Gadget Centre Avis 

I recently ordered from the Gadget Centre a reconditioned Windows 11 OS laptop - I had no idea what to expect - but my specification request was for a new i7 processor along with plenty of RAM (16Gb) and good size SSD storage; plus a few other elements to make it a flexible but all-round usable item of kit. When it turned up as promised, I was absolutely delighted with what they had put together for me. It's exactly what I was looking / hoping for; i.e. the perfect size and specification required with a great overall look and finish to boot! It's fast with up to date software and also has a touch-screen which I wasn't expecting it to have - what a bonus. This great little laptop will I'm sure prove to be a really excellent replacement for my old obsolete and in-updatable Windows 10 laptop. Their order process is relatively simple to use, quite comprehensive and clever, and the delivery service was also spot on. As was the purchase price with a 12 month warranty included; I really couldn't have asked for more and the whole experience of buying from the Gadget Centre was really excellent as was the service before (i.e. asking some related questions etc) and after placing my order. Well done Gadget Centre, a brilliant job all round. Thank you.

I ordered a Laptop from them last Thursday, it arrived yesterday (Tuesday) within the time frame advertised. I asked for a Dell laptop & that's what they delivered.
It's like brand new & super fast. I've just discovered that the screen is a touchscreen too. The wireless mouse that I ordered is great too!

Purchased a laptop from Gadget Centre on a colleague recommendation for home use due to the fact that we were all being made redundant & had to return our work laptops. Unfortunately this laptop has NEVER worked, won’t connect to the internet, (they sent me a WiFi dongle to try to problem solve the connections issue -but that just fried itself as soon as I plugged it in!) I even tried connecting with my router actually sitting on the laptop itself to no avail! it won’t open any pages, has software I’ve never seen or understand & continually switches itself off unless it’s plugged into the mains. I purchased a 3 year warranty & it has been back for repair, but I’ve never once been able to use it (admittedly I don’t profess to be an IT wizard-but I thought I’d be able just to switch it on, connect & use like my previous laptop). Whereas the customer support was professional (hence the 2* rating) & tried to be helpful & even said they’d installed Windows 11 (which also never worked!!) as a goodwill gesture during the repair period. The laptop is now gathering dust in a cupboard as a reminder of a very frustrating & expensive episode in my life 😔

I ordered what I wanted and had a very quick response explaining any delay that might occur as they built my machine. It arrived earlier than I expected, was really well packed and in a lovely new condition. It is more compact than I am used to and it took a couple of days of getting used to Windows 11 and migrating all my stuff from the old one but I am very pleased with what I have.

I was really pleased with my purchase. Less than £300 and all that I need. Came on time and well packaged.

Firstly, great customer service. Friendly & efficient - answered all questions professionally.
Decided to buy a 17" workstation and again got excellent guidance on the process.
However, when the machine arrived, I thought it was brand new, such was the refurbishment. It was fully loaded to my requirements and immaculate in appearance. I could not be happier and would highly recommend this company.

I was looking for a reasonably priced laptop for everyday use and GC was recommended by a friend. Like other reviewers I used the build tool on the site and when the laptop arrived I was pleasantly surprised that all was as expected. So much so that I later bought one for a family member as a surprise gift only recently.
I'd recommend GC for their laptops, warranty options and customer service, none of which I could fault.

Not impressed with product. The battery lasts about 90 minutes and the power lead doesn't connect properly. It has got so bad now that if it disconnects for no reason. The pointer drifts across the screen. I bought the product a few months ago but have only recently started using it extensively so the date I have given is not the date I bought it but the date I finally gave up with it. It is not completely unusable but not far off it. I bought a reconditioned HP from a local independent family company for £50 less and it is infinitely better.

Well chuffed with the new laptop. Lightweight slim machine that’s been cleaned to perfection and runs very fast. The textured matt vinyl lid and keyboard surround wrap is a fantastic touch and expertly fitted by someone who knows how to vinyl wrap exquisitely.

Had to wait two weeks, but it was stated on the confirmation email there was high demand, so no issues. I emailed to ask if I could have a smaller screen laptop, and they obliged fully. My laptop arrived yesterday and I couldn’t be happier. Fully refurbed. Looks and runs like new. Have installed Linux Mint on it and it runs like a dream.

My only criticism is the charger wasn’t recognised by the machine, but as the laptop also charges via usb c I already have a suitable charger.

Absolutely Brilliant - needed some advice as to what i needed to do the jobs, which was provided. New laptop arrived on time, perfectly set up. delighted with battery life, exceedingly quick too.

Ordered a laptop from Gadget Centre on April 19. Their estimated delivery was 4–10 business days, so I even contacted support to try and fast track the order. The 10th business day was already May 1, but the item was only marked as dispatched without any tracking number provided. When I raised my concern, support mentioned it may have been due to courier negligence. Maybe yes, maybe not — hard to know from a customer perspective.

When the laptop finally arrived, the power button needed around 10 seconds of continuous pressing just to turn on the unit. I returned it, and to their credit they immediately offered either a replacement or refund. I chose replacement because their overall reviews seemed good, and I believed my case might just be an isolated issue.

I sent the laptop back on Friday, they received it Monday, then advised they would “try” to ship within the week because they were very busy. By Thursday, after the long delay, I requested a full refund if they still couldn’t dispatch the replacement. Interestingly, the replacement was dispatched immediately after, and I received it Friday, May 15.

In fairness, the replacement laptop works really great and I’m happy with the actual product. Overall, my experience with Gadget Centre was average mainly because of the delivery delays and communication issues. I understand delivery dates are estimates, but it may be better to give customers a slightly longer estimate from the start rather than missing the stated timeframe without clear updates. Early delivery is always a bonus — late delivery without proper communication is what frustrates customers most.

Quick to respond to email queries before placing an order, and very helpful.

You wouldn't know the laptop was previously used, it looks good and performs well, it is so good that we bought another one.

I Upgraded specs on Laptop online, laptop arrived 10 working day well packed in bubble wrap and box. The lap top had a wrap applied and cosmetically looks brand new. I have used it for over a week and everything seems fine. Really good value for the price.

Received my laptop after about 10 working days. I did need to chase for it but communication was good. Laptop arrived and so far really pleased with it . Would recommend
