My account was blocked with $350 on the balance simply because the account still had my old address listed, which is located in territory occupied by Russia.

I provided proof of my new address, but they refused to unblock my account and told me that I am subject to an embargo. They also said that I should not worry because I can create a new account, and that my account with the $350 balance may be unblocked someday once the embargo is lifted.

At the moment, they have refused to refund the money.

Since I provided my new address and proof of residence, I believe these actions are unlawful and look very much like fraud.

Horrible customer service, poor communication, unreasonable requests.

I've been with this company who resell certificates for some time. They've been ok in the past, but they fail to unify the communication from them and the companies under them that they resell. I followed the renew instructions and was sent to the wrong place, leading to a month's confusion and ultimately they cancelled our certificate leaving us with code signed by a revoked certificate, the inability to sign any new code, and hours worth of rework to set up a new certificate. Their support team didn't even seem to understand how confusing it was to have renewal instructions sent from two entirely different companies, and then behaved as if I was somehow insane for following the instructions of the company that emailed me and that issued the certificate.

Good value SSL certs and responsive support. Fuss free, recommended.
