Awful company to rent a car from

Awful company to rent a car from, this company has wasted so much of my time which is holiday time aswell as time back in the UK chasing them for my deposit.

First car had screeching sound when full locking to park then my partner took it back and they tested it and said it’s fine when it wasn’t, I then took the car back the next day and they made me wait to swap it for another.

I was due my 1500 dirrum deposit back and they said it’s fine to come back and it’s been taking months to receive this, they said it’s the bank but this is a lie as I’m moving there & know the banking from my business associates there and all my friends, no proof was emailed to me of anything sent which I requested many times.

If you want to waste your time, get damaged & get poor repair cars and wait 3 months plus for your deposit back then Golden Rent a car is the perfect company for you!

I am now sending this to the Dubai police as I am not getting anywhere with there customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They took my deposit and only refunded me part of it. I asked them to give me the remaining amount they promised they would but didn’t. I have now made a complaint to the police.

As per our records, a part of the security deposit has already been refunded. The remaining balance is currently pending due to bank transaction processing, which is fully handled by the bank and not withheld intentionally by our company.

Please note that refund timelines depend on the customer’s bank and card issuer, and delays can occur beyond our control. Once the bank confirms the transaction, the balance will be released accordingly.

We kindly request you to contact our Customer Support Team with your booking details so we can follow up officially and provide you with a clear update regarding the transaction.

I have had a great experience with Golden Key Rent , the car was bigger than expected , the personal was very friendly and reactive so the pick up process went as smoothly as one can expect. In other words , I really recommend them for people flying to Al Maktoum airport
