I recently engaged HD Events for their services, and I'd like to share my experience. Overall, I would rate their service as 3 stars.

The Pros:
1. Variety of Artists: HD Events boasts an impressive roster of artists and bands, making it easy to find the right entertainment for various occasions. The selection includes something for everyone, from corporate events to weddings and parties.

2. Booking with Confidence: I appreciated their acknowledgment of the challenges faced by the events industry due to Covid-19. Their assurance of "Book with Confidence" demonstrates a commitment to their clients' peace of mind during uncertain times.

The Cons:
1. Communication: While HD Events provides a wide array of entertainers, I found that the communication aspect could be improved. It took longer than expected to get responses to my inquiries, and sometimes, I had to follow up multiple times to receive the information I needed.

2. Website Experience: The website's user experience could be more user-friendly. Navigating through their extensive list of artists can be a bit overwhelming, and I found it challenging to locate specific information about each artist's offerings and pricing.

3. Transparency: I would have appreciated more transparency regarding pricing and fees associated with booking an act. Clear and upfront information about costs would have made the decision-making process smoother.

In conclusion, HD Events offers a commendable variety of live entertainment options, and their commitment to addressing Covid-19 concerns is reassuring. However, there is room for improvement in terms of communication efficiency, website usability, and pricing transparency. With some enhancements in these areas, they have the potential to provide an even better service.

Fantastic band, we had so many compliments on them! A really lovely, gentle but professional approach and made us feel at ease, like they’re on the wedding journey with you! Can’t recommend them enough

we were very skeptical having read other reviews on this company and experienced the same issues leading closer to our day with a change in line-up due to singers health however we have to say with perfect communication from the staff at HD and seeing the new line up we had the best night ever and our guests have not stopped talking about it. if you want a night filled with great entertainment and memories BOOK with these guys.

Highly recommend, the quality of event and musicians is second to none.

Saw Fonz and the Poet at the Perch in Swansea. What a great band! So much fun! Looking forward to seeing them again at a friend's wedding!

Thank you HD events! Fonz and the poet played my wedding last year. They were absolutely amazing! Went above and beyond, even sorting a song for me that's not in their set! My guests absolutely loved them! Couldn't have picked a better band!

Booked Fonz becsuse after seeing them at many events i knew they were the band who fitted our wedding vibe. We were not wrong.
Booking process was easy and we had regular communication with the company in the run up to the day too. We didnt stop dancing all night, the energy was high and everyone loved the Fonz as we antisipated they would.the dance floor was never empty. What a top class act. Highly reccomend A*

An incredible company. Can’t do enough to help you out. Very professional and extremely talented. I’ve seen many of the bands at weddings and they always deliver to the highest quality. The musicians are always polite, helpful and exceptional at what they do.

They are the first company I suggest whenever I’m asked about hiring bands for a wedding or party. David and Huw are so easy to work with and will go above beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want and deserve.

Our original band had to cancel last minute.. We called HD Events and they found us a brilliant band within a weeks notice including a day time sax player and they were by far the best band we have ever seen and the room was bouncing all night long

Huw who contacted me was so rude because I wanted to cancel the band because I had second thoughts as I advised by my bank that they may not be legit. Attitude is so bad. Don’t book with this company. Terrible customer service, awful attitude

We booked 'The Selection' who are managed by HD Events via another entertainment agency over a year before our wedding date. After months of confirmation that they were available and looking forward to performing at our wedding, we were informed (after a week of chasing HD Events for the final invoice) that the band was no longer available and that they 'didn't want to worry us and were trying to sort something out with understudies.' This was the day before our wedding. No apology was offered. The agency we had booked the band through was also not informed. We were sorting out a band last minute on the morning of our wedding, stress we did not need and could have been avoided if HD Events had been open and honest from the start. We did not want them to send their understudies as we felt a) this was not their call to make and b) there are several other reviews which report how poor the replacement acts were. We are very disappointed with HD Events and would not recommend them.

They ruined our wedding!!! The band we had booked a year and a half before our wedding did not show up. Instead we were sent an awful group of musicians who turned up late, started 2hrs 45mins after the agreed start time and now the owner of this company has failed to call me on multiple occasions. Don't let this happen to you.

If I could give 0* I would. We booked a band called "The Selection" which is part of HD EVENTS LTD that we booked through an agency. We booked them 18 months prior to our wedding and had asked them to learn our first dance which was part of the package. We were really looking forward to seeing them. Long story short they did not show up at our wedding. We had to call on our wedding day as they were a no show. We called the agent and then 2 hours later 3 random musicians were sent with no apology. They weren't even a group and had to sing from ipads like it was karaoke. They were awful. We reached out to David Cooper who is one of the Directors and part of the band. He said he sent an email 4 days prior to our wedding saying the lead singer had another job like that was acceptable. It turned out the email was sent by someone else not him, but don't you think a call would be the way to go seeing as it's so close to the wedding and I hadn't replied. On the day the musicians turned up 2 hrs late, then had technical difficulties so instead of starting at 7pm they started at 9:40pm. Our first dance was 2 hrs late because of the band and they obviously hadn't learnt our first dance so we had to run it through the speakers. We were also charged by the photographer for over running and we couldn't use our photobooth while the band were setting up in the sectioned part of the hall.

David Cooper was made aware of this. He has said he was going to call 3 times now but hasn't. It seems he really doesn't care that our wedding was ruined.

I found some other reviews and this isn't the first time they've done this either.

Unfortunately due to the lack of communication we are now taking legal action. We don't want this to happen to anyone else so please avoid.

Fantastic service, booked with David from HD Events and its was so much fun.. he recomended a few bands to us and we ended up booking with The Hook..they delivered a show far beond our expectations.
Would recomend.

Was having a total nightmare looking for the perfect band for a themed event. Heard about HD Events from a friend and got in touch via their social media. They were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for me, they were able to put together the perfect band for our event. Would definitely book with HD Events again, they really do have a band for all occasions!
