Buy these socks every year nd they great to keep my feet dry when walking through wet ground

Quick turnaround and decent product.
I bought 2 pairs of waterproof socks as they were on offer - 2 pairs for the price of 1 pair, so I thought I'd try them out. I have yet to find out if they are waterproof, but they were nicely packaged and feel very similar to many other well known brand waterproof sock - but thinner (which I like).

Arrived fast and kept my feet dry playing golf in the rain. All they need to do.

Quality product, very good for mountain biking. I looked for puddles, and can say these are fully waterproof

Bought three pairs a few months ago as they seemed a useful purchase and I needed some thick waterproof socks for running and walking. Really good. I wear them daily, ad double up as replacement for slippers if I need to nip out in to yard to shed or for dog. No need to put shoes on. Work well as first or second waterproof layer in trail running shoes or walking boots. Would give them 5-stars if the brand lettering on the rear didn't fall off after washing and through general use. Keep finding single green letters in washing machine and around house. Feel this is a bad environmental point. Why can't you just stitch in your brand name to the socks?

Firstly, I can't fault the service from Geckowear, my order, Calf length waterproof socks, arrived promptly.

On opening the packaging I was pleased to find there were no seams around the toe area, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, they were dashed once I tried them out.

I wore them on a 1-hour run having got wet feet a few times over the past few weeks. My feet started to get quite warm after about 25 minutes, to the point they were bordering on hot by the end of the run. While the socks stopped water from getting in, and were noticeably wet on the outside when I got home, the inside of the socks was wet with perspiration and had caused a blister on one of my little toes from rubbing the rubber-like material on the inside.

The socks have taken over 24 hours to dry, even after turning them inside out to dry the inside, not something I was expecting (the instructions say you can't dry them on a heat source)

They do not fit like regular socks and aren't snug in all areas, the toe box is roomier than regular socks and I found there was some excess material (for me) on the sides and underside between the front toe joints and the ball of my foot. It is this excess of material that I think caused the blister.

I will give them another try but I'm expecting a similar experience.

I don't believe this is particularly related to Geckowear as some fellow runners have similar issues with another brand of waterproof socks and have to wear their regular running socks underneath, something I wanted to avoid.

I'm disappointed given the price of the socks, but I'm not sure the perfect waterproof sock for runners exists.

I am a postie. I now have two pairs of these and they are by far the best totally waterproof comfortable socks out there. Tried and tested

Great product. Use them for hiking and biking and have never had an issue with them.
