Thought there was a lack of contact re the Auction . I wasn’t informed that some of the Items and which items were to be auctioned the month after . Still not given a date for them as yet, luckily i made a list of all the auction items so know what is still to go to Auction. Thank you for the updates re selling prices . Regards Lois Jenkinson

From taking my jewellery for valuation, then deciding to sell , I was well supported by all staff I came into contact with.
My estimates reached there value or more so I was extremely happy.

This is my first experience of using Hansons and I am very impressed. The staff are very approachable and I have been kept informed throughout the whole process. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had a valuer come to our house and she was lovely. Just like a friend. Nothing was too much trouble. We decided to go to the auction the at time we had been to one. Really enjoyed it. My review concerns Hanson's at Etwall, Derbyshire. A big thank you and shout out to Katy Beardmore, who was lovely, professional and efficient. She was able to give a fair valuation for the items I brought in, taking the time to look at each of the objects in turn. Daniel also valued fairly the silverware. My siblings and I used Hanson's frequently 10 years ago when we were clearing out our parents house. Back in the day we would be able to bring the antiques on a Friday morning, have them valued and put into the following auction. This felt much easier and less stressful in comparision to nowadays having to ring up, explain what type of antiques and make an appointment. I understand that times have changed and Hanson's has expanded, but I do miss that personal touch and of course the cup of tea !

They were quick to respond to our request for valuations. Offering a number of different ways we could do this. The valuer who came to our house, was very respectful and made it an easy decision to use Hansons.

From my initial enquiry at Etwall to collection from Royston my experience of dealing with this auction house has been excellent. In this day and age it's such a pleasure to come across such excellent customer service.

Initial valuation was easy and friendly and ultimately a fairly accurate value was given, from the result of the auction.

Have used Hansons as auctioneers before, however their postal department is excellent and most helpful, especially with a difficult item.

I have found the communication system with this firm to be excellent, whether it is Mr Hanson or Joy in the office. Replies are swift and informative. Payment is a bit slow but it does get credited to your account. It would be helpful if all the charges were deducted immediately after auction so you know straight away how much you are going to get.

Very friendly lady guided me through the process as I was an auction selling novice. I was kept informed throughout and was very pleased that the estimate was exceeded.
