I had the privilege of joining the Lofoten Photographic Tour with Giulio. Everything was professionally organised. He had great spots picked out for us each day and we were able to stop when we saw a scene we wanted to photograph. We saw the Northern lights on two occasions and were given great tips on camera settings and composing the scene.
Giulio spent time with everyone giving tips and checking on our progress. I always felt help was there when I needed it.
The accommodation was excellent and spacious. Giulio made sure we had everything we needed.
I highly recommend the trip and Go To Photo Tour.

This was my second tour with Giulio. It was at least as impressive, instructive and productive as the first.
Thanks to Giulio's extensive local knowledge and his almost limitless patience, we were able to get some wonderful impressions and beautiful shots even in unfavorable weather.
Once again, I received some very valuable tips from him regarding photography and image processing.
Giulio is a very pleasant, experienced tour guide, to whom I owe another week of wonderful impressions. Last but not least, this time he also ordered the Northern Lights for us.

I recently participated in GoToPhotoTour Tenerife's Astrophotography workshop and tour led by Giulio Cobianchi and Christian Høiberg, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! They both are incredibly knowledgeable and provided personalized guidance, making complex photography techniques easy to understand for all skill levels.
The locations were breathtaking, offering opportunities for capturing landscapes for both Sunsets and Astrophotography. The hands-on approach allowed us to immediately apply what we learned as a lot of techniques were new to me like capturing the Milky Way Panorama.
The atmosphere from the time they picked us up from Tenerife airport was supportive and friendly, fostering a great sense of camaraderie among participants. The organization, the hotel where we stayed, and driving to and around places, were all flawless, allowing us to focus entirely on photography.
We also had a few advanced editing sessions which in themselves were worth the trip :)
Overall, this workshop was fantastic for enhancing my astrophotography skills, exploring stunning places, connecting with fellow enthusiasts and making incredible memories. Highly recommended!

I have just returned from Spain where I joined the “Between Lava and Stars” phototrip to Tenerife hosted by Giulio Cobianchi and Christian Hoiberg.

I’ve been on other photography workshops where I’ve come away feeling like I haven’t learnt anything, not so with Giulio and Christian. This was my first time doing astrophotography and the guys were patient and knowledgeable – they didn’t do it for me, but coached me in scouting for the best compositions, camera set-up, focusing in the dark, both foreground and for the stars, and the all important processing workflow. We had a great group, shot lots of varied subjects (not just the milky way), had fun, and I’ve come away from the trip with not just great images but with a solid foundation of knowledge I can build on.

Its now the third time i have been with Gophototour and it was really again an incredible journey. Compared to other photographers i have been in the past, Giulio provides all the support you might need to find the right composition for your picture/s no matter how experienced you are. You are in the middle and not the photographer. He explains in detail and helps you to apply the right settings to your camera to get astonishing pictures. He has spotted fantastic locations in advance and modifies the trip to meet the needs of the group and to respond to changing weather conditions. the feeling you will get very quickly is that you are amongst friends. He is an expert in focus stacking and milky way pictures and helps you in post-processing of the raw material. Overall i can really recommend to join Giulio !

I have quite a few photo trips behind it. And believe me, I've experienced it, it happens that the accompanying photographer is the first to stand in the best spot and take the best shots himself, after it, offering only some guidance to the inexperienced participants. As a more experienced photographer, that offers no added value to me as I can also scout locations myself. To put it bluntly: I am not paying to fund the organiser’s own photography trip. Therefore, I have become more critical in who I travel with. Giulio's work appealed to me and I saw enough opportunities to learn from it. And it did not disappoint, on the contrary. All attention goes to the participants and everyone is thought of. Even though I photograph quite a lot, I learned. Attention is also paid to post-processing and there is time to submit a photo for post-processing, during and after the trip. Besides the group editing session, Giulio spent time to sit down with me personally, talking over all steps he advised for the specific photos. That was of great value to me. Besides, it is an advantage that Go To Photo Your knows the areas they are guiding very well, allowing us to respond optimally to weather conditions and opportunities. In terms of rates (not at the top of the market), I found the price-quality ratio excellent, especially because they work with small groups and often two guides, establishing a guiding ratio of 3:1, which is a luxury. I will soon be going on another trip with them, this time to Tenerife. This indicates that I can confidently recommend Go To Photo Tour to anyone.

We‘ve been on the Lofoten tour with Giulio and Stefan… what shall we say… it was an amazing trip. A lot of fun, inspiring talks and a lot of take aways from photographical perspective. We can highly recommend this trip!

It was my first tour with Giulio. He is a fantastic guide with humor, calmness and professionalism. Giulio took us to exciting places with fantastic light in the Lofoten Islands in all weather conditions. I am very grateful to Giulio for the fantastic time. Questo è il terzo tour con Giulio, sono passato dalle dolomiti alle lofoten arrivando all’ultimo Tenerife.

Ho potuto fotografare uno dei cieli notturni più belli di sempre, tramonti pazzeschi e paesaggi davvero intensi avendo la possibilità di avere Giulio a disposizione con i suoi consigli e le sue spiegazioni.
dovendo riassumerla in due parole direi che è stata un avventura a 10.000 giri ma leggera perchè vissuta tra persone bellissime, infondo la fotografia è prima di tutto condivisione no?

Thanks to the professionalism of Giulio and to the nature of the Lofoten Islands for the great photo tour and the incredible locations. We were extremely fortunate in having 5 nights of Northern Lights on 6 days. Giulio was extremely well prepared and organized offering a day by day tour through the magic of Norway. Do not miss the chance to participate to his photo tour. We were in Lofoten from the 8th to the 14th of March 2022. Alessandro, Marco, Francesco, Valerio, Paola, Max, Annamaria and Roberta.

I have been once in winter in the Lofoten and the second time with in the Dolomites. Both tours were just great. I learned a lot and also had a lot of fun - absolute recommendation - I would always book again.

We had a great experience with three days of auroras one after the other. Giulio is a skilled photographer who is sincerely enthousiast about sharing his outstanding expertise with night photography. He is also passionate about auroras and Lofoten; thus with him you have the best chances to see the northern lights in a wonderful scenario, most likely a remote beach with mountains in the background illuminated by the moonlight... maybe not always easy and confortable, but definitely unforgettable!

I joined the phototour in 2018 in Tenerife. It was perfectly organized and planned. I had the full help with every trouble I could have (from picking to go to the hotel, to the many questions during the workshop...). We were staying in a 4 stars hotel in Los Cristianos, one of the most beautiful city of the island. During this 7 days we went all arround the island, among mounts, beaches and the Teide volcan. We learnt in these places how plan, shoot and make the post production of every kind of situation we could find (sunset, sunrise and my favourite, the milkyway at night). The lessons were clear and super interesting. The way of explenation made sure that we memorize everything super quickly. We visited and shoot many breathtaking places, having fun and learning together.
In these 7 days I learnt:
- what gear do I need
-how to use that gear
-how to plan a shot in differt conditions and contexts
- how to compose a photo
- how to shoot in any time of the day and night
-how to do the post production of my photos
The phototour was absolutely worth it!

I had the pleasure to join one of the Dolomites tour and it was just amazing! Everything was perfectly planned and Giulio's great knowledge about photography and his capacity in finding the right spots at the perfect time it is just mindblowing! We got the chance to photograph wonderful landscapes under his attentive eye, and the pictures I took will always be a great reminder of a memorable experience! Highly recommended, totally worth joining!

Super Dolomiten Fototour. Viele schöne Spots gesehen und dabei einiges an Foto Techniken dazu gelernt. Würde immer wieder eine Tour bei Giulio buchen.
