Brilliant! I paid, filled out the online form then posted them off. I felt a little nervous, however no need as I received an email to say they were posted on their way back to me within a few days. I received in full working order, tested them out on my hair straight away woo hoo

Fantastic

Fabulous Repair Service
Do not hesitate to send your Ghds for repair to this company, posted mine Monday and had them back by Thursday with details enclosed of the parts that had been repaired and a PAT test certification. As most people would be, I was dubious about posting them anywhere for repair, but found this company and took a chance, I wouldn’t hesitate to send again should the need arise.

Wow, this is a brilliant service... Sent my GHDs away on the Monday morning and have received them back in full working order on Wednesday morning. Well packaged and with a lovely new heat mat included. I would recommend this service to all and will be using again if the need arises.

Excellent service. My ghd's were sent off wednesday and back by saturday in full working order and with complimentary storage sleeve. When they stopped working, i thought i was going to have to bin them so i saved myself a lot of money. I would highly recommend this company

Excellent service - did exactly what they promised!
I can't believe how quick,efficient and simple this service is! I was mortified when my beloved GHDs stopped working and quickly set about finding out how to get them fixed. I came across this company and at first was sceptical but thought for £24.50 I'll give it a go. I sent them off by registered post on Thursday and I couldn't believe it when they arrived in the post this morning.. Saturday!! All fixed and ready to use.
I would recommend this service to anyone with broken GHDs - thank you so much to the company and the engineers behind the scenes doing all the work.

Great website and service
My wife's GHD had gone. Using this website I diagnosed the problem and ordered the replacement lead which came with the new, improved internal connector. I hadn't seen this anywhere else. A bit of careful work and she's happy once more.

Great email service and terrific repair service
I highly recommend using GHD repair service - both email (service) and repair shop service was 1st class. Although my straightener was shippped in the easter holiday it was repaired and returned in only very few days. Thanks very much for hel ping me out;-)

Straiteners came back worse and dangerous!
I sent off my GHDS as they had a loose connection and kept switching off and on while I was using them. When I received them back and started using them were making a "fizzing" sound and gave me an electric shock! Very unhappy, the GHDs came back in a worse and dangerous condition!! So now I have no GHDs and paid £25 for an electric shock! Thanks!

Firstly I am sorry that you are unhappy however I believe the review to be unfair for a few reasons.
All ghd's taken in for repair are fully inspected, faults repaired and then put through a stringent PAT test to ensure that they are safe for use. You will have received a PAT (portable appliance testing) certification form to confirm this with your ghd's and a thorough outline of faulty parts and also the other parts that were tested.
The cable on your model was faulty and also a component on the circuit board which typically fails in conjunction with this. These were both replaced and they tested and worked fine and no other parts showed up as faulty. They were then put through a PAT test which they passed.
It now sounds as though there has been an issue with the connection point inside where the cable fits to. Again, this is a common issue on your particular model but at the time of inspection and repair your connection point was working as it should with no signs of damage. These particular parts can be temperamental and can work and test fine but soon fail for no given reason apart from design faults. This is one of the very reasons why we cover our repairs with a 6 month warranty to firstly back up the repairs and also cover for any such faults arising so soon after a repair is carried out. The unit is contained where the cable and connection enter and connect so an electric shock should not have been produced as nothing is exposed.
We haven't once had any contact back regarding the repair apart from this review. All repairs are covered by the warranty so they would have again been inspected and repaired for free and your postage back to us covered. How could we go about rectifying the fault if we weren't even aware of it?
May I ask that you get in touch with us and we will happily rectify the situation at no charge and refund your original repair fee as a gesture of goodwill. We followed all the same steps we do with other repairs (feedback of which confirms we take our repairs very seriously in terms of quality and safety) and then ran them through our PAT platform to ensure they were fit for use and passed.
Again, I am sorry for your experience but please at least allow us to rectify the repair and know that, as with every repair we receive, they went through a through inspection and test before and after however in this instance your set developed a further fault so soon after repairing them.
First class service, can't believe I haven't used th sooner
Why has no one told me about these guys? I love my GHDs and have had the same pair for 9 years. So when they broke I thought that was it, but after a quick google search I discovered these guys. The website didn't look very professional and seemed automated by robots so I was VERY sceptical about sending my beloved GHDs to them. But then I thought what have I got to lose? Turns out it was the right decision as three days after I sent them they arrived back, fully restored and in working order. I couldn't believe I was about to go out and buy a new pair! Highly recommend this company!

posted a broken pair of GHDs on Saturday morning,, received them back, fixed on Wednesday .. Paid for the repair after they was fixed... Saved me having to buy a new pair...service like this doesn't come any better!!!

Top rapid service.
Fastest turnaround in any Internet service never mind the fact they're performing a repair. The product was returned working perfectly. Saved me having to buy the missus a new pair after i sent them tumbling to their demise. Really good and would recommend to anyone who needs a repair.
