Can’t even get online for a quote

Can’t even get online for a quote - apparently my mobile number is invalid. I think this just shows how much of a professional company you are 🤦🏼‍♂️

We are sorry that you were unable to proceed with an online quote. Where a mobile number is flagged as invalid at the outset, this is typically due to the number being held on a suppression or do not contact list. This usually occurs where we have previously been asked not to contact that number, or where the number has been screened out under data protection controls applied by our lead provider.

We operate strict data protection and suppression processes to prevent unwanted contact, and in some cases this can result in details not being accepted online. This is designed to protect individuals, not to restrict legitimate enquiries.

This appears to be an isolated issue, and I am keen to understand exactly why your number has been screened. If you are happy to do so, please contact me directly at m.cullen@smartercover.co.uk
and I will review this with our digital marketing partner and clarify the position.

Avoid them

I am highly disappointed in this company’s business practices. After inquiring about a policy, I explicitly informed them I was no longer interested. Two months later, I am still receiving unsolicited daily calls. Their refusal to honor 'Do Not Call' requests is a major red flag. Stay away.

I am genuinely sorry to read about your experience. Having reviewed your record personally, I can see that you did ask us to stop calling and this should have been actioned immediately. On this occasion, that request was not recorded correctly at the point it was made, which meant further calls were attempted. That is not the standard we expect, and I apologise that this was not handled properly at the time.

I can also see that during your earlier interaction you had progressed through part of the quotation and application process, which is why our system continued to treat the enquiry as live. However, once you made it clear that you were no longer comfortable proceeding, your request should have been respected without delay.

For clarity, your record has now been updated and marked as do not contact to ensure there are no further calls.

We take data preferences and contact permissions seriously, and your feedback has been shared internally so that we can reinforce the importance of correctly recording suppression requests at the first point of contact.

I am sorry again that this caused frustration. If you would like to discuss anything further, you are welcome to contact us directly and I will ensure it is handled appropriately.

Good, Positive Experience

My experience with GetProtected has been very good from the start. I simply made an enquiry online and soon after that I got an initial call back from one of their staff members. He went through the whole application process with me and was very efficient and professional and made everything very clear, about the policy and all the options available to me. He was very thorough in relation to the health questionnaire and talked me through it all. I was very convinced and impressed that this would be the right fit for me to sign up for my life insurance. Days later, after being accepted for my policy, I got a further call to inform me about everything else. I highly recommend Get Protected as I feel they're a well organised insurance company. I'll certainly be sending my friends and family links for them to sign up. Well done to the Get Protected Team! Keep doing the great job you're doing.

I think the guys name was Matt I…

I think the guys name was Matt I remember him well as he is a fellow man united fan so made the call very easy. Your a credit to the company Matt thanks for helping me to protect my family for another 15 years. Let’s hope my kids still have me instead of the money. I know the wife is rubbing her hands so not sure what she is plotting. Take care.
