Last Thursday morning 17.06.2026 I went to the store in Kinsale Rd Cork to buy a box of ink and paper for Canon Selphy printer (RP108), I had bought same product via click and collect the previous day which went smoothly (15.06.26) but needed more.
The product was not on the shelf so I went to the counter with 2 staff members, 1 serving another customer with some sort of difficulty being experienced. The Store was not busy it was before 11a.m.
There were a further 3 staff members standing around the area speaking together apparently it took all to deal with a woman about a printer she was buying. The staff memeber behind the counter looked for the product on till/computer but had difficulty locating it so he asked another member who had been 1 of the 3 speaking together who flipantly directed him out to stock room (as he proceeded to enter a door beside the customer service counter - not friendly staff communication). The staff member who was serving me then proceded to don a visi vest and head off, I waited for a few mins and he came back empty handed, just as he started to speak to me an older staff member (with goatee beard) approached and started talking over him sending him to the counter with printer and woman previously mentioned, leaving me just standing there. This older member just looked at me standing there and commented "I am serving this woman, anyway one of them should be helping you" pointing twds the other 2 staff nearby who had previously been with him - the counter staff member he had pulled away was supposed to be serving me!
I approached the 2 staff memebers speaking to each other explained what I was looking for and one told me he only had the one for €160 - the product costs €39.95, I questioned him and he gave some excuse that he was talking about printer , proving he had not listened to me and eventually told me that the ink/paper was only available in Tralee. This whole process took over 20 mins to tell me that the product was not available in-store and I experienced poor customer service across the whole group dealt with. (In the car I contacted O Learys Camera World in Cork City they had the product and customer service was excellent) I will not shop at Harvey Normans Technical dept Kinsale Rd again as a result of this poor customer care & as this is not the first time experiencing poor service in this particular Department -
I shop in Harveys quite regularly and find the furniture dept & the large appliance Dept staff customer service excellent and interested in customers queries .

Six staff were standing in a circle hopping balloons off each others heads while blaring ‘Forgiven, Not Forgetten’ by the Corrs and when we wished to make an exchange we waited before being told no - no explanation offered and at that point, who would want to wait to find one. This is why Amazon is successful and you will be with the Liquidators soon. Piss poor

We ordered and paid washing machine and dryer weeks ago in preparation for our new house. Once we had the key we confirmed the date of delivery. One day before, they called us that our order is out of stock. Very frustrated. So what’s the point on ordering ahead of time? They should have said that when we ordered. They asked us to change our order and we changed it right away and paid for it. Day of delivery, NOOOOOOO ITEMS DELIVERED!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The member of staff at click and collect wouldn't deal with me and was quiet rude, after booking for C&C I had to go to another counter to re order my item, senseless.

I ordered a bed online. Got a call that evening saying bed ready for collection. I asked if it could be collected at Kinsale roundabout rather than little island which i was told no bother it would be there. I went to.cork esoecially on Monday to collect and the bed wasnt there. The manager i dealt with couldnt have cared less. Told me it would be Wed or Thurs which was no good fir me as I wss away on holidays. I asked could they deliver it on Wed as it wss needed for family member at home. Was told no ,there was no delivers my way . So i cancelled my order and he just went along with it,hardly an apology or an attempt to rectify Harvey Normans mistake. Awful poor service. I really could not trust to buy furnirure there again. I felt as a customer i was irelevant and not valued. So why would i give ye my hard earned cash.

Very Pleased, could do with little more instructions, took time to figure it all out, But got there. Recieved everything in package. Plenty rivets, good shovel, must buy handle. Going to buy again for log storage.

The delivery and installation service was excellent. The delivery arrived on time according to the notified schedule. The installation of the plumbing did not go totally to plan due to a missing component in the plumbing but the engineer returned to complete the installation when the component had been purchased. An excellent service was provided voluntarily.

The service couldn’t be better, pro-active contact for back ordered item, responded to all my additional requests and questions + worked around my availability for delivery, driver was great too, strong recommend, only thing that could be improved would be the addition of a WEEE collection option on the order page
