Serious Property Damage Following Oven Clean – Liability Denied
We recently had Harts Cleaners carry out an oven clean at our home, and unfortunately it resulted in a very disappointing experience.
Shortly after the visit, we discovered a large crack in our granite worktop, which was not present prior to the appointment. The damage is significant and appears to require a full replacement rather than a repair.
What was particularly concerning is that the affected area had been covered with an oven glove, which we only noticed after the technician had left.
We contacted the company immediately. Initially, responsibility was denied, then we were advised that insurance details would be provided. However, we have since been informed that they are not accepting liability for the damage.
We have been left with what appears to be substantial damage and no resolution.
Based on this experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution.

We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed following your recent appointment, however we must respectfully clarify the situation.
Following your report, we took this matter extremely seriously and immediately referred it to our insurance provider for a full and impartial review. As a fully insured business, this is the correct and necessary process for any claim of this nature.
At no point has liability been accepted, as there is no evidence to support that our service caused the damage described. We carried out an oven clean.
It is also important to note that insurance investigations require time to be properly reviewed. This review was still ongoing at the time this review was posted, meaning no final outcome had yet been determined.
We understand concerns when damage is discovered in a home, however we cannot accept responsibility without evidence or confirmation from our insurers. Any suggestion that we have acted improperly is not accurate.
We have remained professional throughout and have followed the correct procedures at every stage.
we kindly ask that all communication remains through the appropriate channels while the review process is completed.
Fantastic oven clean
Great service, brought all ther equipment with them, they were in and out without any disruption, oven brilliantly cleaned, looked like it was back to brand new, highly reccomend

The two personnel from Harts arrived early and did an amazing job. I recently moved into a rental flat and the oven was filthy. It was gleaming when they finished. Highly recommend.

Outstanding Oven Clean
Harts cleaners came to clean my oven. They were absolutely brilliant. They were arrived early and we very respectful of the property. My oven looked like new, I’ve never been able to get such polished sparkling oven . I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Done a great job and got my oven back to its sparkling best. Very nice people aswell who were polite and got on with the job. Have rebooked them again.
