This was one of the rare online buys…
This was one of the rare online buys where the item looked close to the pictures. I picked a one shoulder satin dress for my partner and it looked elegant without feeling too formal. She didn’t have to keep fixing it during the event which she appreciated. I’d order again after this experience.

Recently ordered a dress
Recently ordered a dress, online from harper wears. Just after I ordered it realised I had chosen the wrong colour. I emailed them minutes after, explaining my mistake and asked if they could swap the colour over. Within 2 hours ( it was late arvo so definitely after closing time) i recieved an email back from someone at harper wears, with complete understanding and empathy to my mistake, she promised to correct it. Dress turned up , she in fact did correct it and I got the colour i wanted. Dress is great, and wanted to say that the service was impeccable.
Not a complaint here :) very happy

Scam - avoid
Scam - avoid!
The shoes arrived - looked nothing like advertised - we weren’t even sure if they were real leather and the soles were cheap and poorly made. The soles were a different colour than advertised - in the photos the soles are black but in real life they are tan coloured. They also didn’t arrive in a shoebox but a random plastic bag. Very low quality.
When I went to return them I was told that I have to pay to send them to China and they will take 15% of the cost of the boots as a handling fee. So after the refund I’ll end up with less than half my money back.
The company claims to be based in Belgium but they are actually based in China.
They advertise a 30 day “money back guarantee” - just know that they only mean about half of your money.
Seriously - don’t shop here. It’s a rort.

I was unsure about ordering a dress online as a gift but the satin one worked out really well. The fit looked flattering and she said it stayed comfortable the whole evening. That was enough for me.

Got the boho style dress as a surprise and wasn’t sure if the sizing would be right. She tried it on as soon as it arrived and really liked the airy feel. The packaging was neat too which made the order feel more reliable.

I found a orthopaedic boot that should give my heal pains relief - being Tan size 11 as suggested by an Orthopaedic person. I ordered a pair as above at a great price sale. On looking further to Harperwears stocks & found as well as boots their range of mens & women’s clothing etc, to my wife's delight finding a lovely Green lined Jumper with white line features in her size which I also ordered, which we're waiting for confirmation of her order = 2 happy purchasers, thanks = an Aus Co as well.NOTE: Unfortunately NOW it’s all gone to bad as it seems my wife’s order was duplicated, I requested this Company to cancel 1 of the order duplicated & credit my account -which they won’t do & are sending both same Jumpers 👎. Very disappointing as they verbally agreed that it was obviously a duplicated order. Also they don’t stand by their advertised 50% Credit deals, on 1 of our orders they say the 50%off is off your next order & don’t honour this 👎, & on another order say differently? re discount. You can’t ring them as their only phone number is a recording saying email their customer service- which I did to no help at all- would I recommend them? definitely not

Please Don’t spent your money and time buying Harper Wear Shoes. It is a SCAM. They sent you poor quality, plastic shoes that are not what they show on the web. The delivery takes about a month. It is so disappointing when you open the package… then the return process is another problem: you have to pay again to sent them back to the warehouse in Asia. They take 15% of your purchase some they won’t return the whole amount you pay. SCAM SCAM SCAM

This is a SHAM business
This is a SHAM business business (and I use this…
This business (and I use this description very loosely) is a total sham. The website contains photos of dress designs (not theirs), copied from other manufacturers. The web page purports to be from Melbourne Australia, the truth is it is China somewhere. From my investigation when an order is received the dress or item is then made, very poorly and from poor material. It is made to look like the photo. Clearly does not. It is then sent through an international carrier, iMile and delivered in Australia by Australia Post. The return address is an address in Brisbane, (at least for the items I have seen). I have been to the address and spoken to the owner of the property. He has a sign on his gate. He has been confronted by many unhappy customers since October 2025. He has taken the matter with Scam watch, various other govt departments, iMile and Australia Post and nothing is able to be done. As others have described, cant communicate with anyone, we were asked to return the package to the US, others to China. There is also another web page Emilia Melbourne doing exactly the same thing, same business just a different name. Apparently there are others. It is a total scam and I happy to be sued for these comments. Whatever you do dont buy anything from them.
30/7/2026 Following the response below I have sent an email as I was requested. I have asked for a 100% refund and have offerred to return the items at their expense. I will let you all know what happenes.
