Easy to order. Very quick delivery. The rug itself is lovely. I really like the cowboy print. It's very fun and a nice change from most other rugs which can be a bit boring. The rug seems very well made, and very good value for money.

Gallop rugs are super! Great value, quality rugs and very waterproof! They fit a wide range of horses/ponies too. Nice, generous fit around the shoulders and padding on the withers. Very adjustable too.

iously been a big fan of gallop rugs and have recommended them many times. Bought a rug in March this year which got little use at the end of spring before being put away until autumn. It’s a 100g rug and so only is used on milder days as my gelding is fully clipped. Less than 2 months after being back in occasional use the stitching on one of the chest straps completely came away and left the rug unusable. Contacted customer services and they could not care less. Other manufacturers give a warranty of between one and three years. Extremely disappointed and will not be buying again.

I reported this rug as letting in rain after a 5 hour period. Gallop won’t accept this is a fault with a response of ‘ The water would find its own level’, meaning it’s not 100% waterproof. Gallop Equestrian remain steadfast that this is not a fault. The rain had got up and under the neck cover and leaked through to the withers and started tracking down his back. The wet was visible on the inside of the rug.
I would recommend you spend a bit more and get a better product.

I have several Gallop rugs. Just changing from the navy with white horses to the heavier limited edition Christmas rug. Always a good fit and I love the colourful designs. Really love the what I call ‘Driving home for Christmas’ rug. Such a lovely design

Delighted with new Trojan Duraproof combo rug. Fits really well (15.2 cob / 6ft 6) and looks very smart. Dare I say I’m almost looking forward to winter to test out its extra ‘waterproofness’! It will be reassuring to know my horse is warm and dry.
