Horrible experience :-( I accessed H-C via an email from Quicken, since I occasionally print business-size paper checks using Quicken. The checks were given an estimated delivery of two weeks. One month later no word, no delivery, nothing, nada. I went to the site to contact customer service, there's no phone number or on-line chat, only a form buried on some support page. I sent a message requesting the status of my order and never received a response. A week later, though, I went back to the Orders page on my account page and found the order status was "Cancelled" - with no explanation (grrr!) The only positive outcome of my experience was that they didn't charge my card for the submitted order (whew!) OK, I'm done! I'll look for a different supplier who actually wants my business and can actually deliver an order!

If it were up to me there would be no stars! I have been ordering persoanl checks from you guys for yrs but since ive moved and changed my address y'all have completely lost your damn minds! Since i moved ive ordered checks 3 times and guess what NEVER HAVE I RECIEVED MY ORDER ON FREAKING TIME.......IVE HAD TO REORDER EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME.......HOW CAN YOU MISTAKE KANSAS CITY MISSOURI WITH NORTH CAROLINA, TENNESSEE ST LOUIS MISSOURI FROM TEXAS? LIKE OTHER PEOPLE I NEED THOSE CHECKS WHEN THEIR SUPPOSE TO BE HERE......THIS LAST ORDER WAS DONE ON AUG 28TH IT IS NOW SEPT.23rd I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY TOLD ME THEY'LL HAVE SOMEONE CALL ME....NO CALL BACK! WHERE THE (BLEEP) ARE MY CHECKS? IM SICK OF THE(BLEEP)!
This review is done by a gurlfriend thts tired of seeing my boyfriend stress out(he's got high bp btw)evry single time he orders checks! This is a problem that obviously needs to be paid attn to not by some foreign customer service rep but by the damn CEO of the company......i don't give a damn how long y'all hve been in business SOME DAMN BODY NEEDS TO GET OFF THEIR LAZY RICH BUTT AND DO SOMETHING MORE PRODUCTIVE!

Wish I read the reviews to start with. I ordered checks through them as my bank recommended. I even paid extra for the tracking. USPS said they were delivered but they were not. Absolutely can not talk with a live person at Harland Clarke. Get caught up in their automated system and when you think you are being connected to a live person, the system tells you to go to their website and hangs up. No luck with USPS either. Can not get a response there. Best if you do not order from this site.

My initial order was not delivered because of an incomplete address. I called them to re-order and was told I would have new checks in a week.
After two weeks I tried to call and just selected anything in the menu to be able to talk to a human being. I was told that my order was on hold because my bank needed to verify my address. If I hadn’t called, I don’t think I ever would have known this and my checking account was already debited for the checks that I had ordered. Their website is pointless and their phone system is absolutely awful. Many times they just disconnect you, so you have to try and choose some thing like “cancel my order” so that you get to talk to a real person. I will never order from them again and I also told my bank that they are horrible to deal with.

I ordered some checks from Harland through my bank around the end of December, 2022. Harland withdrew the money for my order on January 11th, 2023. It's now August 2023 and I've still never gotten my checks! I had to put a stop payment on the order, close my account down and open a new one because my checks are out there somewhere with all my financial info on them! My bank won't give me a refund either. They only offered my next order of checks for free. First, it's not FREE, I already paid for them! Second, I'm not about to make another order of checks from Harland to get lost out there somewhere again! I would give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could! I will NEVER EVER order from Harland Checks again!

There are layers and layers before getting to customer service. There is no way to "search" the site for a return. The company sent an "accessory" I did not purchase and makes it as hard as possible to send it back. I have always hated this company, but since so many have chosen not to use checks, they're even worse.

Never in my life seen any business to be this BAD. waisted hours still get no help.

When I received my checks, they now come in stacks of 40 not 20 and they do not tear off properly at all. Do not recommend. I will never purchase again.
Before Harland Clarke makes a change like this, try tearing your checks off first.

I recently ordered checks from "Harland Clarke". I wish I had checked the reviews before ordering. When the checks arrived, they lacked information. There was a notice that said, "Please inspect before using" and "Immediately call our customer service department if you find and error." No phone number or email were given. After multiple phone calls and internet searches, I finally was able to find a number to call, however, after giving them the required information, I was informed that they could not help me. Don't use this service!

on hold for 90 minutes - still no one picks up. checks lost enroute. will never use again. the worst.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. Checks were ordered from this company in early April. They arrived on 4/27/23 with the incorrect address on the checks. I was told then that new checks would be sent out and it would take 2 weeks. On 5/19/23 I was told they "were going through a security check and there was nothing they could do". On 5/23/23 I received the checks WITH THE WRONG ADDRESS ON THE CHECKS, AGAIN. I was told on 5/23/23 that they would send me new checks with the correct address and I still don't have them. Now I've been on hold with them for 46 minutes. They don't answer their phone.

Sure wish I could rate it a zero. Literally the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. Use ANY company other than this one. I would trust Bernie Madoff with my check printing needs before I would go through these buttholes again. AWFUL.

All week I’ve been trying to order my checks online. I enter everything completely. No confirmation if they were ordered. Always gives me the date last ordered. This website is a disaster you cannot speak with a customer service representative. Seriously you need someone to answer the phone…

They put the wrong address on my checks and shipped to an old address after I changed everything online

Criminal corporate. While ordering checks they kept flooding me with non relevant purchase suggestions, in my case masking an address label order suggestion as a discounted check printing order. Realizing the mistake the moment i got their order confirmed webpage, attempted to reverse it, without success. 0 response to both mail and phone.
Called up my bank, Meridian, whose representative talked to them about cancelling the address label order. Harland Clarke, flatly refused to carry out my bank Meridian's request. Have returned their mailed address labels, only to find a few days later that they debited my account anyway.
Stay away from this corporate criminal enterprise.

We ordered 1 "free" order of checks (Duplicate 75 checks) AND 2 Standard Register - 2 pack, 3 units.
We received 3 books of Checks and 1 Register.
It even has pictures on our Order Confirmation of what was ordered!!
Seriously, how can they be so incompetent and still be in business. Now I have to call (ha ha ha) to see how they are going to fixing this. Date of order listed.
Edit: We finally received them almost 9 days later. We'll order the free checks, Then go to Costco or Sam's club to buy the registers.

Ordered my checks end of February shipped first week in March. It is now April18 and I still don't have my checks!!!!
No one will help me. they told me to contact my credit union. Which I did. They can't do anything.
Can't talk to a Real person.
Don't order from them!!!

This company Epicly fails at having Zero customer service to speak to. Call any of their 800 numbers and go through any of the prompts each and every time you will get a final automated response that says thank you for calling please shop us on our website "goodbye" 8 Times I've tried to talk to customer service about a reprint.

Zero times I got through.

Take your business elsewhere and if you are the Bank that hires these clowns to support your company. Look elsewhere!

2 weeks for $6 standard delivery.

I didn't even know 2 week shipping was a thing. They do not tell you unless you call.

Thank you very little. $6 for 2-week delivery. As someone who owns a small ecommerce store, I can tell you that is robbery. From a company that is doing hundreds of thousands of orders. Just blatant robbery.

This has to be the worst web site and customer service I have ever experienced. The web site will only allow me to order 80 checks...not more, not less. Those will last about 4 months. After rooting around for 15 minutes, I tried to call. You cannot change your order quantity with their automated attendent, and you cannot get to a customer service rep, no matter what buttons you push. I have now wasted over an hour trying to buy checks. I will NEVER try to buy checks from these morons again. There has to be another solution. I bank at Huntington and these morons are their default check supplier.
