Before I got my final decision about breast augmentation, I'm was browning many sites with private clinics in Istanbul as I knew there I could find what fits me. Cannot advise avoiding him enough. This so-called clinic is money hungry and in my view has no care for patients, I don't understand why I ever expected otherwise frankly.

I flew into istanbul and did all my pre-surgery prep before even having my consultation with the doctor... can you imagine that? blood tests, anesthesia assessment, ALL that before even seeing the doctor FOR THE FIRST TIME? That tells you where the doctor's head is at, they absolutely want you to get something done. Good medical practice obviously would be meeting the patient and discussing things with them prior to doing any kind of surgery prep... not for Dr Atsal. The teams prep you for surgery first and only then does the doctor consult with you. As I've found out this is routinely how they deal with all patients. Can you imagine the kind of pressure that adds onto a patient? definitely tells you how much the doctor cares about doing the right thing for you...which is that he doesn't, he just wants you to pay up. What good doctor put surgery prep BEFORE a consult?

When it came to a consultation mine lasted 10 mins max and it took place in a hospital bed with me wearing a hospital robe...Again tells you where the doctor's head is at doesn't it? Have you ever heard of someone having a consultation in a hospital bed? in a robe? its insanity! Literally right after those 10 minutes were up I went directly to surgery. No reflection time at all, you are a quick buck to these people and nothing more. Noone including the doctor treats surgery like the serious decision that it is...

I went to discuss getting my nose done and even after I told the doctor many times I wasn't sure about doing my nose and kept on saying no to morphs that the staff kept on showing... they kept on showing me more and more morphs... endlessly. After i semi-settled on one the doctor didn't explain anything at all regarding the morph and what it involved. I asked about my nostrils and only after i asked him did I find out he wanted to perform an alarplasty...its NOT up to the patient to understand procedures! the doctor should explain them in detail AND leave room for reflection. I said no to the alarplasty (I don't want small michael jackson nostrils!) and was never shown an updated morph of my nose to help me better understand what I would look like. So now i have massive flared nostrils and dealing with a major lack of projection.... The doctor also lowered my bridge which i NEVER asked for. This also WASNT WHAT THE MORPH SHOWED. He also did a turbinate reduction that was never discussed in consult...once again a great doctor all around!

I wish i never did my nose, literally the second i woke up from surgery i KNEW it was a mistake. I cried my entire first night in the hospital. But of course I payed up so they got what they wanted...now its up to me to pick up the pieces...I tried to stay positive in the beginning esp when they said it was all just swelling but i can tell you this mistake haunts me everyday. If you go to a doctor please go to one who understands the importance of reflection time, the importance of properly explaining procedures and a doctor who doesn't rush you into doing something as serious as surgery on your FACE. You need a doctor with a human touch, in my opinion this is not at all the case with Dr Atsal OR his team.

The doctor also advertised free revisions on his instagram but once again that was also a lie....Why wouldn't it be? its a business and you a product to them and nothing more. I can go on and on and on, please avoid. Dr atsal nor his staff are the right people for you. My nose looks awful and my mental health is awful too. I've lost so much of myself after this.

Edit: I said I liked my results AFTER you said it was just swelling and I decided to trust you. Now that I’m a year post op I can see it’s not swelling and it’s a bad result…I couldn’t even see how low my bridge was because of how swollen I was! I never left a good comment ever, this is the first time I’m using trustpilot, so this is a lie. I’ve also been notified earlier today you reported my review AFTER you threatened me into deleting it yesteday….Awful business with awful practices. So everyone knows this is how the gorkem atsal clinic operates behind closed doors- will threaten you into deleting your bad review and if you don’t they’ll straight up report it to keep it off the site. Anyway, what would be worth mentioning would be when I told you about my awful experience you told me you know how to run a clinic and don’t need me to give you any feedback….I’m your patient and that’s how you treat us? If you’re a potential new patient, AVOID. My experience during AND post says it all. And yes I have mental health issues…FROM YOU and this experience! Once again, AVOID! Also NO I asked for a refund PERIOD - I never asked for one to erase my comment. That’s why its STILL HERE.

My overall experience was very good starting from travelling to Istanbul and back to UK. My assistant was Hilal and she has been proved a great asset to me in this journey. The whole team was very nice. They took care of me very well. I struggled a little bit with language because not everyone in the medical can speak English but they do understand you very well so one can manage for a night in hospital. I am waiting to see my final results.

I went for breast implants and up lift and what a outstanding job the doctor did.
My full experience was organised by yasemain she did a fantastic job she's a lady that actually cares about the patients from start to finish.
If your think of going to Turkey for any treatment please get in touch with her she's fantastic.
Overall my experience was 10 /10 .

Yes, I waited six months to see the results and evaluate the work! However, unfortunately, the results were not good. I had a facelift surgery as well as a procedure under the eyes, but there is excess sagging of the skin under the eyes, and I was not satisfied with the result. Nevertheless, the team was good and the doctor was kind, but unfortunately, the results were not as expected.

I had rhinoplasty on the 20th April, I can honestly say Dr Görkem is a great doctor. He was so kind and welcoming when I first met him at his office, it really put me at ease. Dr Görkem was so attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted but also gave his professional opinion on what he thought would suit my face aesthetically - natural and enhancing my features. I’m only a week post op but I am really happy with my results, Dr Görkem has given me a new found confidence, which I am so grateful for!

The team were all so lovely, but I have a special place in my heart for Gülce. Nothing was ever too much trouble, I was always met with kindness and reassurance! If there was ever an issue, she was always at hand to help. She was absolutely the best🤍

Also a special mention to our chauffeur Mesut. What a lovely, lovely man! So kind and made such a big effort to make me feel welcome and getting to know me on a personal level. Please see that he gets the recognition for being such a memorable part of my trip! An absolute pleasure to have known him!

I travelled from UK to Istanbul for blephoroplasty (eyes), neck and face lift. I had a good recommendation from a friend who lives in Istanbul and had same work done beautifully. The Team is very kind and Dr Görkem is so friendly and reassuring at every stage of the process. I felt safe in his hands and he is an excellent surgeon. After the surgery I woke in my hospital room and felt comfortable and well looked after. I never really had pain. Just some swelling and tightness. These are perfectly normal and reduce over a few weeks. I travelled back to UK after one week and returned to work after two weeks though I am keeping my neck covered as there's some bruising due to additional liposuction. This is normal as bruising comes out later with liposuction and lasts longer. The scars from my face-lift are behind my ears and these will take longer to fade. However, they are easy to hide with your hair. It's really important to follow the guidance provided by Dr Görkem and his Team. I am in contact with them everyday for advice and support. They are always happy to hear from me and see up to date photos as my face and neck improve. I look so nice and was so happy with my experience with Dr Görkem and the Team. I recommend 100%

Recently on the 1st April 2024 I under went a deep plane face-lift an upper lip lift an upper an lower eye surgery an arm lift 💪 The first 48hrs I was uncomfortable but in no pain at all an was looked after so well in Turkey an so was my husband 😀 I'm only 15dys post op an the results are amazing already an my arms are just what I wanted an needed as given me sooo much more confidence an the team who looked after me were attentive an communication was 24hr a day I want to thank gulcie a glowing report with responding to ALL my questions etc An omg both surgeons are amazing at what they do the stitching is fantastic I'm soooo happy only regret was I wish I had done it earlier an the results are already showing 😀

I had abdominoplasty & 360 lipo on the 4th April 2024 by Dr Gorkem. The journey was incredibly smooth from start to finish with minute details taken into consideration. Although I undertook the journey alone, the team were always to hand and went above and beyond at all times of day to ensure my comfort.

My name is Sabrina and my family of 4 and I came from Australia to get rhinoplasty done with Dr Grokem Astal. While being in a different country I was a little nervous picking a Dr but speaking to the nurses from Dr Grokem team they made me feel so comfortable and at ease.
They would respond so quickly and would answer all of questions.

Going to Turkey and meeting the Dr and his team for the first time felt like I’ve known them for a long time. They were so sweet and took us through every step. My family and I were so comfortable and happy with Dr Grokem.
