Pulled out my 4 year old Findsters while training my younger 2 y.o. miniature schnauzer how to come when called. Charged the tag and the guardian and updated software with no problem. The devices pulled up an accurate aerial of my 31 property so we could work on short and long distances. Great peace of mind when training new commands.

It's great and works good!

Suddenly and with no warning the app is unsupported and will not work. The getfindster web page links to a 20/month service that will be available soon.

On our second walk, the screw of my guardian came lose and I lost it in the deep snow in freezing temperatures. I did not notice it until I came back to the parking lot. I was pretty upset that the srew came off so easily, but thankfully I was able to locate the device through the gps tracking system. It took me a while, because it sank deep into the snow, and by the time I found it, it had been buried for approximately an hour. To my surprise, it was still working and the battery wasn't drained, either.
I contacted the company and they returned my email within a day and sent a replacement screw right away.
I don't think I am going to trust the screw in the future, though, but keep the device in a backbag or my pockets.
It has been accurate and the history feature that shows where my dog has been roaming is awesome (it's the reason I actually bought it, and I love it).

Great tracking device! I bought the Findster Duo and I was looking for one that worked over a semi long distance and also that worked without cellular or internet service because I go traveling and camping a lot. I would hate to lose my dog out in the wilderness. The only downsides are not being able to track your dog for longer and not being able to track your dog 24/7 because you have to “start a walk” before it starts tracking and you have to be near your dog and the modules at the same time to start tracking your dog. The battery life isn’t very long when you’re using the tracking feature 24/7. The battery life lasts pretty long when you’re not using the tracking feature. The location of my dog on the app was pretty accurate most of the time and it updated every 10 seconds or so that I noticed when I was moving with her. Overall a great affordable tracking device that doesn’t cost extra fees!

I'll write my true feeling's when and only when I'm able to speak with a live human being about replacement parts. Thus far, it appears that there is only virtual Customer Sevice. It's sketchy.

So far after purchasing two years ago, I have loved this product. It is a tad bulky on the collars and would love a better design, but my dogs don’t seem to mind them, so I’m good. I would love to order an extra module( I recently added another dog) and some extra replacement straps in case we lose some. My only complaint is there seems to be no easy way to do this on their website. I’ve contacted support but haven’t gotten a reply. I’m trying to spend my hard earned money on your product and I can’t do that easily by clicking a button? Why aren’t these replacement parts on the website? Seems like a simple thing.

Love the actual tracker, however I lost the piece that attaches the GPS unit to my dogs collar shortly after starting to use it.

Contacted support and they invoiced me $50 for 3 additional attachment pieces. No problem... except that this was 2 months ago now and my replacements still haven't even shipped. Customer support ghosting me. No phone number to get ahold of anyone. The GPS unit is utterly useless without the attachment pieces.

Findster should include more than one of these pieces in your original order.

EDIT: Customer Support finally wrote back after seeing this review. They explained that DHL forgot to grab my package and its been sitting in a corner of their warehouse the entire time... so not their fault I suppose, but the lack of acknowledging my emails until now still doesn't feel great. They are supposedly shipping them to me now. I will update this review again once I receive the package.

Our second dog is a rescue the this is a perfect tracker and all free from SIM cards. Brilliant app as well. We sourced another on flea bay as 2 dogs 2 trackers

Great product, works as it should and gives me the peace of mind I need to let my dog off the lead. The bracket that holds the GPS device to the dogs collar did break, but they replaced it with no hassle what so ever.

I would highly recommend the Findster for all the reasons a product like this is recommended: technical accuracy, ease of use, reliable product support...all at a great price; however, watching my cat Layne enjoy the outside from home under my watching eye makes it priceless.

I have been using FindsterDuo+ for 3 years +
I love it! It gives me Grouse’s real time activity and position. I particularly like the challenges which keep our walks interesting and focussed.
The support is good. Issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently. I have tried other trackers but have not found one that I prefer to the FindsterDuo+

I really don’t have anything good to say about this in it’s current form.
It needs a major revamp.
The whole having a separate bulky module with you at all times for it to work is a fail.It has a rubber attachment that fits very weakly over a metal stud that is continually coming unattached so easily lost.In fact mine dropped off multiple times and the last time it was in the rain for 5 minutes and dion stopped working.. “oh it isn’t waterproof .. £70 for a new one.. you can’t use the tracker without it.
The tracker has a rubbish battery life.It needs charging every night.
I could go on but I’m done with this,except to say at least there’s no monthly subscription.
I’ve ditched it (£150 down the drain) and bought another make.
It needs a huge upgrade.

I have loved using findster! I use it when going on long, off-lease hikes with my dog an it helps me keep track of where she is, and how much exercise she is getting!

I'm very happy with this purchase. Battery life is good. Easy to use. Like that there's no subscription necessary. I have recommended it to numerous dog owners who I've met in the park and I know some of them have purchased. Gives peace of mind knowing that I can track my dogs whereabouts if he goes out of sight in the park...his recall is not always 100% reliable!

This is a fantastic little device to ensure you are able to find your dog in case it ever gets away from you!!!
Having had my dog run away once this gives me such great peace of mind.

I bought one of these modules in Jan this year for my rescue. It works brilliantly along side when you download the maps and the battery lasts a good few walks. I do lots of woodland and mountain walks in South Wales and am surprised at the reliability even in this terrain. My dog did manage to loose the module after a few months. However, I would like to say a great big thank you to Findster for clear communication and for helping me promptly resolve this issue. My stress levels have gone back down again as my elusive rescue can easily be found. Thank you!

I've seen people write review and be upset with the care plan and not able to cancel. Although I don't like being auto signed up to things I didn't have any issues cancelling, I'm pretty sure I just went through the App and clicked unsubscribe, if that helps anyone.

My only feedback is, I would love if they made a day glow version / high vis version.
