Wow, what a refreshing company
Wow, wow, wow. This was certainly a refreshing policy setup. I have many cars with other insurers of classics, fine till you want to speak to them, even Lancaster never called back and when I did I gave up after 25 minutes and that's new business.
Hagerty on both occasions answered the call in under a minute, both agents (apologies did not get their names) were clear, professional and sorted it all with no issues. The website is leagues ahead, they have an email (which others don't) so I cannot recommended highly enough.
The policies I have with Footman James, Adrian Flux and Lancaster will all move over on expiry.

Poor customer service experience
I obtained a quote to insure my car for a track day. It was competetive but I had a couple of questions for them. I called them first thing Monday and spoke to a young man who said he didnt have "the system" to manage my query and that nobody else was available. He suggested that I replied to the quote asking for someone to call me back. 96 hours later I have yet to hear from them, Needless to say I insured my car with someone else!

….the hills are alive with the sound of my Berlin Taxi! following 6 years of storage my, one of only 2.4 million, 1985 Mercedes-Benz W123 230e saloon will shortly be released into the wild. only ever could one Classic Car Insurance Company be trusted to insure this, to me, priceless companion - it had to be - Hagerty Classic Car Insurance! no shopping around - straight to The Master Bespoke Specialist! the on-line application was very straightforward to submit - concluded with a one to one Client Support consultation resulting in a most agreeable policy settlement.
