I was initially disappointed with a delivery issue of Lily bulbs but after a swift positive response from Harts Nurseries I am now very grateful for the positive outcome.

One of the owners of the company took personal responsibility for the delivery issue and resolved it brilliantly.

It’s fair to say that it’s not so much what happens when an issue arises but how a company resolves it.

Highly recommended nursery! I bought 3 types of pollen free lilies this year and they have all been fantastic. The bulbs were all a very good size and have grown to be incredibly healthy with beautiful large blooms, all exactly as described on their website. In particular, Lilium Broken Heart is amazing - enormous blooms and a superb fragrance. Delivery was quick and as promised. I'll be a repeat customer.

I wanted some tall and elegant lilies to grow in pots and boy did I get what I wanted,
Lilium "White Angel" and L Henrii, in large pots 4 ft tall and wonderfully scented and very hardy , I live in the Highlands on the east coast

Great service and great products. Our tree lilies this year are over 2 metres tall and have been very long lasting and prolific.

I always buy my Allium and Lily bulbs from Harts and thet have never failed to give absolute pleasure ... first class in all respects !

I have only had lily bulbs from Harts for the last 2 years but I will be buying only their bulbs from now on. We set ourselves a project to make a “great wall of lilies” and we have succeeded. Incorrect Order
I bought a pack of 5 mixed Calla lilies two months ago. 4 out of the 5 are now flowering but unfortunately they are all yellow and I was really disappointed, (despite the fact that they look stunning), particularly as I'd left a message on the nursery phone to tell them and hadn't heard back. However it turns out that the delay was because Jonathan and Victoria were away at a show and they are going to send me a few different coloured ones now. So all's well that ends well

I purchased 3 Allium Globemaster bulbs last September. My only regret is I didn't purchase more at the time.They were absolutely stunning.Many of my neighbours have commented on how lovely they were.They were also a magnet for the bees.I plan to plant more this year.I covered them with a straw mulch as I live in Scotland and the winter can be harsh.

I purchased some lily bulbs at the RHS flower show today from this chap who ran the outdoor stand. He couldn’t been more rude to me! I am absolutely appalled and disappointed that this comes from a company who praises themselves as being gold medal awarded etc. Long story short, some lady jumped the queue in front of me, she then realised and stood right behind me with her bag of bulbs. When my turn came to pay for my order, the chap who was running the stand decided to take her bag of lilies “before they get ruined by the rain” (?!what??) and then gave her the card machine to pay for the purchase. All this whilst I was standing there, in front of the actual queue, with my soggy bag of lily bulbs. I told the chap I was unhappy with his way of handling customers but had no apology, he was actually implying he hadn’t noticed I was the first in line . Rubbish and unrealistic excuse. I felt mistreated, shown lack of respect and taken for a fool. I now regret having purchased from them… Not to mention that I left a decent review on their Instagram page which they deleted ! How disappointing . Will never ever purchase again.

I have just received the two Hedychium Ginger Lily tubers I ordered from Harts. They are the most magnificent, healthy tubers with good strong shoots showing. I am most impressed...and they were delivered well packaged and quickly. Nothing to fault at all. This was my first experience of buying bulbs/tubers on-line from Harts and I would most certainly recommend them

I purchased calla corms recently, what large healthy looking corms they were, and noticed they are growing well, also purchased various lily
bulbs, all doing well not one failure, happy customer

I have to say I'm very happy with this company. I ordered lily bulbs last Oct 2020, which were due to be sent to me in Ireland in Spring 2021, but because of Brexit it turned out that it would cost a lot of money to ship these bulbs. The company got back to me recently and explained this and refunded my money's back without a bother, I had actually forgotten all about this as the order was placed last year, but in fairness the company didn't. I do hope things will get better as I love this company, especially their selection of lilies and this issue could not have been avoided.

It is always disappointing when an online transaction goes sour. When we pay our money upfront we trust the retailer to fulfil their end of the bargain as we have already handed over our hard earned cash. It is especially surprising when the retailer has such a good rating on Trust pilot.

Ten months ago, in August 2020 I placed a large order for lilies worth £45.00. I hoped by placing it so early I would be near the top of the list for delivery in early 2021 as I wanted to get them planted as soon as possible. I also paid £16.50 for shipping to Ireland. When February came and went with no communication on delivery dates I checked the Harts Nursery website for information. There was a notice about extra cost associated with a Phytosanitary Certificate which is now required for deliveries to Northern Ireland and the EU and that the delivery charges would be updated to reflect that. So I waited expecting to hear about the extra cost soon. When there was still no communication by the end of March I emailed asking how much the extra charges were likely to be and if it was so costly that it just was not viable, if I could cancel the order. I received no reply to that email so I waited again for something to happen. The website still has the same notice about extra costs.

I emailed again last week having realised that it is now too late to plant. Perhaps unsurprisingly I have received no reply.

To say I am disappointed cannot begin to describe how I am feeling about this.

I have purchased 133 different calla lily cultivar rhizomes to make a display and some came from Harts Nursery. The rhizomes received were at least twice the size of any other online seller and where the same price or cheaper. Highly recommended.

Excellent service 👏 👏👏 very prompt delivery. My bulb orders arrived very well packaged with very healthy bulbs. Enjoying Beautiful blooms in the garden. Would definitely recommend Harts Nursery if you are looking for a striking addition to your home environment.
