I WAS NOT informed about the 2nd hour charge. My printer is still not working. He googled every step. I then emailed. Called several times. They refused to refund me the 2nd hour and am still trying to fix my issues.

They are lucky to get 1 star. The technician was lovely - nothing against him. We were misled from the initial phone consultation, quoted a price and then told by the technician is was going to cost more than what was already paid. We didn’t follow through with this. We called the company back to be rudely spoken to to, told we couldn’t speak to management, no one was ever from management and we were hung up on multiple times. I emailed my concerns to them and received no reply.
Will never use them again !

I regret to report that the advice and service provided to fix my PC reboot issues was the worst I have ever received and, I will not recommend this service to anyone. I have provided specific feedback through the Geeks2U website.

I'm more than happy to contine dealing with them now things have been sorted out.

They advertise no fix no fee. At the end of the booking process, I asked for confirmation if no fix no fee applies and she told me that it doesn’t. So I canceled the booking and she tried to persuade me that I can’t.
The booking process was also absolutely unprofessional; the agent was trying to connect me with a service person for 20 min…during this time, I could hear her vulgar behaviour.
I called Jim”s it on 131546 and received a completely different service.
In other countries I could submit a court case for this unprofessional behaviour in Australia sadly we cannot.

Bob from Geeks2U arrived 5 mins early on New Year's Day. Having my comms break down was not a great start to 2026 but Bob sorted it all out for me. I was thrilled to be able to get it fixed on the public holiday and suddenly 2026 was back on track for me. I would definitely use Geeks2U again and I would specifically ask for Bob. Excellent Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Needed a new battery for my computer. I made it very clear when booking that a technician should not attend unless they had the battery. Despite repeating this three times, the booking staff didn’t listen.
The technician later told me he contacted Geeks2U multiple times to obtain the model number so the battery could be pre-ordered, but received no response. I also received no appointment reminder from Geeks2U.
The technician arrived on time and was professional, but without the battery, making the visit a complete waste. He contacted Geeks2U on my behalf to explain how unhappy I was. Geeks2U emailed to cancel the appointment and said they would call me — they never did. I called again and was promised a callback, which also never happened.
The technicians are fine. The problem is Geeks2U’s booking and customer service team — disorganised, unresponsive, and clearly unconcerned. I would not recommend this company.

sent a email regarding a data save on a laptop in october of this year, for computer freaks they never answer there email???? like, how good can you be when its 2 months later and no reply.
not impressed just another typical touch self from touchers of others, and online booking etc means...ring us now.

Sadly my experience with geeks2u was not good. I told them that one of the keys on my keyboard was not working. I expected that the technician sent out would be able to open the laptop nd clean the keyboard. Instead, and without asking me first, he did a factory reset on my machine. Reinstalling the software I need has already wasted a day of my time, and my backup in cloud will take about a week to complete restoring all my files. Not a happy bunny!

I've used Geeks 2U several times, having techs visit me at home, and more recently working through remote access. From the first phonecall to the techs who fixed my issues, everyone...EVERYONE has been polite, professional, understanding, respectful, empathetic, punctual and thorough. They explain in terms I, a 72year old disabled pensioner, can understand and answer all questions honestly and knowledgeably. I highly recommend Geeks 2 U to ANYONE having IT issues.

Do not recommend. Organised a same day appointment. Phone call at end of the due hour saying they couldn't come but booked for 7-8 same evening. Reorganised plans to be home. Another no show no contact. Reached out to them via email. No response. I recommend using geeks to fix. Called with 10 min after hours to book for following morning. Sent a due time in morning and was here on time and knowledgeable

The person who came said he could not fix it and it was not his job. Yet I got an email saying it would cost me $999.
These guys are not to be trusted. They are too expensive and lack knowledge about laptops. Totally useless geeks.

Worst experience EVER. Booked technician as no internet. Received an email 25mins before due to arrive saying unsuccessful attempt to call me (didn't have my phone no.), them email saying job was cancelled. Luckilyi have internet acccess on phone. Phoned to be told technicianwas unwell, rebooked & the next technician didn't show on Saturday. Today Wednesday 5.30pm receive email advising job was cancelled. Seriously DO NOT spend your cash on these drop kicks.

Appalling after sales service.multiple emails and calls re immediate problems with email and office suite installations, resulted in promises of follow-up calls and visits on four separate occasions. None of which occurred. Excuse, only received once I followed up,was always that technician not available. Over one month from initial visit, both email and office suite not working. Don’t use them!!

So I have received a phone call. Strange how you are dismissed when you phone with an issue but you immediately get attention when you post online.
Anyway, they apologised that they were sending me daily demands for account settlement, even after I had rung and asked for time to pay. The person I spoke to said it was "the system" and nothing could be done. I pointed out that they are an IT business ......?
End of discussion.
Nothing was ever mentioned about the fact that since their person came my laptop doesn't/barely work/s.

The entire experience was aweful.
Dreadful.
I still cannot use my laptop now.
The person who came to my house was condescending, did whatever he wanted because I did not understand.
He pushed the time out so far I could not afford the invoice.
I contacted Geeks asking if I could pay half now half next pension.
They said I could s0ay it all after my next pension payment.
They then sent me 35 messages saying I had not paid my account.
I was so stressed about these daily demands. I rang them several times and was dismissed. One person even giggled at my problem.
Bottom line is I paid more than $600 to be unable to use my laptop.
Date of experience below is random.

I contacted Geeks2U to (hopefully) retrieve some folders from an old archive server.
Gene arrived on time, was very pleasant and really knew his stuff. He managed to access the files that I feared might be lost, and copy them to another hard drive. I'm very, very happy with this result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gene and Geeks2U.

Found Gary from Geeks2U really good and exactly the help I needed. He had a very clear, methodical approach to working through my problems with some complicated ethernet connections which identified most of my issues.
He also put me on the right track to sorting out my wiring with my security camera system despite not being his area of expertise. I managed to resolve this issue myself with the help in about 10 minutes after he left. The cameras are all now fully functional and recording which is great.
Found the service very responsive (next day call out), polite/friendly and good value for money.
