Again, poorly planned move and 3 times the cost

Again, Good Greek planned a 3 hour short term move which stretched into 7 hours and many more charges.
The move was poorly planned and the crew tried their best but were not able to move the furniture timely. The cost went from estimated $800 to $2,400. It was not only expensive, but extremely upsetting as I am on a fixed income.

I would strongly advise to stay away from Good Greek

I would strongly advise anyone considering Good Greek Moving to look elsewhere.

I paid over $6,000 expecting a professional, stress-free move. Instead, I got one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

Before moving day, I provided detailed information about the size of my move so the company could send an appropriately staffed crew. They didn't. Three movers arrived, and by late morning it was obvious they were moving far too slowly to finish in one day. I called Good Greek multiple times throughout the day to express my concerns, and every single time I was told, "They'll be done in another two hours."

That never happened.

Instead of acknowledging they were understaffed or sending additional help, they kept the crew working into expensive overtime while assuring me they were almost finished. By midnight, I finally told them to stop and go home because it was clear they weren't going to finish.

The result? Large pieces of my furniture were left blocking my condominium's common area overnight, and I was fined $500 by my condo association because of it.

The next day, rather than sending additional help, Good Greek actually sent fewer movers than the day before. To make matters worse, the strap securing my televisions and mirrors inside the truck failed during transport, damaging both of my televisions.

The entire move was poorly planned from the beginning. I wasn't charged more because I had more belongings than expected—I was charged more because Good Greek failed to properly staff and manage the move. I repeatedly warned them throughout the day that things were falling behind, and they ignored every opportunity to fix the problem.

What made the experience even worse was what happened afterward. I called several times to discuss the damage, the unnecessary overtime, and the condo fine. Every call went to voicemail, and I never received meaningful follow-up. Once they had my payment, customer service essentially disappeared.

Good Greek markets itself as a premium moving company, but my experience was anything but premium. I ended up with damaged property, a $500 fine, thousands of dollars in moving charges, and a move that should have taken one day but dragged into two because of poor planning.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. If you're trusting a moving company with your home and belongings, I'd recommend choosing one that values planning, communication, and accountability—because that was not my experience with Good Greek.

DO NOT SHIP VALUABLES WITH THIS…

DO NOT SHIP VALUABLES WITH THIS COMPANY. I inherited my great grandmother's piano after my grandmother passed. I had it shipped from Florida to North Carolina. They took the legs off the piano when wrapping it for shipment, and placed them with the piano bench. Prior to delivery, they placed it in their "facility" for storage for a few days. When the piano arrived, it was missing the legs and the bench. I have called a few times and have only been told "they're looking for them." Its been nearly a week now. Its just absurd that I only shipped one item, a piano. The bench and legs are part of that piano...my great grandmother's piano. Its heartbreaking. This sort of mistake is a level of incompetence and negligence that is absurd when your paying $3k to have one item moved. I can not fathom how or why they did not store the legs/bench with the piano or pick up the legs/bench with the piano when picked up for delivery. I attached the picture after they removed the legs and placed them with the bench before wrapping and loading.
If you want to ensure that your items arrive safe, in tact, and together, do not use this company.

Nothing good or Greek about it

Nothing good or Greek about it

They promised me 2 trucks and 6 guys. I got 1 truck and 4 guys for my office move. Should have taken no more than 8-10 hours. It took 16 hours. 3 trips back and forth. Good Greek was notified about the need for the second truck and they kept telling me "truck is coming". No truck came. The 4 guys were totally overwhelmed and could not finish the job without taking many breaks. Everything about this company is slimy, including the lying sales people

highly do not recommend

This experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I moved approximately 0.3 miles and was charged over $1,100, which felt completely unreasonable for the level of service provided.

Before leaving my new home, the movers asked me to leave a review on the spot, despite unresolved issues. They also refused to unload my belongings until payment was made in full, placing me in a pressured and uncomfortable position.

To make matters worse, items were left behind at the pickup location. I was moving by myself and was unable to complete a walkthrough at the original location, so this lack of follow-through caused additional stress and inconvenience.

I did not answer the follow-up call because I was upset about how the situation had been handled. When I later raised my concerns, the general manager repeatedly questioned how I did not notice that items were not unloaded, instead of taking accountability for the mistake. This response was dismissive and made it clear there was no genuine effort to resolve the issue.

I had a terrible experience with Good…

I had a terrible experience with Good Greek Moving & Storage.
I was verbally quoted $169/hour and told the total cost would be around $2,000. Once my belongings were loaded into their truck, the company demanded $4,106.97 and threatened to take my belongings to storage for $500 per night if I refused to pay.

I was with my 7-month-old baby, under stress and pressure, and had no choice but to pay under duress.

After delivery, I discovered property damage: chipped walls, a broken dresser, and two damaged beds — one with a broken electric base no longer working.

I have already filed official complaints with:
• FDACS (Case # 2510-05119)
• FMCSA (Case # 00251274)
• BBB (pending case number)

This experience was emotionally exhausting and financially unfair. I do not recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They Destroyed $5,700 Worth of Our TVs

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - They Destroyed $5,700 Worth of Our TVs
We were repeat customers—our first move with Good Greek went fine, which is why we trusted them again. HUGE MISTAKE.

For our second move (short 30-minute drive within Miami), agent Robert Lopez sold us on "VIP service" and assured us they were the ONLY 100% fully insured moving company. We chose them over Piece of Cake based on this promise.

THE DISASTER:

3 out of 4 TVs DESTROYED - $5,700 worth of OLED TVs completely ruined
TVs wrapped ONLY in blankets—NOT properly boxed as our contract stated
ZERO communication from the company for MONTHS after we filed our claim
Insulting settlement offer of $450 (that's only 8% of actual damages!)
They claim "$0.60 per pound" liability despite Robert assuring us everything was "fully insured"
We were NEVER asked to declare the value of our furniture or offered additional insurance coverage
The company REFUSES to provide their insurance information even when requested by our attorney
They went from carefully boxing our TVs the first time to just throwing blankets on them. Now they're ghosting us and hiding behind fine print we were never properly informed about.

DO NOT trust this company with your valuables. We lost nearly $6,000 and countless hours fighting for what they owe us.
