Gaminglight is Goated, between their community and content they have a lot to offer! Been a player for over a few years now and have always had tons fun.

I have played on gaminglight for years, and while garrys-mod has gotten less popular, the owner and managers are still working to make sure the servers are fun for the players. Despite what other reviews say on here, the owner is very responsive to requests but you have to reach out to let the management know there is an issue. I would still highly recommend trying gaminglight out

Personally, I love Gaminglight. I've been apart of Gaminglight for a while now and I can say that it's been worth it. I've met a lot of friends and good people that I can lean on and trust. The owner himself has helped me a lot and has put so much effort and work into this community, he is most certainly somebody to look up to. I would definitely recommend trying out and joining the community.

Jesus, I'm delighted to see this server Die. During my time here, the experience with players was okay, but the staff, like Nimo and others, have big egos. If they disagree with you, they will dismiss your opinion. Additionally, the owner doesn't care about the community. The only reason this server is still active is because of Ecott, who spent $50k on skins for Garry's Mod. Zeeptin has been disrespectful towards community members. Avoid this server at all costs, as there are only toxic individuals here. It's time for it to die off and stay dead .

hey owner, why not un ban a user that did absolutely nothing? and the amount of money that I spent makes me sick that I was banned for speaking out on how the server was "more active back in covid" which, it was dude, and I wasn't saying that to make you angry, but you need to grow up. I talked to you the way you deserved to, and its okay, I understand. but you really need to grow up. you cant just ban people off your communications server but not in the game because they cant do anything in game while they are banned in the discord.

I've been here for a couple of years and I can say, I made awesome moments with people, but it has to come to an end, because you are petty. I hope everyone reads this and doesn't feed money to this guy. il remove this if he messages me on discord, and actually talk to me unlike the first time, where he blocks me when he gets butt hurt. thanks for nothing, zeeptin, thanks for the $800+ spent on your server.

As a member of the Gaminglight Community since 2019, I have nothing but good memories about the PoliceRP server. The moderation, roleplay groups, and general 'feel' of the server delivers an experience like no other on Garry's Mod. It is safe to say that Gaminglight is one of, if not *the* best, Garry's Mod server communities.

A lot of content is available for general players, that is, a person can still have a very fulfilling experience without paying money. Not that I have anything against people who do, I've just spent too much money on gmod over the years (to the order of thousands of dollars) -.-

I love this community, it has a dedicated players and management. Any time I have had an issue it has been addressed and taken seriously and there is a great team that ensures that bugs are fixed quickly. Ive spent hours playing on this community and have had a blast.

Great experience room for emprovemnt as somethings make me go crazy on Gaming light servers.

While I've been within multiple gaming light servers from CWRP to PoliceRP to ImperialRP to CloneWars Life RP (Legit just a reskin of PoliceRP) to SCPRP I've noticed the same issues over and over again. I will lay each one out along with a way that they could be fixed if this company actually wishes to change its current way its going.

1. CWRP/IMPRP
I am going to put them together as they are basically the same but reskins of each other in all honesty. The Clone Wars RP was an alright server honestly enjoyed it but it become corrupt towards the end of its life time in which that killed the server sadly. They than opened up Imperial which was a fun server for the first few years but quickly become corrupt with inactive managers and even more inactive SMT/JMT who when they did get in game would abuse their power which ey I get it they worked up for that rank but at the same time if I am a new player and I hear the Head of Staff screaming at a player because something didn't go the way he wanted that would turn me off and I would run the other way. This could be fixed by actually holding the SMT/JMT to a standard this will become more apparent in this review as we go on. We will now move onto the officers/commanders within Imperial while some will be really nice and actually want to help you and make a group of people who work together you will have others that just want power or their friend groups to be in command. This is a big issue in this server specifically but is an issue in almost all of the gaminglight servers as it leads to where if you don't know the people you'll most likely not become an officer or even get the chance to be apart of them as they hide in VCs away from others.
I would say honestly Imperial and the CWRP that came before it are some of the most unwelcoming servers I've been to and honestly the best way to fix it is to reform it and remove the actions that have led to this being an issue.

2. PoliceRP/Clone Wars Life RP

Clone Wars Life RP was basically a copy of PoliceRP but with a Clone wars reskin on it not much really happened with it but it was a fun server if I am going to be honest wish that it stayed but ey.
PoliceRP which is the main server honestly it seems like nowadays is a far cry from what it was back in 2018-2020 when it actually felt like a roleplay server and not just a Dark RP with a police shell over it. This server over the years has decided to bring laser weapons and overpowered items which has broken the balance and honestly they don't seem to care they just add more and more broken bs or remove something that they say is OP and replace it behind the scenes with something that is ten times more powerful. That wouldn't be an issue if anyone could get it but thats not the case. "SMT" feels the need to have a No F*** Off Swep very classy guys but anyways that one taps people and you have no counter to it in which they bring that into RP situations a bunch and while you may say well they are SMT they prob aren't on a lot you would be correct. They aren't on a lot but when they get on they make players not want to play and just go AFK which adds to the player count that just already AFKs to get 1 free credit every 20 hours. This in all honesty is stupid as its using their hardware to get 1 credit which is about equal to 1 USD meanwhile they could for example do the same thing and try to mine bitcoin and would likely get a better investment but they also award staff for doing this as well as encourage department command members to do it for promotions or rewards. I will now go on to command members because I got a lot to say. Lets start with PD Command members from what I've seen its mostly a friend group of who knows who as in you won't get that rank no matter what they do. You could spend years going at it and someone who just joined might shoot up to Chief out of nowhere. I will quickly go over the Tactical Departments which are made up of SRT/DF/SWAT. I will mention some key members at-least from what I was playing still no idea on if they are still here but SWAT Commander Voxis/SWAT Captain Voxis was a guy who would use his power to blackmail others into if they didn't do what he wanted they would get demoted which normally did happen. We will now go quickly over a few SRT members and the lucky people in that is SRT Locus, SRT Mikey, SRT Kitty, SRT Scout, SRT Kevin, SRT Duncan everyone I have listed here is corrupt or I have seen act corrupt in some way during their time within SRT but they have been rewarded with SRT Command Ranks because they are either Staff or High Level Donators who basically paid their way into the inner circles.

Now Delta Force the department that is paid for completely and is just basically overpowered because someone had money.

3. SCPRP

I'ma just keep this short but SCPRP is now just DarkRP with a creepypasta attached to it it has sadly fallen from glory and honestly I miss the days they hit 100 ppl.

I mean it'll keep you busy but unless you have a short-lived time on the server planned out ahead of time, you won't last long with the owner; say anything remotely negative about the cashgrab he calls a "product", you'll get swept under the rug with everyone else over the years. You'll realize quickly why you see the same 40 people every day, those are the compliant ones.

They have 3 servers which basically cover all of the RP you can get on GMod, the support and staff are super friendly. There is almost always something to do on their servers and I myself have enjoyed it quite a bit for the past 2-3 years.

Its a amazing comunity where one can find people to make friends and roleplay, everything is very proffessional and great to be in

I’ve been apart of gaminglight since 2014 when the SchoolRP server came out and I’ve been Supportive towards anything that they have done towards this community.. I am currently doing imperialRP and I am loving the ImperialRP Server and the Roleplay scenarios It’s creative and authentic if you are looking for a community to be Apart of I highly recommend this community we always welcome everyone with open arms and we consider everyone like family.
