The jacket isn’t warm enough for the New Jersey winters we get. Had to keep the jacket and only got a $5.00 credit back to my Visa card. It was cost prohibitive to send the jacket back which I would have had to pay the returning fee.

I would give you 0 stars if I could. It took a long time to arrive, supposedly because of lengthy quality inspections. So, it didn't get here for Christmas, which was my wife's first disappointment. I ordered an XL, which is what she wears. It was clearly not like all of her other XL items. We gave it to one of our daughters, who typically wears a medium, and it fit her pretty well. That was my wife's second disappointment. So, thank you for ruining my wife's Christmas. Thank you for helping me waste $70.00 (although my daughter may get some use out of it). And don't expect to ever receive another order from us. I wish I had checked out your reviews before I placed my order. Now I understand why 69% of reviews are 1 star.

Shipping sucks. Items coming from China never have an ‘expected delivery date’ this coat was no different. Though we could watch where it stopped there was never a date when to expect its arrival.
Shame good quality coat stuck with lousy shipping.

I bought that same jacket for 69 DOLLARS. UGLY, SHEDS, ZIPPER problems, yuck! Send my 69 back. i will never order from them again. poor quality products

The shoes I received were not at all like the shoes I ordered. I'm not sure the shoes are even leather; the color is completely off, the soles are not as pictured and the velcro closure is white with the closure on the shoe itself wider than the strap so it seen on all sides of the strap. BAD LOOK! It's a very low end knockoff and a total disappointment. Will never do business with this vendor again.

You credited my account in a timely manner when I accidently ordered two jacked. I appreciate that. It took a long time to be delivered.The jacket is lighter weight than I expected but will make a nice spring jacket & I love the colors. Thank-you

The fuzzy, expensive coat I ordered was not a coat; it was a poorly made hoodie. The zipper is not functional. I requested a full refund (numerous times) as per their refund policy and was offered a 10% or 20% refund (numerous times). I still have not received instructions as to how to return the coat, nor have they indicated that they will refund my money. I wish I had seen these reviews prior to ordering... I never would have bought from them. Lesson learned. (Hazel and Rue: I'd be delighted to update this review if you decide to do the right thing and honor your return policy). I will be letting everyone on social media know, also.

The coat was poor quality material and did not fit as advertised. I wanted a refund but was convinced to accept a store credit. I chose the hat, what could go wrong? The hat was too small and does not fit my head. Very disappointed overall. Will never order from this seller again.

The jacket I received was not what I saw online and ordered , the color was the same but it had no pockets and looked like a rag, i was very disappointed

Would be better with a better quality zipper

Thanks for checking up on your product delivery. We did get the product ordered wife really likes the colors. Not sure where this jacket came from Hialeah, Florida, Boston, MA or from somewhere where it was on an international flight in one point of the delivery process. Just to let you know the plastic packing bag that was to hold the jacket was ripped apart leaving the exterior bag of GOFO the only protection the product had while being delivered. Appears that someone had a problem with the packing or they were looking for something in the bag. Might need to check with you shipper on the process of delivering your packages.

Still waiting for item to arrive for Xmas. I ordered from them in Boston, about 130 miles away, not realizing the item was coming from out of the country, like Italy or Spain. After shipping had to exit customs in country of origin, then US Customs which it cleared just before the holiday and as of yesterday was now in SEATTLE! which is about as far away from me except for Hawaii.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Hazel & Rue. The pieces are even more beautiful in person — the quality, the fit, the fabric… everything feels premium and thoughtfully made. You can really tell this brand cares about detail.

Shipping was smooth, the packaging felt luxurious, and the customer support was so kind and personal. They answered my questions right away and made the whole experience feel special.

I’ve already received so many compliments on my outfits. I’ll definitely be ordering again — Hazel & Rue has become one of my new favorite boutiques.

I ordered a jacket from Hazel & Rue Boston for $69.95 on Nov. 25 2025. I received it today. It was horrible quality looking like a dead animal fur, not in a nice way, and the zipper is worthless as it gets stuck in the "fur" on the inside all the way down. It took 2 minutes to open the jacket to get it out of the package. Customer support said that you have to send product back at your own expense and that it is expensive. This was not explained when I purchased the jacket. They will give me 10% if I select this option. Or they will give me a store credit to buy more junk. All I want to do is get a full refund and send this back, hoping no one else will get scammed by this company. Their ads are on Facebook. Going there next to
