Wrong Item and Poor customer service
I was sent the wrong item. I ordered glasses with an english setter on and received glasses with Springer Spanials on. Ordered through Rackhams. Dealing with Glyptic Glass was not possible as the emails kept bouncing back so all communication was through Rackhams in the end. I was offered the oppurtunity to keep the glasses and without cost receive the right items. This was until GLYPTC GLASS claim to have updated their designs and apparently their Springer spaniel design is now the correct design for English Setters, Irish Setters and Springer Spaniels!
3 totally different shaped dogs with different breed standards and not even the same markings. Lauughable really especially since they were supposed to be a prize for English Setter Best in Show.I can only imagine how disappointed the winner would have been to receive glasses with a different breed engraved on them.
I am disappointed to be assured by GG that they are not in the wrong in any way and I have received the right glasses and the link for the labels to return for a full refund does not work.
I was also offered a sellers discount to keep the glasses and additionally get a partial refund which after a while I decided to consider because the stress involved with dealing with both companies was less than helpfuI and time consuming. I was shocked and disappointed to be then given a 10% discount and postage refund without agreement of what the discount offer was to be. A measley £6 discount for nearly £40 worth of order for items that I did not order and are of no use for the purpose intended.
This to me is mis selling and perhaps even for trades description input. I did not receive the goods I ordered, I was made to feel inadequate in knowing what I had ordered nor did I get an acceptable outcome.
Shame on you Glyptic Glass and Rackhams. I am involved in dog judging nationally and I certainly won't be recommending these companies to exhibitors or judges.

To clarify, the glasses received are English Setters, not Springer Spaniels. The confusion arose because we updated our English Setter artwork and unfortunately missed updating the product image on this one listing, which we hold our hands up to. We understand why this caused frustration and sincerely apologise for that.
Regarding communication, we responded promptly when contacted directly and provided a free returns link for a full refund. We're sorry to hear this link didn't work, and wish this had been raised with us so we could have sorted it sooner. As the order was placed through Rackhams, some communications were handled via their team, which we acknowledge made things less straightforward than they should have been.
We are more than happy to offer a better partial refund, the 10% applied was not agreed with us and does not reflect what we would have offered. If you'd like to keep the glasses, please contact us directly at norfolk.glass.engravers@gmail.com and we'll arrange a more appropriate partial refund. Alternatively, if you'd prefer to return them for a full refund, we'll sort a working returns label for you straight away.
We work with dog clubs and breed enthusiasts regularly and take great pride in the accuracy of our designs. We'd genuinely welcome the opportunity to resolve this properly.

Great quality glassware
Found this site online while googling for Tibetan terrier engraved gifts, reviews were very good and I have to say the quality of the glassware and engraving are really great quality. Having recently lost our beloved Tibetan girl I wanted a keepsake for my husband and these will be a lovely Christmas surprise

Disappointed
Disappointed, I ordered the puffin design wine glass.
some of the birds have bits missing ie feet or parts of.
As this was for a friends 70th birthday I wanted a quality gift.
If the etching was completed (does not look like it on this glass) it would have been a nice gift, as it is I don't think I can give this for a special birthday.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We were very surprised to see this, as you didn’t contact us at any point to let us know you were unhappy. If you had reached out, we would have been more than happy to take a look and help.
All of our wildlife designs, including the puffins, are created by us and engraved with very fine detail. The small gaps you may be referring to are part of the original artwork and are intentional elements of the illustration. They aren’t unengraved areas or a fault in the etching.
We take a lot of pride in our work and have produced thousands of glasses without any issues of this kind, so we’re confident the engraving you received was completed as designed.
If you’d like to send us a photo directly, we’re still happy to take a look and discuss it with you. Our goal is always to make sure customers are pleased with their purchase, but we can only do that when given the chance.
