Akko is one of the best products of…

Akko is one of the best products of this type that I've ever dealt with. For the price of regular cell phone insurance you, you get so much more. I've filed more than one claim with them and it has been very straight forward and the paid me (less my deductible) instantly once I had submitted my receipt

For the most part a positive experience. Communications were not the fastest, and the amount they paid including adjusting for the deductible on the phone was less than it cost me to purchase a refurbished replacement, still happy overall with the experience…

Great customer service and insurance...

AKKO has gone above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. They have provided great service as well as great coverage. While certain things may be a little hard to understand VIA their website, their customer service makes it easier to understand. Looking for to remaining an AKKO customer for years to come.

I will NOT be renewing my coverage with…

I will NOT be renewing my coverage with Akko once it runs out. Filing a claim is a nightmare and customer service is nonexistent. You can never speak to a live person and can only email or text or have an online chat. My daughter dropped her phone and shattered the back glass. They've fought us every step of the way! They kept asking for pictures and videos even though we had already sent them. They kept asking for the same information over and over again. Then they just ignored us and wouldn't respond until they were good and ready. Her phone is a 512gb and they tried to replace it with a 128gb. It's been over 2 weeks now and the case is still not resolved. I would never do business with Akko again. Sure, they're cheaper than other insurance companies but so not worth all the trouble and aggravation when you have a problem.

Best value for electronic device insurance

I have been using Akko for years. Their systems keep getting better, making the claims process even more seamless. I had a claim approval within a few hours after submitting my repair quote. The best thing is that Akko protects all of your devices for one price, making it a fantastic value.

2nd claim-- solid experience!

This was my second claim on my Akko plan-- and it was as seamless as the first! The battery in my phone was failing, and Akko covered the replacement of it at the Apple Store. I appreciate the prompt communication from the Akko team, and I am very pleased with the experiences I have had with the Akko claims team.

Stolen iphone and paid out within 48 hrs, great service!

Had iPhone stolen while abroad and they were super responsive. Gina and team were able to resolve within 48 hours and disperse payment. Overall great experience. Way better than past experiences with Apple Care as I was out of the country and needed cash to buy new phone and it was in my account within 48 hours of filing the claim.

Streamlined and expedited!

I have had Akko insurance for nearly 9 months and got it when I decided to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 because it's a foldable, there's about a million things that can go wrong with it.

Well, the inevitable happened... My wifi and Bluetooth radios stopped working. And you don't realize how bad that is until you can't connect to any headsets or wifi networks.

I reached out to Akko, and submitted a claim on Friday night, by Saturday morning, I had a response asking for more documentation (regarding the physical device and exhibited issue). By Sunday, I had a response asking for an independent estimate to verify the cost of repairing the device (if possible, which was not in my case). By Monday afternoon, I had full AND fair market value payment minus my deductible, as in they sent me a link to a replacement refurbished device that I could purchase right the and there to replace my device minus deductible (including tax too).

To say this was the least hassle I've had with an insurance company is an understatement. I'm so thankful companies like Akko exist to be provide insurance at an honest and stress free manner. Skip Asurion and their garbage claims process, go straight to Akko!

A smooth experience!

I initially got Akko as I had an international trip coming up and was concerned about running into issue with my electronics. The trip turned out to be fine, but shortly after the trip I soaked my iPad in water on my commute. Akko was extremely responsive and covered a new iPad since Apple indicated the screen isn't replaceable and recommended a full replacement. The claim process was a little confusing - possibly because it is my first time using it - but the customer service was extremely responsive and helpful, and there was ample time for each step. It's been a great experience and I foresee staying with Akko for a long time!

Well it's great that everyone else has been having such stellar service while mine has been very slow. My phone disappeared three weeks ago and with it my access to my entire digital life. I didn't have insurance thru my carrier but I did sign up for AKKO bc of an offer all I think. Anyway I filed a claim for theft and it just kind of sat in limbo because I couldn't get to my inbox where the receipt for the phone was. Eventually the phone was found, albeit destroyed. So I canceled the first claim and filed one for damages. I followed the steps by taking pictures....then taking videos....then taking it to a store for diagnostics and a quote...and now it's been two days since I submitted the quote and I have heard not a peep. This claim was filed a week ago. I need my phone number back before I lose it forever.
