Re-established in June 2025, Good & Fugly exists for one simple reason: to support Australian farmers. We do this by finding a home for both their “good” and their “fugly” produce, the quality fruit and veg that doesn’t always fit the traditional retail mould, but is every bit as fresh and delicious. By delivering seasonal produce straight from Aussie farms to your doorstep with our produce box offerings, Good & Fugly helps farmers move more of what they grow and earn a fairer return for their hard work. Good & Fugly is proudly backed by chef Matt Moran and operates in partnership with OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. Together, we’re working to create a stronger future for farmers while helping more incredible Australian produce find its way onto people’s plates.

smooth ordering, delivery spot on, good variety of vegtables and fruit inthe box, happy

Great service the veg is really good quality but the fruit lets it down. Would prefer a veg only box

After ordering went weeks without confirmation of delivery. Had to send an email to find out when I order was coming.

Every delivery is like Christmas, unboxing each order to discover what surprise selection of delicious in-season fruit & vege has arrived. Super fresh & crunchy produce with a much longer shelf life than supermarket stuff if stored correctly. Extremely easy ordering process & great communication from the delivery team. Receiving unexpected items that we wouldn't have thought to buy adds variety to our meals & prompts us to try new recipes. And of course it feels great to know we're reducing food waste, supporting OzHarvest & local farmers, too.

I was a little uninspired with the contents of my first box which contained items I never bought before and struggled to find recipes to include them but ordered a 2nd one to see what would be included.
Unfortunately, I received mostly the same as before but found the potatoes especially were not fresh but spongy.
By subscribing to this service I was hoping to help farmers who can't sell their 'ugly' produce to the supermarkets. Odd shapes is not a problem but freshness is, and I was very disappointed, to the point that I have now cancelled my subscription.

They should call it not very good and waste of money, it rhymes better also is more accurate, instead of fixing the problem of wasted produce and high cost of living they offer high price points for a few mangled pieces of produce.
Clearly making business out of people trying to be sustainable or save money.
That's what business is but I was expecting some humanity for them to really be part of a solution. Either lost their humanity and don't care or in denial. Not proud to be part of this.

Absolute nightmare to cancel. I just wanted to try a different subscription option as I wanted more fruits but they make you go through six different pages of forms to cancel one subscription, now I will never be going back to this company. This disgusting behaviour should be illegal. MAKE IT EASY FOR CUSTOMERS TO CANCEL.

According to their website, they can deliver to my address (20 minutes out of Canberra). I signed up to a weekly subscription, paid for first order and on the day scheduled for delivery, nothing turned up. I emailed but had no response. 4 days later a refund appeared in my account. I emailed again, asking if I should expect my next delivery and yet again, no response. 2nd delivery did not turn up and still no explanation.

Last Friday (20th Sept) I received my first delivery from Good and Fugly, a Large Veggie Box. Best case scenario, it was an underwhelming box. Worst case scenario, this is a complete scam and rip-off. The box that I received contained about $30-$35 worth of Veggies. This was supposed to be a $57 box on subscription or $63 as a "once off" purchase. Their $57/$63 price point is the price you pay for produce that's apparently the cheaper rejects. Instead, what I got was premium pricing for average, slightly older and some broken veggies. I felt conned by this "business model".
I immediately cancelled by subscription and gave feedback to good and fugly.

A disappointment - not cheaper than vegetables/fruit purchases in most small shops and markets.
The quality of the vegetables was great, but I would have paid half to less than half of what I paid for my box by shopping in one of the fruit and vegetable shops near me - I’m not counting the delivery cost. The delivery process and delivery person were an issue as they were not contactable.
Admin were very quick at offering a refund for the delivery and a small extra box of vegetables. However, I still don’t think it’s a financially viable option for people who already buy fruit and vegetables in smaller shops and at markets, even if I really like the fact this company aims to reduce food waste.

Fantastic produce and value for delivery of my fresh produce each week I love putting the ingredients into ChatGPT and then trying the suggested recipes with common veggies I usually wouldn't buy. Thanks for the nutrition, variety, all while serving such a good cause. Wonderful customer service interactions too 🙏🏽

waste of money,
rotten fruit and veg barely anything to actually use
i got 3 potatoes and 3 sweet potatoes and 1 zucchini with 3 onions that's what i got for veg
potatoes rotten and moldy
i got 3 rotten apples that were bruised and brown, 3 bananas 2 rotten and moldy
a broken celery stick and 3 lemons for $40.00 get real.
best part is i contacted them to let them know and fix this issue
they replied sayin the are soo soo sorry and sent me DM to sort this out... i replied to that DM and surprise surprise no reply after 3 follow-ups
these guys are not here to help us or the farmers that are simply here to source the rejected fruit and veg cheap, cheaper than anyone can given they are rejected offer much lower rates knowing if they don't take it its going to the bin and then serve it us that are paying MORE than we would with organic items
i did the exact same shop from Coles to see what a scam it was and guess what i saved $8 and everything was quality fresh not bruised or moldy.
also, if you look in woolys they have what they call the ODD BUNCH exact same thing all these little giys are trying to do.
they are MIn 30% cheaper than normal price
your better off going to your local family grocer.

Our box was stolen and the customer service team were incredibly friendly and efficient and sent out a replacement the same day. For me this is the sign of a good dtc brand, helping when it matters. The box content is good, in the past I’ve used Oddbox in the UK and Good and Fugly are on par/better

Réponse de Good & Fugly
Pointless to subscribe if you are, as I was, paying more money for ugly fruit and veg than what you buy at Coles.
I paid $40 for $30 worth of ugly fruit and veg in a small box bundle.
