Go Ask A Local Avis

Well for one thing, Leanora accomplished and accommodated my last minute request for a consult. Then I was late for the call but join the others when I could. She was articulate, knowledgeable, admitted where she was not as knowledgeable about an area, but is sending us a name of a person to contact for further info if needed. She had so much information to share, sending emails also with lots of suggestions for the things I asked. It was so worth every dollar spent. I will use GO ASK A LOCAL again.

Had a one hour discussion with Paolo re our upcoming trip to Puglia.
Paolo has made numerous fantastic suggestions and followed up our call with links to all his suggestions. I think definitely a great help in organising a holiday

Pascal was great. He addressed all our questions regarding Nice and environs and traveling with a 3/year old.

It was very informative. We got all the details we needed.
Thanks

Hello, it was so lovely chatting with Paulo on Zoom - Our travel group could all share our ideas with him. Paulo was most understanding and enthusiastic about our travel needs and put so much thought into our itinerary. As a passionate cyclist himself, Paulo gave us some really good advice and plotted a fantastic route - we are incredibly excited about our cycle adventure in Puglia! Thank you Paulo.

I had a one hour Travel Consultation for Venice, Italy with Enrico.
His passion for the city was contagious and he knew how to convey all his knowledge in a clear and exciting way. Thanks to his knowledge and tips, I was able to explore the most charming corners of Venice, discovering places that I would never have found alone. His patience in answering all my questions and the willingness to accompany me through each question on different themes were essential in planning my trip and make it unforgettable.|
Thanks to Enrico tips, we were able to escape the hustle and bustle and discover the city's most authentic charms. My daughters felt like true explorers!
The museums recommended were perfect for their age. They learned a lot and we had a lot of fun in family!
I can't thank You enough fir this service.

We had a great call with Carola to discuss options for our visit to Santiago and the island of Chiloe. She was super knowledgeable and helpful, and tailored her recommendations to our needs and preferences. We would happily use this service again!

Searched on line for help planning our trip and came across your website with great reviews.

We had our consultation with Leonor and she was outstanding. Great in every way.

Can’t wait for our trip

Dania was very knowledgeable. She gave us great recommendations. She knew a lot about many cities in Italy. She gave us her number in case we got stuck during our trip. We would definitely recommend Go Ask A Local. Keep up the great experiences!

Paolo was great. We did not have much knowledge about the Puglia area of Italy and after talking with him and the information he supplied we were able to plan our trip and feel confident that we could have a wonderful time. He was so knowledgeable about the sites, resturants and hotels; we were glad to take his advice

We have used the service 3 times - for Patagonia, Peru and now Morocco. Each one of the local guides was knowledgeable, friendly, thorough - and the recommendations (itinerary, lodging, restaurants, sites) were uniformly excellent. We travel frequently and intend to use Go Ask a Local for all our future trips.

Very very precise advise given by us by Alphonso. He is very detail oriented in advising to you while keeping your priorities in mind. We got very good advise and are looking forward to the trip

I met with Paolo about planning our honeymoon in Puglia. We met for an hour and there were so many recommendations it was hard to keep up! We had some specific needs - luxury accommodations, excellent food, history and the need to avoid crowds - and Paolo was all over it. This was such a good use of money - immediately after the call I went from feeling overwhelmed to feeling excited and half-done with planning the itinerary! I highly recommend Paolo!

Dania was amazing! She helped me figure out the perfect lodging and itinerary for our family trip to Sicily. I would recommend her to anyone planning a Sicily vacation. She was friendly, knowledgable and helpful.

We met with Paolo to review our itinerary for a planned trip to Puglia. This was a very worthwhile experience. Paolo was well-prepared for the meeting and made some knowledge suggestions for itinerary, restaurants, hotels, transportation and ‘must see’ things in each location. I highly recommend this guide and his service. We left with all the information we need to finalize our trip.

Primoz was so helpful in planning our itinerary to Slovenia and Croatia. He listened well and provided ideas that are practical as well as suited to our likes. Not only did he provide the framework for our 5 days touring, he suggested specific sights, hotels, restaurants…….. the details that make it easy for us! He answered questions about currency, various transportation options and other logistics. His English is excellent (I believe he speaks many languages!) and he’s most personable and relatable! We are glad we connected with Primoz!

Diana was fantastic going thru our itinerary for Sicily in detail, suggesting highlights and restaurants and special of the beaten path attractions along the way. And providing contact info for multiple local guides to contact. She has an exhaustive knowledge of Sicily. Very much worth the price!!

We received a quick appointment time. He was on time and prepared having read our notes. He didn't spend time on things in which we were not interested and had specific answers and ideas for our more unique family requests. He seemed to understand our concerns and ideas for our trip with younger kids and addressed them. He gave us his opinion on where we should spend our time which was much appreciated. He offered budget options and higher end options as well.

Going to Italy .. first time or again? Consider PUGLIA! And get input from PAOLO -- no matter where you are in planning or refining he should be your next contact. Also - make a side step to Montescaglioso and enjoy a meal there!

Our consultation with Dania about Palermo was great. She clearly knows a lot about the city and was able to share her knowledge in a friendly, useful way. Highly recommended.
