They will not pay any claims

Do not use this insurance company, they are thieves. They took my monthly subscription then cancelled my policy a couple of days later. So imagine what they would be like if you tried to make a claim. Please go to an honest and reputable insurance company instead

Been with this company for 4 years

Been with this company for 4 years. Customer service is not the best. Terrible soft skills and agents speak to you in a very unprofessional manner. I only spoke to 1 guy his name was Blessing that actually gave me a great customer journey during the entire 4 years. The price was ok but towards the end they tried to charge me over 2k a month to insure which was ridiculous. Please fix the tone of voice with your agents!

Stay away.

I’m extremely concerned about the way I’ve been treated as a customer. I reached out for help with a genuine issue, and instead of being supported, I was made to feel like I was going mad. I was repeatedly told that I never had a service add-on, despite the fact that I clearly did. Being dismissed like that is not only frustrating, it’s deeply worrying.

This isn’t just poor customer service — it raises serious questions about how customer records are being handled and whether systems are accurate or even reliable. If something as basic as a service add-on can simply “disappear” or be denied, what else is being mishandled?

The lack of accountability and refusal to properly investigate the issue is alarming. I felt ignored, brushed off, and made to doubt my own understanding of what I had paid for. That is not acceptable under any circumstances.

I will be escalating this further, as this kind of treatment and potential mismanagement of customer information is something that regulatory bodies and the ombudsman would likely take very seriously.

I would strongly advise others to double-check everything and keep thorough records, as based on my experience, you may not be able to rely on the information held about your account.

A quote is a quote

I had gotten a quote from confused.com that I thought was a fair price. I decided to purchase the insurance and followed all prompts to purchase. At the last prompt I filled in the information ,however,I kept getting an error message at the point of identifying myself.I was given a number and told to call to complete my transaction. So,I called the number and was told I will have to pay a fee for completing my purchase via telephone rather than the app. And from that point other charges were added to the price of the policy. Although the policy is a bit cheaper than my previous policy. I'd rather a quote to be honoured at the point of purchase. No to have other hidden fees added afterwards. I think all the additional fees should be reflected in the quote and that it there is a problem with your website accepting information to complete a purchase I shouldn't have to pay for it.
When the purchase was finalised the agent just hung up on me. She didn't verify anything. I hadn't to call back and wait for a return call. If I didn't need the insurance I would have no continued the purchase and I won't be referring it to any of my family, friends or large network of clients 😐

First time I used them and definitely…

First time I used them and definitely the last, I can’t stress enough not to use!had so many issues with them and the customer service was awful, never had a problem with any other insurers before but these were a nightmare throughout. Tried to take extra money off me aswell along with terrible customer seevice

2nd year with goskippy and my last

2nd year with goskippy and my last , changed a vehicle and was over charged for the pleasure , £172 extra for 6 months , if I was to insure the car it would be only £400 for a year.
Direct line never charged silly amounts for a change ...time to go back to them , thought I was saving money but I was wrong .

Worst experience ever from a car insurance company.

They made an error on THEIR side and are saying I owed them £66. This has been going on nearly a year, they haven't listened, they're useless.

Because I am looking to apply for a mortgage shortly I have just paid them the £66 because they are destroying my credit score. AVOID. This company needs closing down. Shame on you.

Amazing experience

This is my first experience , it was very simple and outstanding . They give me 3/4 offers and per annually is very cheap. I definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you

Amending policy

Able to amend my car insurance policy to add my partner on at a really reasonable price. I got a call back later on in the day as there was an issue during the first call, they had solved the issue and all was sorted in the end. Thank you!
