Be very careful before signing this type of funding agreement.

In my experience, the contract terms were not clear enough, especially around early settlement. I requested settlement almost immediately, but was still asked to pay the full contractual repayment amount.

Other serious points businesses should note:
- restriction on taking other funding without consent
- the contract states a £3,000 default fee can apply if you take another loan without their consent and this leads to default issues
- the contract also includes an unauthorised indebtedness fee of 10% of the additional borrowing
- missed payment related charges
- service / administration fees
- lender control over payment arrangements
- poor communication and difficult customer support

My advice: get the early settlement figure, penalty structure, and consent rules confirmed in writing before signing anything.
