Same here as with everyone.. my wife's IRA went from 45k to 31k and that's only because we had to sell 5k gold relatively quick after a year. That sale they had to keep appearance so they offered us more than spot, so we wouldn't get suspicious.
My wife passed away sadly by now, and it kept bugging her till the end.
We lost a lot of money which we could really use (and counted on) to cope with hardship during her last months.
If people go after them with a class lawsuit or so, count us in. I owe it to her.
Because of personal circumstances I cant do anything myself, but I will join up in some joint effort.
They shouldn't be able to get away with this so easy...

I also got robbed with a $49K IRA transfer that they took $26K from me. I see all these great reviews and is it just Fred or his assistant taking the money from us and not the other employees with this company. I called several times before they closed and never got a straight answer. I hope someone does a lawsuit that we can all join. Actual date of experience 9.22.22 and trying to research more into this.

I had purchased $74k in precious metals from this team and now finding out the company is going out of business as I talked to their phone operator just now. My account after purchase was valued at $36k. It's on me for not keeping on this I just knew Gold/Silver was purchased at the right time and was only going up in price. Any lawsuit coming I would love to jump on that train!
Robbed by my dealer
I realize this company no longer exists but I would still like to voice my experience. I purchased $40k in gold and silver. It was sent to a warehouse where the initial statement showed they received only $22k. My gold was purchase at nearly 4 times that day's spot price. The contract says that some money might be withheld for "advertising, office and commission." That means that 18k or 45% of my investment was deducted and never made it to the warehouse. I have been robbed. Shortly thereafter, Gold Alliance was closed/sold. Somewhere in California Dale Westervelt, the former owner and now retired, is sipping some umbrella drink on a beach with my money! That money represents the last of my retirement money and I need it desperately. My financial advisor calculated my investment, and due to the rising price in gold and silver, said is should be worth $94k. Two different lawyers have recommended that I contact the FBI.

They never returned our calls and we only have $36,000 and now they are out of business, be very careful. I’m sure we will be involved in a litigation.

Gold coins sold to me without full disclosure
I purchased $25,000 of gold "easily disposed of" coins 24 months ago. My value dropped by $10,000 when gold was zooming up. Even accounting for supply and demand of coins, how can that be? I was unable to get in contact with anyone and when they finally called me they told me that they were out of business and my value was $15,000. Something does not sound right here. They knew this was my retirement and while they explained that coins were easier to dispose of they did not explain that it would track in the opposite direction as the spot price of gold.
Scam
My husband, 80 yrs. old, sent 15K worth of gold back to GA in July by Fed-Ex. He did not get a tracking # and has not been able to get hold of anyone since. He's also suffering from long-term Covid that almost ended him in Feb.'24 I'm the wife and was against working with this company to begin with so O left him to work it out. He also worked with Fred Adabi... I can't imagine there is any recourse at this point. 15K out the window-great Golden years...

Please keep me in mind to add for lawsuit. We invested 37K, had the same odd rare coins purchased (for probably too much), went to switch after they closed and have a difference of almost 10K!! His explanation about the amount Equity would have would be different, but it now looks like it was after I lost the money. I tried calling and calling. Got the call, after I figured out they were not in business. I do think we should get a case together. This is wrong.

I did sell back my gold in Sept of 2023 but tried calling them again now, Aug 2024, to see if I still had an active account. I thought I still had silver but not sure. I could never get clear answer from them before.
Just Received Notification of GA Closure
Hi David and Virgil, Kyle called and sent me an email today informing me that GA closed its doors and is going into final dissolution in several weeks. After researching my Equity Trust account I've come to the same conclusion as both of you regarding the highly suspect difference between what I invested and what's actually in my account. Probably more GA clients are facing this same situation.
I regret dealing with this company!
I trusted Gold Alliance when I first signed up with them. Then one day I tried to get in contact with them and no one returned my calls for 2 weeks. The sales person I was working with just disappeared. They finally called and said they were going out of business. That’s fine, but I wasn’t upset until I found out the bullion they sold me was not a common denomination and other dealers were puzzled why they sold me 1.25 oz Guineas and .25 oz gold Guineas. I also heard from another dealer the account estimate they sent me was over inflated and they pretty much lied to me. I’m considering legal action.
Great for the purchase . . . not so great on the buyback.
When I purchased some gold and silver from Gold Alliance, Fred Abadi was very helpful and professional and I enjoyed working with him. But when I needed to sell some of my gold, I was sent to Kyle who told me they had to make a 20% profit when they bought the gold back!! Fortunately, the spot price of gold had risen roughly 20% in the meantime so I was able to at least break even on my sale but I'll never use Gold Alliance again when I need to sell my gold. Buyer (actually, seller) beware!!
Excellent company with helpful agents.
Dale and Joni were excellent. They were patient, answered our many questions and were very pleasant. They both spent time to explain everything in great detail that was easy to understand. Joni was amazing at helping to coordinate with my IRA company. It was stress free and smooth from start to finish. Thank you Dale and Joni!

Customer service was great. They called back in a timely manner and answered all my questions throughly. Setting up payment was easy and product was delivered as scheduled. They called to confirm shipment and to verify when received. Would highly recommend talking to them about your gold/silver needs. Tracey and Fred were wonderful. Thank you all.

It is important to understand what a purchase or investment is, versus the fluctuation in prices. Compare to the stock market, this is a safe harbor like the the Real Estate.
Everything, but especially the transparency. We are investing our money ( usually savings from our retirement accounts), and we want to make sure that our money is safe and productive.

My experience was great. I would say at least 4.5 stars. I know there is always room for improvement, but Kyle did an excellent job keeping me informed, answering my questions and making sure I could get what I wanted.
