Glow Up Kids Avis 

Today we attended Glow Up Kids with our 3 year old daughter. All staff were amazing. They made sure that Heidi-Rose was looked after. They gave her a “make-over” and kept it age appropriate by just applying a little lipgloss and styled her curly hair.

We were provided refreshments throughout and felt really looked after.

Heidi-Rose was selected as this months winner and we are over the moon with all of the pictures.

We were not pressured in anyway to buy a package.

A truly amazing experience all around. And Heidi-Rose had a gorgeous afternoon being the centre of attention

We took our 10-year-old daughter along for the Face of Glow Up Kids competition and honestly had such a lovely afternoon.

We arrived not really knowing what to expect, but from the minute we walked in everyone made us feel so welcome. Mandy, the manager, was the perfect host. She was so friendly, organised and welcoming, and immediately put us all at ease.

A huge thank you to Dee, the photographer. She was brilliant with our daughter - so friendly, professional and amazing at building her confidence. She somehow managed to capture the most beautiful photos, and we’re absolutely blown away with the results.

The videographer (I’m so sorry, I can’t remember his name!) was also fantastic. He captured loads of behind-the-scenes footage but did it so naturally that you hardly noticed he was there.

Staci, who did the hair and make-up, was just lovely. She instantly put any nerves to rest and made our daughter feel really comfortable. She is incredibly talented and created the perfect natural look.

What we thought would just be a fun afternoon has actually opened our eyes to a whole new world. We’ve come away with amazing photos, an entry into the competition and, unexpectedly, conversations about a possible future in modelling.

We’ll definitely be back for the Manchester modelling school. It feels like a great way for our daughter to learn the skills and technical side of modelling, while also giving us as parents a better understanding of the industry and how to support her safely if it’s something she wants to pursue.

Thank you to everyone at Glow Up Kids for making it such a positive experience. We left with huge smiles on our faces and can’t wait to come back!

We drove down to Manchester from Leicester. At first when we arrived the venue, it felt like we were not seen, we waited a few good minutes before someone came to speak to us, but we were patient. As soon as Janet came to speak to us, she made us feel welcomed, offered us all refreshments, and soon my child's make over was done and we went for the shoot. The guy who did the shoot was alright, we have no complain at all. Then we waited for about an hour before being called to view the photos. They were stunning photos! There's no way you would not want to purchase them all! Kathleen was lovely! We had a good time and I'd be happy to go back again, this time for a family photoshoot.

We had an absolutely amazing time today, normally my child is shy but the photographer hunter really brought him out of himself, he was here as a finalist for a competition and wow the experience was outstanding. Not only did hunter take pictures, Olivia also took behind the scenes video and photo. I would recommend glow up kids to any1 looking for a professional photoshoot. Also they don't also do kids, they do family photoshoots which I'm really contemplating coming back for as I would like so professional family pictures.

Glow Up Kids in Manchester has honestly been amazing for my daughter. Her first visit even went viral after she was chosen to be the face of one of their campaigns, which gave her such a huge confidence boost. She went back for a second shoot and the whole three‑hour process was so smooth. The staff were patient, kind, and genuinely made her feel special.
The photos were beautiful, but honestly, it was the confidence she walked out with that meant the most. I’d definitely recommend it — whether it’s for a shoot, a pamper day, or just something fun to lift their confidence. It’s such a lovely experience for kids.
he whole team were fantastic, including management you can tell they really care about the kids. Just a little heads‑up, the car park machine can be a bit temperamental, however you can park for free along the long road at the side of the building.

What can I say it was amazing from start to finish both my girls looked absolutely fantastic and the pictures amazing everyone was so friendly and made them feel so relaxed and my shy child soon came out of her shell and was loving it. And got a fantastic package when it was time for choosing the pictures. We got all the photos and a canvas and picture book thank you so so much xx

My daughter, Isabel won the face of glow up spring 2026, we was greeted by the lovely Olivia, she was made to feel so welcome from start to finish, we was offered refreshments throughout the morning, she was seen pretty much straight away getting a little make over by their team to start with, she was left feeling confident. She received her winning with in the same week she was announced the winner. Her whole experience was amazing and I would fully recommend this company to anyone.

My daughter ‘won’ a competition took her for the glow up session make up and hair done with photo shoots, which was really enjoyable for her and the staff showing you around and photographers were amazing!! The whole day wait was 6 hours, lots of waiting around, showed the photos in a small room and the lady was telling my 10 year old how amazing she was and is definitely on track to a model making promises (that never came through) that persuaded us to purchase an £1600 package. Sent an email with photos and that was that. My daughter now cannot understand why nothing the lady promised has happened. We then get an email to say your child has been entered into a competition for the face of glow up kids, to find it’s a vote that you pay for and can pay for as many votes as you want (so basically whoever pays the most will win the competition). I have tried to use the photos from the profolio to sign up for agencies but as they applied make up and they request natural photos they can not be used. If you are looking for a photos for a profolio for your child I highly recommend going to a photographer.

We booked a photoshoot at this studio for my niece's 16th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The photographer was warm, professional, and knew exactly how to put her at ease, making the session enjoyable and fun.
The photographs were stunning and beautifully captured this special milestone in her life. The attention to detail and quality of the final images were outstanding.

My daughter and I have had an exceptional experience at Glow up Kids. The staff were very kind, responsive, professional and caring. I had a lot of delays with transport and ended up getting to our appointment very late. However, Anne and Olivia kept in touch with me throughout the delays. They had also helped us with the route to take (due to delays and cancellations with buses and trains). We were greeted warmly and guided throughout the whole process while at Glow up kids. The make-up artist was very kind and made my daughter feel very comfortable in her skin (my daughter is a black child) and with her hair. There was another lady (I could slap myself for forgetting her name) that kept checking on us, updating us and offered us refreshments throughout the time we were there (as she knew we travelled from far and had another long journey back home). The photographer was very professional and knew exactly what she was doing. My daughter felt very comfortable working with her and the shoot went very well. At the end we saw Shantel who showed us my daughter's photos which looked absolutely gorgeous and she also was made the prize winner! We were so happy!! Shantel was absolutely amazing as well with making us feel welcomed and comfortable. She gave us all the information we needed in order to help launch my daughter's modelling career. Amazing team from an amazing company. I would definitely recommend them. Oh and my daughter approves this message 😁.

Contact with Glow up kids was great from the initial phone call the environment at reception was very comfy and inviting Staff were all very welcoming and professional,
young Natasha did an amazing job with the photography making my child easy into the poses & Mandy helped out a lot working hard running upstairs and back down
we were offered beverages and snacks and staff were eager to make your experience enjoyable (even straightened my child hair again at her request)
