ANY COMPANY THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT ECO 4 GRANTS IS A SCSMMING, PARASITE. STEALING FROM ILL INFORMED CLIENTS. YOU PREYING SCUM GIVE THE INDUSTRY A BAD NAME AND SHOULD BE SANCTIONED.

Lost in translation or in the interface
Made very clear that I was interested in a quote to replace our conservatory windows. The only visit I got was by a company not even offering that. Clearly, something is not working.

GreenMatch passed my details to 4 solar panel companies, all contacted me within 3 days. Within 6 weeks, one of these had installed my panels (SolarHome)

You can’t trust them to refer you to decent contractors
I was contacted by three solar panel companies, two of which used really dodgy practices. One claimed to be certificated by MCS but was not and did not return my deposit. I had to claim it back via the credit card provider. The other company used hard sell tactics and then offered to reduce the price in return for good reviews and referrals to our friends. This was all contrary to the code of practice which green energy suppliers are meant to sign up to.
GreenMatch do not seem to check out the contractors at all, despite saying they are ‘reputable’.
I sent a complaint last August and have heard nothing from this company until today when they asked for a review!

Green match saves so much money
Though we used green match too late in the day and had committed to the really expensive project solar , it really is worth gooing to the other solar panel installers out there. If only we had found greenmatch sooner, they would have saved us at least 4k. Please use with trust

Air Source Heat Pump suppliers
You put me in touch with several suppliers and installers of Air Source Heat Pumps and I was able to obtain a number of proposals. One of those (proposed by boilerguide) ended up with the contract and did a superb job. So I'm really grateful.

The guy was not friendly putting on…
The guy was not friendly putting on smaller size cooper pipes than 25 mm
Didn’t put the boiler where I wanted it also working too fast to do more jobs elsewhere when should of taken his time not rushing and making a complete mess out of the place

Not an instant quote online…
You will not get an instant quote online, you will get phones call from companies all over the country wanting to come to your house and give you a real quote. This gets annoying after a month ( in fairness to those making phone calls, they are usually polite and annoyed at the website too ).

We would like to point out that, for a qualified engineer to give you an accurate quote, they almost always undertake a site visit to see the exact requirements, placement and any additional works that might be required to complete your instalation.

Search for plumber!
Received 3 possible tradespeople very quickly. 2 contacted us within a day and came round to give quotes.
Quick and responsive.
Turned out we did the work ourselves in the end but the guys were very helpful.

Found a CH installer faster than using…
Found a CH installer faster than using other routes. Got three companies one of which game me the most acceptable quote and did the job fast enough. This was a broken boiler replacement, so speed was important since it was winter.

Don't bother
Still no contact, as Greenmatch promised, with any Heatsource pump contractor. All there has been is contact from some window replacement companies. Their involvement seems to me just a method to secure income for window replacement companies.

Good quality companies responding quickly
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the companies who GreenMatch selected to quote for my solar panel installation. All were properly accredited and knowledgeable and all responded within one day. By talking to four different companies I got a good range of perspectives on what system would suit me best, and received four competitive quotes. Very positive experience overall.
