The Hungry Boar Avis 66

These grew on me. I didn't like them straight away. But I found they are a bit of an acquired taste and I like them after a few times snacking on them. BBQ is deffo the fave without doubt. The sweet compliments the salty and these are salty. Overall I like them. But they wouldn't be my go to snack for meat. I'd stick with soft, well made jerky. If Hungry Boar can make these a little softer and less like a dog treat I'd definitely keep buying ✌🏼

These are pretty tasty, though not something I'd consider for an everyday snack. The BBQ pork and Piri Piri flavours tasted really good, but they are massively let down by their actual protein content.

From a texture and appearance POV, they look a lot like dog treats (my family all questioned me eating them).

I guess there's a reason that manufacturers have copied the Peperami form factor as it's a known snack type. I feel psychologically this product would be better suited to 1 larger stick rather than a pack of mini sticks.

The chicken sticks (though the best from a macros POV) really were not to my liking, and anything with processed cheese in it is always going to be a firm no so I confess I didn't even try them!

Best way I can describe these is that I'd consider them as a service station snack - the sort of thing I might consider picking up on the road, but not part of my daily eating regimen!

I always get bored of the same snacks every day so trying these changed things up for me, also for my daughter too who is a picky eater. The snack being a good source of protein is always a good thing and the variety of flavours meant it wasn't boring. The texture was nice, not to firm and no gristle which I have found in other meat sticks in the past. The cheese loaded ones were so tasty.

Great snacks to have on the go and eye catching branding which I like. It’s refreshing to see something quirky like this come to market and not be like all the other protein based snacks already out there

The hungry bear snacks is a winner in our house. The kids love the snacks especially the piri piri flavour . These are perfect on the go snacks

The Hungry Boar has been the perfect protein snack for playing American football, it’s soft, tasty and keeps me energised without feeling full and slowing me down. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

They just aren't for me. I couldn't get by the texture. The packaging was good though and the variety of flavours is great.

As someone who is always trying to find new ways to get protein into their diet, I was super excited to try The Hungry Boar Sticklers!

My favourite flavours were the Loaded BBQ and Cheese as they packed a flavour punch and were different to other meat snacks on the market.

The package size is great and they’re a nice alternative to jerky, although I’d like the texture to be a bit firmer for my personal taste

The Hungry Boar products are absolutely delicious, my new favourite go to snack! Full of protein, flavour and the texture is just like a salami stick which is a bonus. Great for dogs too, which is lovely for our dog Shae.

I really enjoyed trying the different flavours of this product recently and I’ve definitely found my new favourite snack!! The cheese ones are my favourite but I also really enjoyed the BBQ flavour too! I love that the individual packs are the perfect size for a personal snack! Not too few and not too many sticks in each one! I love the variety of flavour too, they even have a peri peri one for the spice lovers!!

Quick easy snacks to have on the go easy to chuck in your gym bag and fuel your workout my favourite flavours were the flamin’ piri piri and pork.

Took these on a day trip out for an energy boost walking around the maize maze, 3 empty packets later 😂 Safe to say we love them. The cheese flavour were our fave.

Nicely package and presentation, good communication. I got a selection as a gift, but it was not really to my like. The pork and loaded cheese are those that I felt is seems better. Pork very similar to salami and the loaded chesse a salami mix.

Great tasty protein packed snacks! Very easy to carry on the go and flavours are bold and punchy. Personally not my type of snack but my family and even my dog really enjoyed them and I think I would repurchase to use in a pasta dish

Lovely texture and taste.

We love the variety of flavours and the way they were easy to snack on, great for picnics very portable. Particularly handy for after school, enjoyed by kids and adults alike.
