Funding Loop is UK nursery funding software that automates the entire funding application and council submission process for early years childcare providers. Unlike general nursery management systems, Funding Loop is built specifically for funding — handling the workflows that other platforms leave nurseries to manage manually. The platform integrates with all leading nursery management systems to import child and parent data automatically, eliminating duplicate entry. Parental Declaration forms are pre-populated and sent digitally, with parents able to upload supporting documents by photo and sign electronically — significantly improving completion rates and reducing the need to chase. Funding is calculated automatically based on each child's attendance schedule, including term-time and stretched arrangements, and split placements across multiple settings. Working parent eligibility codes can be checked in bulk, helping nurseries avoid rejected claims before submission deadlines. A real-time dashboard gives nursery managers full visibility of form progress at every stage, with one-click reminders for outstanding submissions. When claims are ready, headcount data is transferred directly into local authority portals — removing manual data entry entirely. The result is fewer errors, faster submissions, and funding that is protected rather than lost to avoidable admin mistakes.

Any setting/s that claims EY Funding should consider using this system no matter on the size of their business.
This system has made the process of ensuring funding forms are completed each term very quick and straight forward. Forms and other uploads are kept electronically making it easy to check yearly funding and providing local authorities with forms in the event of an audit.
The system is very easy to use and navigate and provides instant financial data on termly funding which is useful both for funding estimates and for financial reporting purposes.
The system also uploads information to portals saving hours of manual input and removes the risk of human error when transferring data.
Parents find the system quick and easy to complete and with the majority of the fields on the form already auto-populated with information already held on the management system and completed on previous terms forms.
If you do need help, the Funding Loop support is exceptional and very professional. You can rely on almost instant responses to any queries you might raise.
Funding Loop is a game changer when it comes to keeping on top of funding and the small cost per child is out-weighed by the number of admin hours saved.

Funding Loop - every nursery should have it
Funding Loop itself is an excellent portal and improvements are being made all the time. The customer service is fantastic and nothing is ever too much trouble.
John & Helen also listen to feedback and have made changes based on feedback. One of the best things to support early years funding in a long time.

Funding Loop has been amazing to use
Funding Loop has been amazing to use. It saves hours of time that would usually be spent collating parent declaration forms, manually inputting children into the LEA funding portals, making the whole process much more efficient.
I’m able to input children directly into the funding portals for both estimates and headcount with ease, online parent declaration forms, send reminders and messages, this has really streamlined our workflow.
Highly recommend to any nursery managing early years funding!

We have been using Funding Loop for over a year and have gradually rolled it out across all 14 of our nursery settings. It has completely transformed the way we manage funding across our group, making the claims process much more efficient while also providing parents with a simple and convenient way to complete forms digitally.
Funding Loop has helped us streamline our processes, save valuable time, and maintain compliance with EYF funding requirements. I would highly recommend it to any provider looking to simplify and improve their funding administration.
