressed with the quality of the meals. The food is not only really tasty but also clearly made with high-quality, organic ingredients. You can genuinely feel the difference compared to standard meal services.

What surprised me the most is how much better I’ve been feeling overall. The meals are noticeably healthier than my previous meal plan, and over time I’ve even seen improvements in how I feel day to day. My energy levels are more stable, and for some reason my skin and even my eyes feel clearer and better, which I didn’t expect from just changing meals.

It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and, now, the customer experience as well. Big thanks again to George and Fiona for stepping in and turning things around. That kind of response really builds trust.

Overall, a great service with high-quality, healthy, and genuinely enjoyable food.

Roa was awesome and fixed my missing credit issues super fast. Even though I've had a few problems with the packaging lately, the customer service is great and they always make sure everything gets sorted.

Had a subscription, found the food decreased in quality and was not worth the money. The last straw was when they sent me 10 apple pies for no reason, for free? I suspect they were trying to shift surplus stock. Interesting manoeuvre since one of my selected "personal goals" was to lose weight. (????)

This isn't even the funniest thing, mind. Imagine my shock when, upon cancelling my subscription, they had the gall and the gumption to *send me an invoice* for said 10 apple pies. Absolute high jinks. It was not settled, needless to say.
