I had a really good experience with Harper Tait from start to finish. Buying an engagement ring is obviously a pretty important purchase, so I had quite a few questions along the way, but George made the whole process very easy.

He was friendly, helpful and always quick to get back to me. I never felt pressured into making a decision, and he took the time to make sure I was happy with everything before going ahead.

When I finally picked up the ring, I was really impressed with how it turned out. It looked even better in person than I expected, and I’m very happy with the choice I made.

My partner and I made an appointment with George and from the very beginning it all went so beautifully smooth. He made us understand everything about rings, materials, what is safe to go for what is less safe etc. He truly works with your wishes to make you a ring that you love but it is also a safe design that will last you a lifetime. There is absolutely 0 pressure and obligation to do anything after the first meeting however after we decided to go with them the process was flawless. We bought the diamond, received CAD images followed by a resin model and a few weeks later after that we collected the ring which was better than I ever imagined. George is very passionate about his work and he is very keen to answer any questions you have at any time during the process. There are no hidden fees and he will be very transparent with you throughout the process.

We recieved very good customer service, with George being very accommodating of our requests for the rings. This was very much appreciated, especially since we requested our rings to be 14 carat white gold.
In addition, we never felt rushed throughout the process, and they were very understanding of us also looking at other jewellers.

For an individual that knows nothing about jewellery and does not wear any at all, I came across Harper Tait via the Hatton Garden website and this was the most rated store.

I was served by Paul on both occasions. I bought an engagement ring there and then came back with my wife for our wedding rings. Paul and George were absolutely helpful and very knowledgeable. What's amazing is they offer servicing on their products for free such as size changing, cleaning etc.

In terms of pricing, it's very reasonable. This is the place to be due to this and the bespoke service.

Not knowing anything about diamonds or engagement rings, I decided I would go to Hatton Gardens. I had a number of consultations with various suppliers and retailers within the local area and gained some vital knowledge from each to aid my decision. My last consultation of the day was at Harper Tait, I arrived at their office and was greeted with a warm and professional welcome. We sat down and George gave me a brief introduction to the company and its history, I could immediately see the passion and love these guys have for their craft. Unlike the previous consultancies, there was no pressure to buy immediately and he was very attentive to get me exactly what I wanted within my budget. He did not come across as a salesman attempting to make a quick sell, he really understood my desire to find the right ring. We went through numerous designs and he presented me with lots of examples of shapes, sizes and materials. By the end of the consultation, I was 100% sure this was the correct company for me. I ended up procuring the most stunning bespoke ring and since the proposal, my partner has received tons of compliments! I will be recommending them too all my family and friends in the future!
