AIRNOW is simply amazing!
I'm an expat living abroad but my family are still back home in Louisiana. My mother was struggling from the heat with an AC unit that suddenly decided to go on the fritz and stop working. Given the time zone difference from where I am, it's not easy for my to find an emergency AC repair service because there's an eight hour time difference. I took the chance and called AIRNOW at what was basically 0400 in the morning their time expecting to leave a message and get a call back later in their morning. To my surprise and shock, THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE! Not only did they answer the phone, they offered to come out immediately when I explained that my mothers AC was out and she was suffering. However, I thanked them and told them the morning would be fine.
My mother informed me that she had several AC repair technicians come out prior and the immediate response from all of them was to try and sell her an entirely new AC unit. I won't disagree that the unit is probably from a time when dinosaurs still roamed the earth (okay, it's really not THAT bad), but she couldn't financially afford to replace it and really shouldn't have had to given it was installed just ten years ago (is that old for an AC?). AIRNOW were able to get the unit fixed and running again and didn't try to upsell us.
Not only is this company incredibly experienced and professional, they're kind and actually care about the people they work with.
I will highly recommend them to anyone who calls me in the future for anything HVAC related.
