Georgia Mountain Rentals Avis 52

I booked a trip over the phone 7 months in advance and decided to cancel once I realized our group was too large for the property. I paid a $500 holding fee over the phone and was not told anything about it being non-refundable. They sent a rental contract in an email after I booked, stating that holding fee was non refundable, but I didn’t open it until after 48 hours of booking so I didn’t know. Additionally, the rental agreement said the holding fee was $250, not $500. The agreement has a cancellation claus with line to sign and accept the terms, I didn’t sign yet they still think it’s legal to keep my $500. After canceling, 6 days after booking and almost 7 months in advance of the reservation, they will not give me my $500 holding fee back. Amber, the office manager said they have contracts in place for this reason so they would not issue a refund. I said I didn’t sign the contract but she said the decision was final. I don’t feel this is an honest company at all and I wouldn’t book with them.

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and it was amazing!!! The jacuzzi was a plus! The cabin was clean and well taken care of. The location was about 10 minutes away from Helen so we were near restaurants and attractions, yet the cabin was secluded.

Cabin was beautiful. It had everything we need for a fabulous time. It was clean and well kept. We had a great time playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub.

The place was amazing...a great getaway for the weekend.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have stayed at several different cabins and enjoyed each one. We wouldn't rent with anyone else.

We had a great time. place was very clean and comfortable. If we had any concerns or questions they were more than happy to help and give us the answers we needed immediately. If your looking for a nice quiet spot to enjoy your vacation this is Definitely a place to stay. We will definitely be back absolutely loved it. Would stay with another Georgia mountain rentals property hands down!!

House was very clean, very secluded, which we loved. It’s in a great location to go on a hike and it’s about 7 minutes away from Helen. We will definitely be staying again.

This is truly a hidden gem in the mountains. Great location and great amenities with plenty of room for a family of 6. It was a little confusing on how to turn on the hot tub and the lights leading down to the pavilion, but we were able to get answers on this quickly from the management company staff. They checked in to make sure we were having an enjoyable stay and provided great service while we were there. If we go back to visit Helen, GA, we know where we will be staying!

Communication was good except on the day the reservation was to start. We were told that you would call or text the entry code but instead it was emailed. And, once I left home i had no email access so it didn't do me any good... Phone or text would have been fine.

Had a fantastic time. This was my first experience with a VRBO-Rental. Actually rented two Cabins. One on the first part of my trip to Georgia. Traveled to Florida, then returned and rented another! My son and new baby live in Georgia; he only has the weekends off, so it was perfect to make a trip around 2 weekends and 2 great cabin rentals. Everyone was very helpful and view out the windows was fantastic.

I had a fantastic time and loved Woodland Waltz.

We loved Creek Retreat! It is really perfect for a family with kids too. All the board games and books were great, pool table was fun! We used the hot tub too. The fire pit was great and the creek was beautiful!
