Challenging but Rewarding
I am new to coding but have learned a ton since starting at FES. The 24 hour resource is fantastic and everyone is very helpful. There are a lot of places you can learn code, and honestly you should use as many resources as you can. But what sets FES apart is the availability to have personalized help at all hours of the day. They will also help you build a career path and meet your specific needs.

An Excellent Program for Building a Real Frontend Portfolio
FES has been awesome! I’ve been in the program for about two months now, and it has been fast-paced and incredibly engaging. I love how the courses dive straight into the coding world with hands-on projects.Coming from a computer science background, I truly believe hands-on projects are the best way to excel in software engineering fields, and I can confidently say that FES has been nothing but hands-on—that’s exactly why I signed up.For anyone looking for real-world experience, challenging real-world scenarios, and the opportunity to build an awesome portfolio while developing strong frontend skills, I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to continue building my skills and land a job!

The Mentors are what make this program great!
The Mentors are what make this program great.
At first I was a little skeptical about shelling out the cost for this course, but after doing some research, I decided to take the risk. Initially, I found the videos pretty good. David is quick but detailed (so much so that I often have to go back and re-watch certain segments over and over to understand what he did). But you can find pretty good videos for free on YouTube. What makes this program stand out from all that is the Mentors! There is someone online 24/7. I'm in Greece, so even in my time zone there is someone always around, day or night. Usually they respond very quickly. They are real pros.. clearly excellent at programming. They have always been able to debug my mess of a code and help me understand what I was doing wrong. They are always pleasant and helpful, and very encouraging. The ones I clicked with the best were Batool, Khosro and Gibson. They have always been exceptionally detailed and clear in their explanations and have made it easy for me to understand the concepts behind my errors... but the others are excellent as well! Adriana, Victor, Mohamed and others.. I don't overlap with those as often time-wise, but they are equally helpful. I am nearing the end of the course, and I feel that I owe my progress so far mainly to them. Thank you, Mentors!

David must have forgotten where he came…
David must have forgotten where he came from. If he started out broke and pour why in the hell is he charging so much in the first place. Anyways, the course is way harder than advertised and I would not have confidence going into a job with what I learned. No way. So I got another job. My mother past away and I had a lot of expenses. My credit was a 1 until fes. Started racking up late payments. The agreement was front-end simplified gets me a six figure job I pay them 10k I have the six figure job without them. The other half of the is if they didn't they pay me double the 10k. SO THEY OWE ME 10K OR GET THIS STUPID CHARGE OFF MY CREDIT.

An amazing way to learn Frontend Development.
My journey with Frontend Simplified has been a rewarding and fulfilling experience thus far. I must say that my understanding of Frontend Development has increased significantly, and it's all thanks to the able way the team at Frontend Simplified has facilitated this growth. The team has been such a tremendous help; without them, learning Frontend Development would not have been satisfying. When I started out as a beginner, I had zero knowledge of coding, but where I'm at now, my skills are far more advanced, ready for what lies ahead in the 'exciting World of Frontend Development'. I would, especially, like to give credence to the founder and main presenter, David Bragg, who, through his tutorial videos, has 'walked' me through the different technology stacks required for a successful Frontend Developer step-by-step. From HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and even some backend. The projects that David has had me work on in the course have given real-world hands-on experience, widening my scope and reinforcing what I have learnt as a software developer. I would definitely recommend Frontend Simplified to anyone seeking to learn Frontend Development. It will be made simplified, yet challenge you to grow as a software developer.
This course genuinely changed my life ❤️
I first took this course when I was 18. I had just quit school and ended up stuck in a Spanish customer-service job. That experience made me realise I needed to level up fast. I started looking for something better, and one day I stumbled on a TikTok video from David Bragg. I tried the two free lessons, and they hit different. I took the risk, bought the full course, and even though I only finished about 50% of it, I pushed myself to self-study the rest.
Fast forward: it took about a year, but I landed a job — and not even a junior role, a mid-level one. That alone shows how much of an impact David’s teaching had on me. He strips away all the unnecessary jargon and focuses only on what you actually need to learn. And his line, “If I can, you can too,” genuinely motivated me.
Because of the confidence I gained, I also went back to school and finished a “four-year” course in six months. Now I’m 21, writing this while on vacation on an island, able to work from anywhere and build things that make users’ lives easier.
PROs/CONs
PROs: Very attentive, very helpful, very informative.
CONs: IT MAY JUST BE ME, but I'm a fairly "quick" learner, but I am having a considerably difficult time "knowing" what some of the assignments are without a massive amount of help. I've watched/re-watched the videos for the assignments MULTIPLE times, and still the same clueless look seems to remain on my face. So, it's hard for me to criticize when there's so much that's a real value-add, but I feel like an idiot in some cases... a fairly rare occurrence for me. (I graduated with honors from the university decades ago, so one might at least HOPE I'm not a complete dolt.) I would've LOVED to have given a five-star review, but that's what's keeping me from doing so.
David is EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and is quite a good instructor. That said, he's SO good that he moves quicker than my mind, fingers can type, process the information stated, etc. To be sure, I used to teach piano, and I had similar "criticisms" from my students, so I "get" it: when YOU are competent with something, you just presume everybody else is, too... and you don't want to be condescending for those that don't need the extra sinews to connect the information in one's head. I presume the majority signing-up for this course are very familiar with programming/languages, etc., so it's MUCH easier for them. I don't have that background, so maybe THAT is the issue. And, I don't want to criticize David for my ineptitude. LOL.
FES review
The courses were informative, and the structure was organized for learning. The content was good and straightforward, and I am excited about the internship opportunity that they offer for real-world experience. This bootcamp is helpful if you are looking for a structured frontend course.

Frontend Simplified Experience
What has made this experience very fun and eye-opening to me is that you're always learning. Is it complicated at times? I would say yes. But thanks to the constant support system the platform provides, it's something that you find yourself accustomed to doing within a couple of months. And eventually, you're able to do it with minimal help. Though that really depends on how fast you understand and learn. And I had no coding experience at all, the most I did before then was help my mom with a similar code structure she did, and that was what led me to do the bootcamp. Even then, once you get the basics down, you're practically flying by on some of these projects. And there's also very many useful resources that you can save for your reference, as well as several other sources that give you instructions. While JavaScript was and still is the hardest thing for me personally to grasp, it's still rewarding to me once I accomplish something with JS. This bootcamp is very fun, very information, and something that I would recommend as long as you understand that it does take up time.
You're also not always going to get everything right away, but that's okay, the support system is very patient and helpful (especially if you're a beginner like I was!). Not to mention, that mistakes are common, and they always ensure that you know this. I myself made lots of mistakes with previous projects, and they always reassure me it's okay. And that's the kind of support system I'm always down for. Props to every single person who has helped me get this far, even if I didn't always understand. I also love that they don't sugarcoat anything, they show and tell you what you're going to be doing once you land a job. Love this program, and I'm happy that I chose FES.
The Front-End Program That Got Me Confident
I recently started learning with Frontend Simplified, and I have to say — it’s been an amazing experience. The lessons are clear, practical, and focus on what really matters in front-end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and building real projects you can show off.
What I love the most is the support. Whenever I got stuck (and I did a lot!), the mentors were there to guide me patiently, and the community of learners is genuinely encouraging.
The fact that they offer a job-support program gave me a lot of confidence too — it’s not just about learning, they actually care about helping you succeed.
If you want to seriously get into front-end development and actually build skills that matter, this is the place to be.
I'm bedazzled by FrontEndSimplified
Before choosing Frontendsimplified I had filtered through numerous other programs offering the same and/or similar training in coding for various aspects of getting into the tech industry. I was getting pretty doubtful, a lot of pushy people out there trying to sell there program onto you and I wasn't being convinced. Then I stumbled across FES and I just got this feeling like I had to check it out. I got channeled to an interview with David, the main guy, and it was a true interview, not a sales pitch. He asked a lot of questions to vet me along with me vetting him. The whole time I just had a good feeling about it. It turned out to be a great conversation. I didn't buy in till the end when I asked myself how I was internally feeling about this program while still on the phone with David. I'll be damned, this is the first interview where I felt good about a certain coding course. I surprisingly committed right then and there on the phone.
I'm a true newbie, no prior coding experience to speak of. You're damn right I was nervous. I wasn't even sure what aspect of coding would fit me well with just starting out. Well I'm just over a month into the course and I'm loving it! They did one hell eva job designing and laying out this course. Very simple and easy to follow. The modules and lessons within the modules are very short and simplistic allowing for ease of comprehension. They truly take you step by step allowing for anyone to keep pace and not get lost. Yes, it's self paced, but that makes it very easy to get small segments or lessons accomplished, especially for someone with a busy schedule. Yes, the lessons within each module are truly small allowing for quick and easy completion. So you can have a multitude of lessons completed in a short period of time giving you that feeling like you're really making progress. So far, my perception is that the coursework is laid out well and is very efficient at moving you along with ease. I could go on and on, but I will end it there. Yes, I will highly recommend Frontendsimplified to anyone interested in learning coding for web design and more, even if you've never been exposed to coding before. But it doesn't end there, they offer Backend coding as well which leads into Full stack coding allowing anyone to have the skill set to build a website from the ground up; then nurture and grow that website into the future. I don't care what they say about the future with AI. AI will never replace intuition and the artistic expressive of a human being. People will always stay ahead and out perform AI with creative expression that dazzles the human mind.
Last, but not least, all of this review was generated by me, off the top of my head. No AI was used to create this review, in this day and age you have to be careful, lol. Tyler ;-)
"Leveling Up: A Hands-On Frontend Bootcamp Review"
I was skeptical at first, but thought, what the heck, I need to do something.
Went into FES with very little knowledge on web stuff, and I came out of it with so much! The mentors are great and always there to help out. It can be daunting, and take more time thatn it should, but it is worth it! Highly recommend!!
I’m having a pretty good experience…
I’m having a pretty good experience although, going in I had a different expectations. I found that I want the goal more so now, especially that I have so much invested. I need this that its a must to obtain the goal which helps with the “why” and the drive to get it done. The system works. You just have to invest more time than anticipated. You must stay Focused ,be resourceful and you will have progress. It is challenging! I definitely can’t lie about that! You must be dedicated. Some mentors will help you and others may challenge you. Be sure to have thick skin ,stay positive and strong. Keep your eye on the prize and things will start to come to you. Those who are reading this, I wish you success and strength. I Hope to work with you one day. Shout out to Kat one of the best mentors on staff! Always a pleasure!
So far I am loving the front end…
So far I am loving the front end simplified boot camp, even my boyfriend is impressed with how much I’ve learned so quickly. It was great to have a chance to chat with my mentor and understand how far I’ve actually come in such a short time as well as being able to ask about future projects
Kat solved my issues!
So Kat reached out to me, and asked me how my studies were going. I told her that I was having the toughest time working out how to use Github and push my files. Kat offered to call, we hopped on zoom, she took remote control access of my computer, and actually did some research to see what it is that I did wrong. She found out where I put my Github folder, and then explained to me every detail and steps along the way of how to fix the issue I caused. After this, she helped me learn how to use GitHub, and how to put my code on Github. I'm soooo grateful to Kat. I asked someone several weeks ago this same question and they just told me to watch the video again. Kat actually helped me and I felt like I was not alone. She even checked in with my emotionally and shared her ups and downs too. I feel so much more confident. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH KAT!!!
FES is truly that. Front End Simplified!!
The network of people that are very willing to help even with the self pace course. Its let's you know i am not alone. Creating mistakes is obvious for beginners and having someone help solve that and create habits in the right direction is ideal.
Great Program
I like how the classes are structured, and there's always help whenever you need it. It feels more like a class for school than a typical boot camp, and the community is supportive.
FES Bootcamp
I think the greatest thing about this program is the access to the support team 24/7. They are always there ready to help you however you need. They always check up on you to see if you need anything. There are also so many useful resources available on the site that you can pretty much find anything you're looking for. The structure of the program is easy to follow and as a beginner who had no previous coding experience, this is exactly what I needed as a roadmap. There's not really anything negative I can say about FES because they have literally been there every step of my journey to help get me where I want to be.
My First Month With FES
I am have been with officially being signed up FES for nearly a month now, and I have nothing but praise to offer them. The learning modules, support from the mentors, the live streams, the AI support chat, the learning resources they provide are all par to none and better than any traditional school or college I have attended. They teach you what is necessary, and prepare you for what to expect in the real world, not just pomp and circumstance. From my experience so far I would highly recommend FES to anyone serious about landing a job in Software Engineering, and looking for more than a fancy certificate to hang on the wall.. They provide that, but more importantly actual experience and an actual Job. That alone, plus the knowledge of a valuable skill in high demand, make FES uniquely situated above the rest as a learning institution.
An Outstanding Mentor Who Inspires Growth and Confidencengs…
I cannot say enough wonderful things about one of our mentors, Khorso. He truly embodies patience and kindness, always taking the time to walk me through challenges without ever making me feel rushed or overwhelmed. His depth of knowledge is remarkable, and he doesn’t just provide solutions to the snags I encounter, he goes above and beyond by offering additional insights and suggestions that open up new ways of thinking. What I value most is that he doesn’t just “fix” the problem for me; he takes the opportunity to train me on how to prevent similar issues in the future, empowering me to grow more confident and capable in my own abilities. Learning under his guidance has been an absolute privilege, and I am deeply grateful for his thorough, thoughtful, and supportive mentorship.
