They cheated me
I began working for GPFans.com, where I was given 9-day trial shifts to see if I could gel well with the company. However, I was terminated within three days with the reason that I was not capable of writing according to the company's standards. I wasn't neither given a chance to rectify my mistake nor was I given formal training on the publication's writing style. I am only being paid for the three days I worked. And there was no proper communication that stated that the nine days I was hired for trial shifts could be terminated by them at any given time.

The readers are better writers than the writers.
The readers comments/conversations are great. The staff writers on the other hand are rank amateurs who think a silly tabloid headline on top of a non-story makes up for the lack of any writing ability.
